[Machine] Jabir ibn Abdullah heard a man enter the mosque while the Messenger of Allah was giving a Friday sermon. He asked, "O so-and-so, did you perform the prayer?" He replied, "No." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then pray two rak'ahs."  

البيهقي:٥٦٩٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ شِيرَوَيْهِ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أنبأ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ

سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ الْمَسْجِدَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ يَا فُلَانُ أَصَلَّيْتَ؟ قَالَ لَا قَالَ صَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمَدِينِيِّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ وَإِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ

[Machine] I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah say, "A man entered the mosque on Friday, while the Prophet ﷺ was giving a sermon. The man was asked, 'Did you pray?' He replied, 'No.' The Prophet then said, 'Pray two units of prayer (Rak'ah).' Abu Muhammad said, 'I also say the same.'"
