البزّار:٣٢٩٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ قَالَ نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ نَا فَائِدٌ مَوْلَى عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ طَبَخْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ

صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَطْنَ شَاةٍ فَأَكَلَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الْكَتِفَ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ ﷺ مِنْ أَكْلِهِ، كَانَ ذَلِكَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ لَا كَتِفَ إِبِلٍ

ibnhibban:1144 – ʿUmar b. Saʿīd b. Sinān > Aḥmad b. Abū Bakr > Mālik > Zayd b. Aslam > ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār > Ibn ʿAbbās

Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a piece of cooked mutton from the shoulder region and prayed without repeating ablution. (Using translation from Bukhārī 207)
