[Machine] "We entered upon Muawiyah and the caller for prayer called out, 'Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.' Muawiyah said the same and then said, 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah.' He repeated this statement and then said, 'I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.' He also repeated this statement. Then he said, 'This is how I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying.'"  

الطبراني:١٦٨٤٨حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ قَالَ

دَخَلْنَا عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ فَنَادَى الْمُنَادِي لِلصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ كَمَا قَالَ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَقَالَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ أَيْضًا فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ فَقَالَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «هَكَذَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ»

[Machine] The translation of the passage is as follows: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to repeat the words of the Mu'adhdhin when he heard him saying, 'Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest.' He would say the same words. And when the Mu'adhdhin said, 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah,' he would say the same words. And when the Mu'adhdhin said, 'I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah,' he would say the same words."

[Machine] Muaawiya heard the caller saying "Allah is the greatest! Allah is the greatest!" So he said, "Allah is the greatest!" When he heard him say, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah," Muaawiya said, "And I bear witness." Then when he heard him say, "I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah," Muaawiya said, "And I bear witness." Then Muaawiya said, "This is how I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying."

"عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، قَالَ: دَخَلْنَا عَلَى مُعَاوِيةَ، فَجَاءَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ فَأَذَّنَ، فَقَالَ: الله أَكْبَرُ، الله أَكْبَرُ، فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيةُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ الله، فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيةُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: هَكَذَا سِمَعْتُ نَبِيَّكُمْ ﷺ يَقُولُ".
