Umm Salamah said; When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave the salutation, he stayed for a while. By this people thought that women should return earlier than men. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1040)  

أحمد:٢٦٦٤٤حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ هِنْدِ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَلَّمَ مَكَثَ قَلِيلًا وَكَانُوا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ كَيْمَا يَنْفُذُ النِّسَاءُ قَبْلَ الرِّجَالِ
