The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Come toward the pulpit," and we all came. When he climbed a step, he said, "Āmīn", and when he climbed the second step he said, "Āmīn", and when he climbed the third step he said, "Āmīn.” When he came down ˹after the sermon˺ we asked, "O Messenger of Allah, we heard something from you that we had not heard before."

He said, "Jibrīl ﷺ ˹came˺ to me and said, (1) 'Away with the one who found Ramadan and he was not forgiven.'", and I said, 'Āmīn.'"

"When I climbed the second ˹step˺ he said, 'Away with the one to him when I (Allah) am mentioned and he does not send ṣalāh upon you.'"

"When I climbed the third ˹step˺ he said, 'Away with the one who finds his parents in old age or ˹at least˺ one of them and they do not become ˹a means˺ for him to enter Jannah.' And I said, 'Āmīn.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «احْضَرُوا الْمِنْبَرَ» فَحَضَرْنَا فَلَمَّا ارْتَقَى دَرَجَةً قَالَ «آمِينَ»، فَلَمَّا ارْتَقَى الدَّرَجَةَ الثَّانِيَةَ قَالَ «آمِينَ» فَلَمَّا ارْتَقَى الدَّرَجَةَ الثَّالِثَةَ قَالَ «آمِينَ» فَلَمَّا نَزَلَ قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَقَدْ سَمِعْنَا مِنْكَ الْيَوْمَ شَيْئًا مَا كُنَّا نَسْمَعُهُ۔

قَالَ: «إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ ﷺ عَرَضَ لِي فَقَالَ: بُعْدًا لِمَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَمَضَانَ فَلَمْ يَغْفَرْ لَهُ. قُلْتُ: آمِينَ».

«فَلَمَّا رَقِيتُ الثَّانِيَةَ قَالَ: بُعْدًا لِمَنْ ذُكِرْتُ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْكَ. قُلْتُ: آمِينَ».

«فَلَمَّا رَقِيتُ الثَّالِثَةَ قَالَ: بُعْدًا لِمَنْ أَدْرَكَ أَبَوَاهُ الْكِبَرَ عِنْدَهُ أَوْ أَحَدُهُمَا فَلَمْ يُدْخِلَاهُ الْجَنَّةَ. قُلْتُ: آمِينَ».

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascended the pulpit, and when he reached the first step, he said, "Ameen." Then he ascended another step and said, "Ameen." Then he ascended a third step and said, "Ameen." Then he said, "Jibril came to me and said, 'O Muhammad, whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and is not forgiven, may Allah distance him.' I said, 'Ameen.' He said, 'Whoever reaches old age and both of his parents, or one of them, are not the reason for him to enter Paradise, may Allah distance him.' I said, 'Ameen.' He said, 'Whoever has your name mentioned in front of him and does not send blessings upon you, may Allah distance him.' I said, 'Ameen.' So I said, 'Ameen.'"

صَعِدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمِنْبَرَ فَلَمَّا رَقِيَ عَتَبَةً قَالَ «آمِينَ» ثُمَّ رَقِيَ عَتَبَةً أُخْرَى فقَالَ «آمِينَ» ثُمَّ رَقِيَ عَتَبَةً ثَالِثَةً فقَالَ «آمِينَ» ثُمَّ قَالَ «أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ فقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَمَضَانَ فَلَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللَّهُ قُلْتُ آمِينَ قَالَ وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ وَالِدَيْهِ أَوْ أَحَدَهُمَا فَدَخَلَ النَّارَ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللَّهُ قُلْتُ آمِينَ فقَالَ وَمَنْ ذُكِرْتَ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْكَ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللَّهُ قُلْ آمِينَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ»

[Machine] "The Prophet (PBUH) ascended the pulpit and said, 'Ameen, Ameen, Ameen.' It was asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, when you ascended the pulpit, you said 'Ameen, Ameen, Ameen.' He said, 'Gabriel came to me and said, 'Whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and does not have his sins forgiven, and therefore enters Hell, then may Allah distance him. Say ameen.' So, I said 'ameen.' Then Gabriel said, 'Whoever's parents or one of them reaches old age and they do not earn Paradise by being dutiful towards them, then may Allah distance him. Say ameen.' So, I said 'ameen.' Then Gabriel said, 'Whoever hears your name mentioned and does not send blessings upon you, then may Allah distance him. Say ameen.' So, I said 'ameen."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَقَالَ «آمِينَ آمِينَ آمِينَ» قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّكَ حِينَ صَعِدْتَ الْمِنْبَرَ قُلْتَ آمِينَ آمِينَ آمِينَ قَالَ «إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ أَتَانِي فَقَالَ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ شَهْرَ رَمَضَانَ وَلَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ فَدَخَلَ النَّارَ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللَّهُ قُلْ آمِينَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ أَبَوَيْهِ أَوْ أَحَدَهُمَا فَلَمْ يَبَرَّهُمَا فَمَاتَ فَدَخَلَ النَّارَ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللَّهُ قُلْ آمِينَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ وَمَنْ ذُكِرْتُ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْكَ فَمَاتَ فَدَخَلَ النَّارَ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللَّهُ قُلْ آمِينَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ climbed the pulpit and said, "Ameen, ameen, ameen." He ﷺ said, "Jibreel came to me and said, 'O Muhammad, whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and does not have his sins forgiven and enter Paradise, may Allah distance him.' So I said, 'Ameen.' He ﷺ said, 'O Muhammad, whoever has his parents, either one or both, reaching old age in his life and he does not honor them and receive their compassion, may Allah distance him.' So I said, 'Ameen.' He ﷺ said, 'O Muhammad, whoever has your name mentioned in his presence and he does not send blessings upon you, may Allah distance him.' So I said, 'Ameen.'"

صَعِدَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْمِنْبَرَ فَقَالَ «آمِينَ آمِينَ آمِينَ» قَالَ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ أَحَدَ وَالِدَيْهِ فَمَاتَ فَدَخَلَ النَّارَ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللهُ قُلْ آمِينَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ قَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ شَهْرَ رَمَضَانَ فَمَاتَ فَلَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ فَأُدْخِلَ النَّارَ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللهُ قُلْ آمِينَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ قَالَ وَمَنْ ذُكِرْتَ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْكَ فَمَاتَ فَدَخَلَ النَّارَ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللهُ قُلْ آمِينَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ

[Machine] While the Prophet ﷺ was on the pulpit, he said "Ameen" three times. When asked about it, he said that Jibril ﷺ came to him and said, "Whoever you are mentioned in front of and they do not send blessings upon you, may Allah distance them. Say Ameen." So I said Ameen. Jibril ﷺ continued, "Whoever reaches the age where their parents, or one of them, are alive and they do not earn their forgiveness, may Allah distance them. Say Ameen." So I said Ameen. He further said, "Whoever witnesses the month of Ramadan and is not forgiven, may Allah distance them. Say Ameen." So I said Ameen.

بَيْنَمَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ إِذْ قَالَ «آمِينَ» ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ فَسُئِلَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَقَالَ مَنْ ذُكِرْتَ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْكَ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللهُ قُلْ آمِينَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ قَالَ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ وَالِدَيْهِ أَوْ أَحَدَهُمْ فَمَاتَ وَلَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللهُ قُلْ آمِينَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَمَضَانَ فَلَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللهُ قُلْ آمِينَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ ascended the pulpit and repeated it three times, then he said, 'Do you know why I gave the guarantee?' They said, 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' He said, 'Gabriel came to me and informed me that whoever you are mentioned in his presence and he does not send blessings upon you, he will enter Hellfire, so Allah distances him and insults him. Then I said, 'Ameen.' And whoever reaches both his parents or one of them in old age and does not enter Paradise through them, he will enter Hellfire, so Allah distances him and insults him. Then I said, 'Ameen.' And whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and is not forgiven, he will enter Hellfire, so Allah distances him and insults him. Then I said, 'Ameen.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ارْتَقَى عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَأَمَّنَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ «تَدْرُونَ لِمَ أَمَّنْتُ؟» قَالُوا اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ جَاءَنِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ مَنْ ذُكِرْتَ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْكَ دَخَلَ النَّارَ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللهُ وَأَسْحَقَهُ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ وَالِدَيْهِ أَوْ أَحَدَهُمَا فَلَمْ يَبَرَّهُمَا دَخَلَ النَّارَ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللهُ وَأَسْحَقَهُ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَمَضَانَ فَلَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ دَخَلَ النَّارَ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللهُ وَأَسْحَقَهُ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascended the steps of the pulpit and said, "Ameen." Then he ascended another step and said, "Ameen." Then he ascended another step and said, "Ameen." He said, "Jibril ﷺ came to me and said, 'O Muhammad, whoever reaches the age of his parents or one of them and does not enter Paradise, may Allah distance him.' Say Ameen, so I said Ameen. And whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and is not forgiven, may Allah distance him.' Say Ameen, so I said Ameen. And whoever hears your name and does not send blessings upon you, may Allah distance him.' Say Ameen, so I said Ameen.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَقَى عَتَبَةَ الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ «آمِينَ» ثُمَّ رَقَى عَتَبَةً أُخْرَى فَقَالَ «آمِينَ» ثُمَّ رَقَى عَتَبَةً أُخْرَى فَقَالَ «آمِينَ» فَقَالَ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ وَالِدَيْهِ أَوْ أَحَدَهُمَا ثُمَّ دَخَلَ النَّارَ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللهُ قُلْ آمِينَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَمَضَانَ فَلَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللهُ قُلْ آمِينَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ وَمَنْ ذُكِرْتَ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْكَ فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللهُ قُلْ آمِينَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ

[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out one day to the pulpit and said as he ascended one step, 'Ameen,' then he ascended the next step and said, 'Ameen,' then he ascended the third step and said, 'Ameen.' When he descended from the pulpit and finished, we said, 'O Messenger of Allah, today we heard from you something we had never heard before.' He said, 'Did you hear it?' We replied, 'Yes.' He then said, 'Verily, Jibril ﷺ came to me while I was ascending a step and said, "May Allah distance the one who does not have his parents reach old age and enter Paradise from both of them." I said, 'Ameen.' Jibril ﷺ then said, "May Allah distance the one in whose presence you are mentioned and he does not send blessings upon you." I said, 'Ameen.' Jibril ﷺ then said, "May Allah distance the one who reaches the month of Ramadan and does not have his sins forgiven." I said, 'Ameen.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ يَوْمًا إِلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ حِينَ ارْتَقَى دَرَجَةً «آمِينَ» ثُمَّ ارْتَقَى الْأُخْرَى فَقَالَ «آمِينَ» ثُمَّ ارْتَقَى الثَّالِثَةَ فَقَالَ «آمِينَ»

فَلَمَّا نَزَلَ عَنِ الْمِنْبَرِ وَفَرَغَ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَقَدْ سَمِعْنَا مِنْكَ كَلَامًا الْيَوْمَ مَا كُنَّا نَسْمَعُهُ قَبْلَ الْيَوْمِ؟ قَالَ «وَسَمِعْتُمُوهُ؟» قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ ﷺ عَرَضَ لِي حِينَ ارْتَقَيْتُ دَرَجَةً فَقَالَ بَعُدَ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ أَبَوَيْهِ عِنْدَ الْكِبْرِ أَوْ أَحَدَهُمَا لَمْ يُدْخِلَاهُ الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ آمِينَ وَقَالَ بَعُدَ مَنْ ذُكِرْتُ عِنْدَهُ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْكَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ ثُمَّ قَالَ بَعُدَ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَمَضَانَ فَلَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ

that the Prophet ﷺ ascended the pulpit and said: “Amin, Amin, Amin.” He was asked: O Messenger of Allah, you did not used to do this? He said: “Jibril said to me: ‘May the nose of a servant be rubbed in the dust who ˹lives to see˺ his parents, or one of them, yet they do not cause him to enter Jannah.’ So I said: ‘Amin.’ Then he said: ‘May the nose of a servant be rubbed in the dust who has Ramadan come upon him and is not forgiven.’ So I said: ‘Amin.’ Then he said: ‘May the nose of a man be rubbed in the dust in whose presence you are mentioned and he does not send blessings upon you.’ So I said: ‘Amin.’”

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَقَى الْمِنْبَرَ فَقَالَ: «آمِينَ، آمِينَ، آمِينَ»، قِيلَ لَهُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَا كُنْتَ تَصْنَعُ هَذَا؟ فَقَالَ: «قَالَ لِي جِبْرِيلُ: رَغِمَ أَنْفُ عَبْدٍ أَدْرَكَ أَبَوَيْهِ أَوْ أَحَدَهُمَا لَمْ يُدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ، قُلْتُ: آمِينَ. ثُمَّ قَالَ: رَغِمَ أَنْفُ عَبْدٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ رَمَضَانُ لَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ، فَقُلْتُ: آمِينَ. ثُمَّ قَالَ: رَغِمَ أَنْفُ امْرِئٍ ذُكِرْتَ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْكَ، فَقُلْتُ: آمِينَ»

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم رقى المنبر فقال آمين آمين آمين فقيل يا رَسولَ اللهِ ما كنت تصنع هذا فقال إن جبريل قال رغم أنف من دخل عليه رمضان ثُمَّ لم يغفر له رغم أنف عَبد أو بعد ثُمَّ قال رغم أنف رجل أو بعد أدرك والديه أو أحدهما ثُمَّ لم يدخل الجنة فقلت آمين ثُمَّ قال رغم أنف عَبد أو رجل أو بعد ذكرت عنده فلم يصل عليك فقلت آمين

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم الْمِنْبَرَ فَقَالَ آمِينَ آمِينَ آمِينَ فَلَمَّا نَزَلَ سُئِلَ عَن ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ رَغِمَ أَنْفُ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَمَضَانَ فَلَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ قُلْ آمِينَ قُلْتُ آمِينَ وَرَغِمَ أَنْفُ رَجُلٍ ذُكِرْتَ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْكَ قُلْ آمِينَ فَقُلْتُ آمِينَ وَرَغِمَ أَنْفُ رَجُلٍ أَدْرَكَ وَالِدَيْهِ أَوْ أَحَدَهُمَا فَلَمْ يغفر له أو لا يدخلانه الجنة آمِينَ قُلْتُ آمِينَ هَذَا أَوْ نَحْوُهُوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرة إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ولاَ نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا رواه عن سِمَاك إلاَّ قيس ولاَ نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَنْ قَيْسٍ إلاَّ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنَ أَبَانٍ

"أَتانى جبريلُ فقال: رَغِمَ أنف رَجُل أدرك رمضانَ فلم يُغْفرْ لهُ، قلْ: آمين، فقلت: آمِين، ورَغِمَ أنْف رجلٍ ذكِرتَ عِندَه فلم يُصلَّ عليْكَ، قلْ: آمِيْن، فقلت: آمين، ورَغِمَ أنف رجلِ أدْرَك أبويه - أَحَدَهُما أو كلاهما - عنده الكبر فلم يدْخلاه الجنَّةَ، قل: آميْن، فقلت: آمين.

"أتانى جبريلُ فقال: يا محمد، من أَدْركَ أحدَ والديه فماتَ فدخل النَّارَ، فأبْعدَه اللهُ، قلْ: آمين، فقلتُ: آمين، قال: يا محمد، من أدرك شهر رمضانَ فماتَ فلم يُغفر له، فأُدخِلَ النارَ، فأبعده اللهُ، قل: آميْن فقلتُ: آميْن، قال: ومَنْ ذُكِرتَ عندهُ فَلَم يُصلَّ عَلَيكَ، فماتِ فدخلَ النّارَ، فأبْعدَه الله، قل: آمِين، فقلتُ: آميْن.

"أتانى جبريلُ فقال: منْ ذكِرتَ عنده فلم يُصلَّ عليكَ دخلَ النارَ فأبْعَده اللهُ وأسْحقُه قلْ: آمين فقلتُ: آمين، قال: وَمَنْ أدركَ والديه أو أحدَهُما، فلم يَبرهُما، دخل النَّارَ، فأبْعدهُ الله وأسحقهُ، قل: آمين، فقلتُ: آمين، ومَنْ أدرَك رمضانَ فلم يغفرْ له دخل النّارَ، فأبعده الله وأسْحقَهُ، قلْ: آمين، فقلتُ آمين.

"إِنَّ جبريلَ أَتانى فقالَ: من أَدْركَ شَهْرَ رمضانَ وَلَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ فَدخَلَ النَّارَ فَأَبْعدَهُ اللَّهُ قلْ: آمينَ فَقلْتُ: آمينَ، ومن أَدْرَكَ أَبَوَيْه أَو أَحَدَهُمَا فَلَمْ يَبَرَّهما فَمَاتَ فَدَخَلَ النَّارَ فَأَبْعدهُ اللَّهُ قلْ: آمين. فَقلْتُ آمينَ، وَمنْ ذُكِرْتَ عِنْدُه فَلَمْ يُصلِّ علَيْكَ فماتَ فَدخَل النَّارَ فَأَبْعدهُ اللَّهُ قلْ: آمينَ. فَقلْتُ: آمينَ" .

"عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: ارْتَقَى رسُولُ الله ﷺ الْمِنْبَرَ فَقَالَ: آمِينَ، ثُمَّ ارْتَقَى ثَانيِةً فَقَالَ: آمِين، ثُمَّ ارْتَقَى ثَالِثَةً فَقَالَ: آمِينَ، ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى فَقَالَ: آمينَ، فَقَالَ أَصْحَاُبهُ: عَلَى مَا أَمَّنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ الله؟ فَقَالَ: أَتَانِى جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ لى: يا مُحَمَّدُ رَغِمَ أَنْفُ امْرِئٍ ذُكِرْتَ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَل عَلَيْكَ، فَقُلتُ آمِينَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: رَغِمَ أنْفُ امْرِئ أَدْرَكَ وَالِديْهِ أَوْ أَحَدَهُما فَلَمْ يُدْخلاَهُ الْجَنَّةَ، فَقُلتُ آمِينَ، وَقَالَ رَغِمَ أَنْفُ امْرِئٍ أَدْرَكَ شَهْرَ رَمضَانَ فَلَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ، فَقُلتُ: آمينَ".
