[Machine] The translation of the given statement into English is as follows:

"When it used to rain, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would raise his garment from his back until the rain touches him. He was asked, 'Why do you do this?' He replied, 'It is a sign of the covenant with His Lord, the Almighty.'"

الحاكم:٧٧٦٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ ثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا أَمْطَرَتِ السَّمَاءُ حَسَرَ ثَوْبَهُ عَنْ ظَهْرِهِ حَتَّى يُصِيبَهُ الْمَطَرُ فَقِيلَ لَهُ لِمَ تَصْنَعُ هَذَا؟ قَالَ «إِنَّهُ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِرَبِّهِ ﷻ»

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ ذا في مسلم
