The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When the Mu'adhdhin says: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, and one of you should make this response: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; (and when the Mu'adhdhin) says: I testify that there is no god but Allah, one should respond: I testify that there is no god but Allah, and when he says: I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, one should make a response: I testify that Muhammad is Messenger of Allah. When he (the Mu'adhdhin) says: Come to prayer, one should make a response: There is no might and no power except with Allah. When he (the Mu'adhdhin) says: Come to salvation, one should respond: There is no might and no power except with Allah, and when he (the Mu'adhdhin) says: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, then make a response: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. When he (the Mu'adhdhin) says: There is no god but Allah, and he who makes a re- sponse from the heart: There is no god but Allah, he will enter Paradise.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ أَحَدُكُمُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ حَىَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ قَالَ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ حَىَّ عَلَى الْفَلاَحِ قَالَ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ثُمَّ قَالَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ قَالَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ مِنْ قَلْبِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

“Allah is most great, Allah is most great”, and one of you says in response: “Allah is most great”, Allah is most great; then says: “ I testify tht there is no god but Allah”, and he says in response: “I testify that there is no god but Allah”, then say:” I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”, and he makes the response: “ I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”, then says: “Come to prayer”, and he makes the response: “There is no might and no power except in Allah”: then says: “ Allah is most great, Allah is most great”, and he makes the response: “Allah is most great”, then says: “There is no god but Allah”, if he says this from his heart, he enter Paradise.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ أَحَدُكُمُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ فَإِذَا قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ فَإِذَا قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ حَىَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ قَالَ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ حَىَّ عَلَى الْفَلاَحِ قَالَ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ثُمَّ قَالَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ قَالَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ مِنْ قَلْبِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

"I was sitting with Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif when the Mu'adhdhin called the Adhan. He said: 'Allahu akbar; Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest),' and he (also) pronounced the takbir twice. Then he said: 'Ashhadu an la ialaha ill-Allah (I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah),' and he also sent the testimony twice. Then he said: 'Ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasul-Allah (I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah),' and he (also) sent the testimony twice. Then he said: 'This is what Mu'awiyah bin Abi Sufyan told me, narrating from statement of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.'"

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ فَكَبَّرَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ فَتَشَهَّدَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَتَشَهَّدَ اثْنَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي هَكَذَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ قَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard a man saying 'Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest). He said, 'Upon Fitrah (natural inclination).' Then he said, 'I testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, I testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah.' Then he said, 'Have you come out from the Fire.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ قَالَ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ أَشْهَدُأَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَقَالَ خَرَجْتَ مِنَ النَّارِ

[AI] "We entered upon Mu'awiyah and the caller announced the prayer, saying 'Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar'. Mu'awiyah said 'Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar'. Then he said 'Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah' (I testify that there is no god but Allah). Mu'awiyah said 'Wa ana ashhadu' (And I testify to that). Abu 'Amir said 'And I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah'. Mu'awiyah said 'Wa ana ashhadu' (And I testify to that). Abu 'Amir said 'And I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah'. Yahya reported that a man told him that when Mu'awiyah said 'Hayya 'ala as-salah' (Come to prayer), he then said 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah' (There is no power or strength except with Allah). Mu'awiyah said, 'This is how I heard your Prophet ﷺ say'."

دَخَلْنَا عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ فَنَادَى الْمُنَادِي بِالصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ قَالَ أَبُو عَامِرٍ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ قَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ قَالَ أَبُو عَامِرٍ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ قَالَ يَحْيَى فَحَدَّثَنَا رَجُلٌ أَنَّهُ لَمَّا قَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ لَا حَوْلَوَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ قَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ هَكَذَا سَمِعْتُ نَبِيَّكُمْ ﷺ يَقُولُ

[AI] "There is no god but Allah, He is One. Abu Umamah bore witness to this twice, and the muadhin (caller to prayer) bore witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, twice. Abu Umamah then turned to me and said, 'This is how Muawiya ibn Abi Sufyan narrated to me from the Messenger of Allah.'"

أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَشَهِدَ أَبُو أُمَامَةَ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَشَهِدَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَشَهِدَ أَبُو أُمَامَةَ اثْنَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ إِلَيَّ فَقَالَ هَكَذَا حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

[AI] "Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, and he said, 'I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.' Then he said, 'Come to prayer.' He said, 'There is no power or strength except through Allah.' He said, 'Come to success.' He said, 'There is no power or strength except through Allah.' He said, 'Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest.' He said, 'There is no god but Allah.' He said, 'There is no god but Allah.' This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say or your Prophet when the caller to prayer calls."

أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ فَقَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ فَقَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ فَقَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ فَقَالَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ هَكَذَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُأَوْ نَبِيُّكُمْ إِذَا أَذَّنَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ

[AI] The translation of the passage is as follows: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to repeat the words of the Mu'adhdhin when he heard him saying, 'Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest.' He would say the same words. And when the Mu'adhdhin said, 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah,' he would say the same words. And when the Mu'adhdhin said, 'I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah,' he would say the same words."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ يَقُولُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ قَالَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِ وَإِذَا قَالَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِ وَإِذَا قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ قَالَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِ

[AI] Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, used to say when she heard the caller (to prayer): "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah."

عَائِشَةُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُنَادِيَ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ

الْمُؤَذِّنُ «اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ» فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ فَقَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ « ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ أَحَدُكُمُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ قَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ قَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مِنْ قَلْبِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عُمَرَ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ فَسَمِعَ صَوْتَ مُؤَذِّنٍ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ فَقَالَ أَخْلَصَ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَالَ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ قَالَ ثُمَّ نَظَرْنَا فَإِذَا هُوَ رَاعٍ حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاةُ فَأَذَّنَ أَوْ نَحْوَ هَذَا الْكَلامِ

[AI] I was sitting with Muawiya, and when the caller for prayer called, Muawiya said, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah." Then the caller for prayer said, "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." Muawiya said, "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." Then the caller said, "Come to prayer." Muawiya said, "There is no power or strength except with Allah." Then the caller said, "Come to success." Muawiya said, "There is no power or strength except with Allah." Then the caller said, "Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest." Muawiya said, "Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest." Then the caller said, "There is no god but Allah." Muawiya said, "There is no god but Allah." Then Muawiya said, "This is how I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say."

كُنْتُ جَالِسًا مَعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَلَمَّا أَذَّنَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ «هَكَذَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ»

[AI] That Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah said, "I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." Then he said, "Come to prayer." He said, "There is no power or might except with Allah." He said, "Come to success." He said, "There is no power or might except with Allah." He said, "Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest." Muawiyah said, "Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest." Then he said, "There is no god but Allah." He said, "There is no god but Allah." Then he said, "This is how I heard your Prophet ﷺ say."

أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ قَالَ «أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ» فَقَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ «لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ» قَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ قَالَ «لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ» قَالَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ قَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ «اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ» فَقَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَقَالَ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ» ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا سَمِعْتُ نَبِيَّكُمْ ﷺ يَقُولُ

[AI] "We entered upon Muawiyah and the caller for prayer called out, 'Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.' Muawiyah said the same and then said, 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah.' He repeated this statement and then said, 'I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.' He also repeated this statement. Then he said, 'This is how I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying.'"

دَخَلْنَا عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ فَنَادَى الْمُنَادِي لِلصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ كَمَا قَالَ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَقَالَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ أَيْضًا فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ فَقَالَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «هَكَذَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ»

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to say the same words as the Mu'adhin (the caller to prayer) when he heard him say "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is the greatest). And when the Mu'adhin said "Ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah" (I bear witness that there is no god but Allah), the Prophet Muhammad would say the same words. And when the Mu'adhin said "Ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasul Allah" (I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah), the Prophet Muhammad would also say the same words.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ يَقُولُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ قَالَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِ فَإِذَا قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِ فَإِذَا قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ قَالَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِ

[AI] "He heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, and Bilal was calling the adhan. When he said 'Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar', the Prophet of Allah said, 'Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar'. Then he said, 'Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah', the Prophet of Allah said, 'Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah'. Then he said, 'Ashhadu anna Muhammadan rasulullah', and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the same. Then he remained silent."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَبِلَالٌ يُؤَذِّنُ فَلَمَّا قَالَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ «اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ» ثُمَّ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ «أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ» ثُمَّ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِثْلَهَا ثُمَّ صَمَتَ

[AI] The Prophet, ﷺ , heard a man making the call to prayer during a journey. He said, "Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest." The Prophet, ﷺ , said, "Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest." The man said, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah." The Prophet, ﷺ , said, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah." The man said, "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." The Prophet, ﷺ , said, "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يُؤَذِّنُ فِي سَفَرٍ قَالَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ» قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ «أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ» قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ قَالَ «أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ»

“Allah is most great, Allah is most great”, and one of you says in response: “Allah is most great”, Allah is most great; then says: “ I testify tht there is no god but Allah”, and he says in response: “I testify that there is no god but Allah”, then say:” I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”, and he makes the response: “ I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”, then says: “Come to prayer”, and he makes the response: “There is no might and no power except in Allah”: then says: “ Allah is most great, Allah is most great”, and he makes the response: “Allah is most great”, then says: “There is no god but Allah”, if he says this from his heart, he enter Paradise. "إذا قال المؤذنُ: الله أكبرُ الله أكبر، فقال أحدُكُمْ، الله أكبرُ الله أكبر، ثمّ قال: أشْهَدُ أن لَّا إِله إلَّا الله، قال أشْهَدُ أن لَّا إله إِلا الله، ثُمّ قال: أشهدُ أن محمَّدًا رسولُ الله، قال: أشهد أن محمدًا رسول الله، ثُمَّ قال: حَي على الصلاةِ، قال لا حولَ ولا قوةَ إلّا بالله، ثُمَّ قال: حَي على الفلاح قال، لا حولَ ولا قُوةَ إلّا بالله، ثم قال: الله أكبر الله أكبر، قال: الله أكبر الله أكبر، ثُمّ قال: لا إله إلّا الله قال: لا إله إلّا الله من قْلبِه دخلَ الجنَّة".

"عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، قَالَ: دَخَلْنَا عَلَى مُعَاوِيةَ، فَجَاءَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ فَأَذَّنَ، فَقَالَ: الله أَكْبَرُ، الله أَكْبَرُ، فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيةُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ الله، فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيةُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: هَكَذَا سِمَعْتُ نَبِيَّكُمْ ﷺ يَقُولُ".
