"In the end of time there will come a people young in years, foolish in minds, reciting the Qur'an which will not go beyond their throats, uttering sayings from the best of creatures, going through the religion as an arrow goes through the target."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَخْرُجُ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ قَوْمٌ أَحْدَاثُ الأَسْنَانِ سُفَهَاءُ الأَحْلاَمِ يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لاَ يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مِنْ قَوْلِ خَيْرِ الْبَرِيَّةِ يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ

“Some people will pass out of Islam as the arrow passes out of the prey. They will recite the Qurʿan but it will go no further than their collar bones. Glad tidings to the one who kills them and they kill him. Their sign will be a man with a deformed arm.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ قَوْمًا يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الإِسْلامِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ طُوبَى لِمَنْ قَتَلَهُمْ وَقَتَلُوهُ عَلامَتُهُمْ رَجُلٌ مُخْدَجُ الْيَدِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿAt the end of time, there will be people who recite Qurʿan but it will go no further than their collarbones; they will pass out of Islam as the arrow passes out of the prey. Fighting them is a duty upon every Muslim.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَكُونُ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ قَوْمٌ يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الإِسْلامِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ قِتَالُهُمْ حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ

[Machine] Uqbah bin Amer, may Allah and His Messenger bless him, said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'There will come a time when men will recite the Quran but it will not go beyond their throats. They will pass through the religion just as the arrow passes through the prey.'"

عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ صَدَقَ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَيَقْرَأَنَّ الْقُرْآنَ رِجَالٌ لَا يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ

[Machine] "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'There will be men who will recite the Quran but it will not go beyond their throats. They will pass through the religion just as an arrow passes through its target.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيَقْرَأَنَّ الْقُرْآنَ رِجَالٌ لَا يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ»

[Machine] Did you hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say anything about the Khawarij? He said, "I heard him say, 'A group will emerge among them who recite the Quran, but it will not go beyond their throats. They will leave the religion as an arrow leaves its target.'"

سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي الْخَوَارِجِ شَيْئًا؟ قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ وَأَهْوَى بِيَدِهِ نَحْوَ الْعِرَاقِ «يَخْرُجُ بَيْنَهُمْ قَوْمٌ يَقْرَأُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ»

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَخْرُجُ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ قَوْمٌ يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ مُرُوقَ السَّهْمِ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ قِتَالُهُمْ حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ»

اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ قَوْمًا يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ

"لَيَقْرَأن القُرآنَ رِجَالٌ لَا يُجَاوزُ تَرَاقِيَهُم، يَمْرُقُونَ مِن الدِّينِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنْ الرَّمِيَّةِ".

"سَيَخْرُجُ قَوْمٌ يَقْرَأُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يجاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ، يَمْرُقُونَ، مِنَ الدِّين كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّة".

"يَجئُ قَوْمٌ يَقْرَأُونَ الْقُرآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهمْ، يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِن الرَّمِيَّةِ عَلَى فوقِهِ".

"يَخْرُجُ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَشْرِقِ قَومٌ يَقْرَأُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ، يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ".
