The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the consumer of usuary, the one who enables its consumption, the one who writes it down, the one who witnesses it. He said, "They are all equal."

لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ وَكَاتِبَهُ وَشَاهِدَيْهِ وَقَالَ: «هُمْ سَوَاءٌ۔»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who accepted usury, the one who paid it, the witness to it, and the one who recorded it.

لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ وَشَاهِدَهُ وَكَاتِبَهُ

"The Messenger of Allah cursed the woman who tattoos and the one tattooed, the woman who fixed hair extensions and the one who had her hair get extended, the consumer of Riba and the one who pays it, and Al-Muhallil and Al-Muhallal Lahu."

لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمُوتَشِمَةَ وَالْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمَوْصُولَةَ وَآكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ وَالْمُحَلِّلَ وَالْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ

"The one who consumes Riba, the one who pays it, and the one who writes it down, if they know that it is Riba; the woman who does tattoos and the woman who has that done for the purpose of beautification; the one who withholds Sadaqah (Zakah); and the one who reverts to the life of a Bedouin after having emigrated- they will (all) be cursed upon the tongue of Muhammad [SAW] on the Day of Resurrection."

آكِلُ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلُهُ وَكَاتِبُهُ إِذَا عَلِمُوا ذَلِكَ وَالْوَاشِمَةُ وَالْمَوْشُومَةُ لِلْحُسْنِ وَلاَوِي الصَّدَقَةِ وَالْمُرْتَدُّ أَعْرَابِيًّا بَعْدَ الْهِجْرَةِ مَلْعُونُونَ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] cursed the one who consumes Riba, the one who pays it, the one who writes it down and the one who witnesses it; the woman who does tattoos and the woman who has that done"- he said: "Unless it is done as a remedy;" he said: "Yes"- "the man who married a woman in order to divorce her so that she may go back to her first husband and the man (the first husband) for whom that is done; and the one who withholds Sadaqah (Zakah). And he used to forbid wailing (in mourning), but he did not say 'cursed'"

لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَشْرَةً آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ وَكَاتِبَهُ وَشَاهِدَيْهِ وَالْحَالَّ وَالْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ وَمَانِعَ الصَّدَقَةِ وَالْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ

There is no doubt that it was ‘Ali ؓ - said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who consumes riba, the one who pays it, the two who witness it, the one who writes it is down, the one who does tattoo the one for whom tattoos are done, the one who marries a woman and is divorces her so that she become permissible for her first husband, the one for whom that is done and the one who withholds zakah. And he forbade wailing.

Ibn ‘Awn said: Except in the case of illness? He said: Yes. [And he continued:]... the one who marries a woman and divorces her so that she becomes permissible for her first husband, and the one for whom that is done, and the one who withholds zakah. And he forbade wailing (for the dead). He did not say curse. I said: Who told you? He said: al-Harith al-A’war al-Hamdani.

It was narrated from ʿAli ؓ that The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who consumes riba, the one who pays it, the two who witness it, the one who writes it down, the one who marries a woman and divorces her so that she becomes permissible for her first husband, and the one for whom that is done, the woman who does tattoos and the woman who has tattoos done, and the one who withholds zakah. And he forbade wailing (for the deceased).

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who accepted usury, the one who paid it, the witness to it, and the one who recorded it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3333)

لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ وَشَاهِدَيْهِ وَكَاتِبَهُ

[AI] "Abdullah is a consumer of usury, and its enabler, and its writer, and its witnesses, when they are aware of it, and the tattooers and those who have tattoos for beauty purposes, and those who consume charity wrongfully, and the apostate Arab after his migration are all cursed on the tongue of Muhammad ﷺ on the Day of Resurrection." Ibrahim said: "I mentioned that to Ibrahim and he said: 'Alikamah informed me, he said: 'Abdullah is a consumer of usury and its enabler, and they are equal.'"

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the woman who adds some false hair and the woman who asks for it, the woman who tattoos and the woman who asks for it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4168)

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَعَنَ الْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةَ وَالْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ»

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَعَنَ آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ وَكَاتِبَهُ وَشَاهِدَيْهِ وَهَذَا الْكَلَامُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ لَعَنَ آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ وَشَاهِدَيْهِ وَكَاتِبَهُ وَالْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةَ وَالْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمَوْشُومَةَ وَالنَّامِصَةَ وَالْمُتَنَمِّصَةَ وَنَهَى عَنِ النَّوْحِ

"The Messenger of Allah cursed the woman who tattoos and the one tattooed, the woman who fixed hair extensions and the one who had her hair get extended, the consumer of Riba and the one who pays it, and Al-Muhallil and Al-Muhallal Lahu." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3416)

[AI] "Eating riba (usury), and the one who consumes it, and the witness to it, and the writer of the contract, they are all cursed. Those who get tattoos, and those who tattoo others for beauty purposes, they are cursed, according to the words of Muhammad (PBUH), until the Day of Judgment. However, it doesn't mention the one who is forced to engage in riba or the one who is forced to consume it."

«لَعَنَ مُحَمَّدٌ ﷺ آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ وَشَاهِدَهُ وَكَاتِبَهُ وَالْوَاشِمَةُ وَالْمُتَوَشِّمَةُ» قَالَ قُلْتُ «إِلَّا مِنْ دَاءٍ» قَالَ «نَعَمْ وَالْمُحَلِّلُ وَالْمُحَلَّلُ لَهُ وَمَانِعُ الصَّدَقَةِ وَكَانَ يَنْهَى عَنِ النَّوْحِ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ لَعَنَ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who consumes riba, the one who pays it, the two who witness it, the one who writes it down, the woman who does tattoos and the woman who gets tattoos done for adornment, the one who withholds zakah, the one who marries a woman and divorces her so that she becomes permissible for her first husband, and the one for whom that is done, And he forbade wailing (for the deceased). لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ وَكَاتِبَهُ وَشَاهِدَيْهِ وَالْمُحَلِّلَ وَالْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ وَالْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمَوْشُومَةَ وَنَهَى عَنِ النَّوْحِ وَلَمْ يَلْعَنْ صَاحِبَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who practices "Wasilah" (seeking intercession through a person or object) and the one who practices "Mutasilah" (offering intercession), the tattooer and the one who is tattooed, the eater of interest (usury) and the one who feeds it to others, the one who makes a forbidden thing lawful and the one who does it for him. This is the narration of Abu Nuaym, and in the narration of Al-Zubayri, he added (cursed) the one who has been marked, and he said "the one who marks" and "the one who feeds it".

لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُوْتَصِلَةَ وَالْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمُوتَشِمَةَ وَآكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُؤْكِلَهُ وَالْمُحَلِّلَ وَالْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ الزُّبَيْرِيِّ الْمَوْشُومَةَ وَقَالَ الْمَوْصُولَةَ وَقَالَ مُطْعِمَهُ

"The one who consumes Riba, the one who pays it, and the one who writes it down, if they know that it is Riba; the woman who does tattoos and the woman who has that done for the purpose of beautification; the one who withholds Sadaqah (Zakah); and the one who reverts to the life of a Bedouin after having emigrated- they will (all) be cursed upon the tongue of Muhammad [SAW] on the Day of Resurrection." "آكِلُ الرَّبَا ومُوكِله وكاتِبهُ وشَاهدَاهُ إِذا عَلمُوا ذَلكَ وَالوَاشمَةُ والْمَوْشُوْمَة لِلحُسْنِ ولاوِى الصَّدَقَةِ والْمرْتَدُّ أَعْرَابِيًا بَعدَ الْهِجْرَةِ مَلْعُونونَ عَلَى لِسانِ مُحَمَّدٍ يَومَ القِيَامَةِ ".

"لَعَنَ اللهُ آكِلَ الرِّبَا، ومُوكِلَه وكاتِبَهُ، ومَانِعَ الصدقة".

"لَعَنَ الله آكلَ الرِّبا، ومُوكلَه وَشَاهِدَه، وكاتِبهُ".

"لَعَنَ اللهُ آكِلَ الرِّبَا، وَمُوكلَهُ وَشَاهِدَيه، وَكَاتبَهُ وَالْوَاشمَةَ، وَالمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ، وَمَانِعَ الصَّدَقَةِ، وَالْمُحِلَّ، وَالْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ".

"عن عَلِىٍّ قالَ: لَعَن رسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَشَرَة: آكِلَ الرِّبَا، ومُوكِلهُ، وشَاهِدَيْه، وَكاتِبه، والواشِمة والمُسْتَوشِمَة للِحُسْنِ، ومانعَ الصَّدقَةِ، والمُحِلَّ، والمُحلَّل لهُ، وَكانَ يَنهى عَن النَّوْح وَلمَ يقُل لَعنَ".

"عَنْ عَلِىٍّ قَالَ: لَعَنَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ آكِلَ الرِّبَا، وَمُوكِلَهُ، وَشَاهِدَهُ، وَكَاتِبَهُ، وَالْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمَوْصُولَةَ".

"عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: لَعَنْ رسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ آكِلَ الربا (*) ومُوكِلَهُ وَشَاهِدَيْهِ وَكاتِبَهُ، وَقَالَ: هُمْ سَواءٌ".

"عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ آكِلَ الرِّبَا، ومُوكلَهُ، وكَاتِبَهُ، وَشَاهِدَيْهِ، وَقَالَ: هُمْ سَوَاءٌ".

"عَن ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: آكِلُ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلُهُ وَشَاهِدُهُ وَكَاتبُهُ إِذَا عَلِمُوا بِهِ. وَالْواصِلَةُ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةُ وَالْوَاشِمَةُ وَالْمَوْشُومَةُ للْحُسْنِ وَالْمَحَللُ وَالْمُحَلَّلُ لَهُ. وَلَاوِى

الصَّدَقَة وَالْمُتَعَدِّى فيهَا، وَالْمُرْتَدُّ عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ أَعْرَابيًا بَعْدَ هِجْرَتِهِ، مَلْعُونُونَ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ".

"عَنْ أبِي هُرْيَرةَ قَالَ: لَعَنَ رسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ آكَل الرِّبَا، ومُوكِلَهُ، وكَاتِبه، وَشاهِدَهُ وَهُو يَعْلَمُ، والْمُحَلِّلَ، والْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ".

"عَنِ الشَّعْبِىِّ قَالَ: لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ آكِلَ الرِّبَا، وَمُوكِلَهُ، وَشَاهِدَيْهِ، وَكَاتِبَهُ، والواشمة، وَالمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ لِلْحُسْنِ، وَمَانِع الصَّدَقَةِ، وَالمُحَلِّلَ، والمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ، وَكَانَ يَنْهَى عَنِ النَّوْحِ".
