[Machine] Jabir heard a man enter on Friday while the Prophet ﷺ was giving a sermon, so the Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Did you pray?" He replied, "No." So the Prophet ﷺ said, "Pray two units (rak'ahs)."  

أحمد:١٤٣٠٩ – حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو

سَمِعَ جَابِرًا دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَصَلَّيْتَ؟ قَالَ لَا قَالَ صَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

A man entered the Mosque while the Prophet ﷺ was delivering the Khutba. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Have you prayed?" The man replied in the negative. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Pray two rakʿat."  

البخاري:٩٣١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو سَمِعَ جَابِرًا قَالَ

دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ: «أَصَلَّيْتَ؟» قَالَ: لاَ۔ قَالَ: «فَصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ۔»

Have you observed prayer? He said: No. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Stand and offer the two rak'ahs. According to Qutaiba, the words are:" He said: Offer two rak'ahs."  

مسلم:٨٧٥c – وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو

سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ الْمَسْجِدَ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ أَصَلَّيْتَ قَالَ لاَ قَالَ قُمْ فَصَلِّ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ صَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

“A man entered the mosque when the Prophet ﷺ was delivering the sermon. He said: ‘Have you prayed?’ He said: ‘No.’ He said: ‘Then pray two Rak’ah.’”  

ابن ماجة:١١١٣ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ أَصَلَّيْتَ؟ قَالَ لاَ قَالَ فَصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ  

ahmad:15067 – Muḥammad b. Bakr > Ibn Jurayj > ʿAmr b. Dīnār > Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh

He heard Jabir bin 'Abdullah say: "A man came when the Prophet ﷺ was on the minbar on a Friday. He said to him: 'Have you prayed two rak'ahs?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Pray.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1400)  

أحمد:١٥٠٦٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَرَكَعْتَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ؟ قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَارْكَعْ

[Machine] A man entered the mosque and the Prophet ﷺ stood on the pulpit to deliver the sermon on Friday. The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Did you pray?" The man replied, "No." The Prophet ﷺ then said to him, "Then pray two units (rak'ahs)."  

الطبراني:٦٧٠٤ – حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَائِمًا فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَصَلَّيْتَ؟» قَالَ لَا قَالَ «فَصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ»

[Machine] A man came on Friday and the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , was giving a sermon. He asked, "Did you pray?" The man replied, "No". The Messenger of Allah then said, "Stand up and perform the prayer."
