البزّار:٦٣٧٣حَدَّثنا محمد بن يَحْيَى بن الفياض حَدَّثنا عبد الأعلى حَدَّثنا حُمَيد عَن قَتادة عَن أَنَسٍ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ

اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فِي سَفَرٍ فَسَمِعَ صَوْتَ مُؤَذِّنٍ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ فَقَالَ أَخْلَصَ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَالَ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ قَالَ ثُمَّ نَظَرْنَا فَإِذَا هُوَ رَاعٍ حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاةُ فَأَذَّنَ أَوْ نَحْوَ هَذَا الْكَلامِ

[Machine] While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, we heard a man saying "Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar." The Prophet ﷺ said, "On the Fitrah (natural disposition)." Then he said, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ said, "This man has come out of the Fire."

أحمد:١٣٥٣٢حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard a man saying 'Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest). He said, 'Upon Fitrah (natural inclination).' Then he said, 'I testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, I testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah.' Then he said, 'Have you come out from the Fire.'"

[Machine] The translation of the passage is as follows: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to repeat the words of the Mu'adhdhin when he heard him saying, 'Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest.' He would say the same words. And when the Mu'adhdhin said, 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah,' he would say the same words. And when the Mu'adhdhin said, 'I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah,' he would say the same words."

[Machine] While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on one of his journeys, he heard a caller saying "Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar." So he said, according to his natural disposition, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah." Then he said, "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." He said, "He who testifies to the truth will be saved from the Fire. Look, you will find him either as a shepherd who is oppressed or as a dog with distemper." So they looked and found him as a shepherd. Prayer approached, so he called for it.

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ إِذْ سَمِعَمُنَادِيًا يَقُولُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَقَالَ شَهِدَ بِشَهَادَةِ الْحَقِّ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ قَالَ خَرَجَ مِنَ النَّارِ انْظُرُوا فَسَتَجِدُونَهُ إِمَّا رَاعِيًا مُعْزِبًا وَإِمَّا مُكَلِّبًا فَنَظَرُوهُ فَوَجَدُوهُ رَاعِيًا حَضَرَتْهُ الصَّلَاةُ فَنَادَى بِهَا

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to say the same words as the Mu'adhin (the caller to prayer) when he heard him say "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is the greatest). And when the Mu'adhin said "Ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah" (I bear witness that there is no god but Allah), the Prophet Muhammad would say the same words. And when the Mu'adhin said "Ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasul Allah" (I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah), the Prophet Muhammad would also say the same words.
