The son of Adam grows old, but two (desires) in him remain young: desire for wealth and desire for life.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَهْرَمُ ابْنُ آدَمَ وَتَشِبُّ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَانِ الْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْمَالِ وَالْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْعُمُرِ

"The Son Of Adan grows old, but two things keep him young: Desire for life and desire for wealth."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَهْرَمُ ابْنُ آدَمَ وَيَشِبُّ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَانِ الْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْعُمُرِ وَالْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْمَالِ

"The son of Adam grows old. But two things keep him young: Desire for life and desire for wealth."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَهْرَمُ ابْنُ آدَمَ وَيَشِبُّ مِنْهُ اثْنَانِ الْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْمَالِ وَالْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْعُمُرِ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

“The son of Adam grows old but two things remain young in him: His craving for wealth and his craving for a long life.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَهْرَمُ ابْنُ آدَمَ وَيَشِبُّ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَانِ الْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْمَالِ وَالْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْعُمُرِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The son of Adam ages, yet two things remain in him: greed and hope."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَهْرَمُ ابْنُ آدَمَ وَتَبْقَى مِنْهُ اثْنَتَانِ الْحِرْصُ وَالْأَمَلُ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When the son of Adam dies, two things remain: greed and hope."

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَهْرَمُ ابْنُ آدَمَ وَيَشِبُّ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَانِ الْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْمَالِ وَالْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْعُمُرِ

"يَهْرَم ابْنُ آدَمَ وَتَشِبُّ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَانِ: الْحِرْصُ وَالأَمَلُ".

"يَهْرَمُ ابْنُ آدَمَ وَتَشِبُّ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَانِ: الحِرْصُ عَلَى المَالِ، وَالحِرْصُ عَلَى العُمُرِ".
