hakim:8581Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > Baḥr b. Naṣr > Bishr b. Bakr > al-Awzāʿī > Yaḥyá b. Abū Kathīr > Abū Salamah > ʿAbd al-Raḥman

[Machine] I returned to Abu Hurairah and leaned him against my chest, then I said, "O Allah, heal Abu Hurairah." He said, "O Allah, do not return it." Then he said, "If you can, O Abu Salamah, die." So I said, "O Abu Hurairah, we love life." He said, "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Abu Hurairah, there will come a time upon the scholars when death will be dearer to one of them than red gold. One of you will come to the grave of his brother and say, 'I wish I were in his place.'"
