[Machine] Narrated Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ : "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to stand up when he finished his prayer, and the women would remain standing until he completed his greetings. The Prophet ﷺ would then stay in his place for a while, walking a short distance. Ibn Shihab said: 'We see that he does this so that the women may leave before he is reached by those who have finished their prayer and departed from the congregation.'"  

عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَلَّمَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ قَامَ النِّسَاءُ حِينَ يَقْضِي تَسْلِيمَهُ وَمَكَثَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي مَكَانِهِ يَسِيرًا قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ فَنَرَى مُكْثَهُ ذَلِكَ وَاللهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ لِكَيْ يَنْفُذَ النِّسَاءُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُدْرِكَهُنَّ مَنِ انْصَرَفَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ
