Umm Salamah said; When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave the salutation, he stayed for a while. By this people thought that women should return earlier than men. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1040)   

البيهقي:٣٠٠٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ السُّلَمِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ بْنُ هَمَّامٍ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ هِنْدِ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا سَلَّمَ مَكَثَ قَلِيلًا كَانُوا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ كَيْمَا تَنْفُذَ النِّسَاءُ قَبْلَ الرِّجَالِ
