[Machine] She said, "The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to instruct us that if one of us was menstruating, she should wear an undergarment and then enter with him under his sheet."  

أحمد:٢٥٤١٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَمْروِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ عَنْ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَأْمُرُنَا إِذَا كَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا حَائِضًا أَنْ تَتَّزِرَ ثُمَّ تَدْخُلَ مَعَهُ فِي لِحَافِهِ

When anyone amongst us (amongst the wives of the Holy Prophet) menstruated, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked her to tie a waist-wrapper over her (body) and then embraced her.  

مسلم:٢٩٣a – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ إِحْدَانَا إِذَا كَانَتْ حَائِضًا أَمَرَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَتَأْتَزِرُ بِإِزَارٍ ثُمَّ يُبَاشِرُهَا  

abudawud:268 – Muslim b. Ibrāhīm > Shuʿbah > Manṣūr > Ibrāhīm > al-Aswad > ʿĀʾishah
