Either he will give you some of his perfume or its fragrance will affect you'."
[Machine] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying, "The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, used to walk as if he was leaning against something." Ibn Abi Maryam said, Yahya ibn Ayoub narrated to us from Humeid al-Tawil, who said, "I heard Anas ibn Malik saying, 'The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, used to walk as if he was leaning against something.' Ibn Abi Maryam said, and someone other than Ibn Ayoub informed us about this tradition, and he said, 'As if he was hobbling.'"

[Machine] From Nu'beyh Al-'Anazi, from Jabir bin 'Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not walk ahead of me or behind me, for this is the position of the angels." Jabir said, "I came to the Prophet ﷺ hastily as if I were a spark."

It was said, 'A man would be called and they would say, 'Muh, muh, muh,' indicating that he gets angry at this nickname.' So the verse was revealed: 'And do not insult one another with nicknames' (Quran, Al-Hujurat 11). 'The chain of narration is authentic and they did not exclude it' (Sahih)."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us during his illness in which he passed away, and he had a cloth tied around his head. He said, "I have been given the choice of meeting the Hour or staying by the Pond." Then he said, "Indeed, a servant was presented with the worldly life and its adornments, and he chose the Hereafter." No one among the people comprehended this except for Abu Bakr, so he said, "May my mother and father be sacrificed for you! We would ransom you with our own selves, children, wealth, and supporters." Then he descended from the pulpit and was not seen until the Hour.

I said, 'I am Buraida, may I be sacrificed for you, O Prophet of Allah.' He said, 'Indeed, he has been given a part of the Psalms of the family of David.'"
When we were around the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he mentioned the period of commotion (fitnah) saying: When you see the people that their covenants have been impaired, (the fulfilling of) the guarantees becomes rare, and they become thus (interwining his fingers). I then got up and said: What should I do at that time, may Allah make me ransom for you? He replied: Keep to your house, control your tongue, accept what you approve, abandon what you disapprove, attend to your own affairs, and leave alone the affairs of the generality. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4343)
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade khadhf (a form of false accusation of adultery)." A man then engaged in khadhf in front of him, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "I am telling you about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and by Allah, I will never speak to you again." The two scholars, Sheikhain (referring to the two prominent hadith scholars, Imam al-Bukhari and Imam Muslim), agreed to exclude the hadith of 'Uqbah ibn Suhban from 'Abdullah ibn Mugaffal regarding the prohibition of khadhf, and they did not include it in this context, although its chain of narration is authentic. Similar narrations have been reported from Ibn 'Umar."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbidding "khalaf" (a type of game) and then Ibn Umar saw him after that playing "khalaf" and he said, "I informed you that the Prophet ﷺ forbade playing 'khalaf'." Then you still played it, by Allah, I will never speak to you again.

What was that sin and aggression that they used to cooperate in?" He said, "They used to mock and ridicule the travelers on the path and throw stones at them."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If you hear the barking of dogs and the braying of donkeys at night, seek refuge in Allah from the accursed devil; for indeed, they see what you do not see. And reduce your going out when it happens, for Allah, the Most High, sends forth during the night whatever He wills among His creation. And close the doors, and mention the name of Allah upon them, for indeed, the devil does not open a door that has been closed and upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned. And tie up water skins, and cover the food containers, and cover the containers."

A mouse came dragging a wick and dropped before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the mat on which he was sitting with the result that it burned a hole in it about the size of dirham. He (the prophet) said: When you go to sleep, extinguish your lamps, for the devil guides a creature like this to do thus and sets you on fire. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5247)

[Machine] The translation of the given statement into English is as follows:
"When it used to rain, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would raise his garment from his back until the rain touches him. He was asked, 'Why do you do this?' He replied, 'It is a sign of the covenant with His Lord, the Almighty.'"
[Machine] From him, Umar, I sought permission to embark on my journey until I reached him. Then I said, "O Commander of the Believers, I was informed that you asked about the wind. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'The wind is from the breath of Allah, bringing both mercy and punishment. So do not curse it, rather ask Allah for its goodness and seek refuge in Allah from its harm.'"
[Machine] It used to be that when the wind intensified, he would say, "O Allah, let it be a beneficial wind, not harmful." This is an authentic narration according to the condition of the two sheikhs (Al-Bukhari and Muslim), and they did not include it according to the conditions of Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to mention Khadijah frequently, so I said, "Allah has surely replaced you with someone better." And perhaps Hammad said, "Allah has preferred you over the old women of Quraysh, with reddish cheeks. They perished in the earlier times." He said, "He frowned and his face showed signs of anger, which I would only see when revelation descended upon him and when he saw lightning and thunder, until he would know if it was mercy or punishment."
from his father, that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would hear the sound of thunder and lightning bolts, he would say: “O Allah, do not kill us with Your wrath, and do not destroy us with Your punishment, and pardon us before that (Allāhumma lā taqtulnā bi-ghaḍabika wa lā tuhliknā bi-ʿadhābika wa ʿāfinā qabla dhālik).” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3450)

[Machine] From 'Amr ibn Malik al-Jawni, from Fadala ibn 'Ubayd, from 'Ubadah ibn as-Samit, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out one day on his mount and his companions were with him. Mu'adh ibn Jabal said: "O Messenger of Allah, may I have permission to approach you out of my own desire?" He ﷺ said, "Yes." So Mu'adh drew closer to him until they were side by side. Mu'adh said, "O Messenger of Allah, by my father and mother, may my life be ransomed for you - make our day be before your day. What do you think if we don't see anything or any more days, if Allah so wills? What action should we do after you?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell silent. He then said, "Jihad in the cause of Allah." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Jihad is indeed a good thing. But the fasting and charity that man offers are also good." He (Mu'adh) asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what about my father and mother? Is there anything that I can bring them that is better than this?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ pointed towards Mu'adh and said, "Silence is a virtue." He (Mu'adh) said, "And will we really be punished for what our tongues utter?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then struck his thigh and said, "O Mu'adh, May your mother be bereaved of you! Will people be thrown on their faces or on their noses into Hell unless their tongues speak what they utter? Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should either speak what is good or remain silent."
