قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَهْرَمُ ابْنُ آدَمَ وَتَشِبُّ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَانِ الْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْمَالِ وَالْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْعُمُرِ  

tirmidhi:2339 – Qutaybah > Abū ʿAwānah > Qatādah > Anas b. Mālik

"The Son Of Adan grows old, but two things keep him young: Desire for life and desire for wealth."  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ṣaḥīḥ.
الترمذي:٢٣٣٩ – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

ابن حبّان:٣٢٢٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْبَزَّارُ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حِسَابٍ وَعَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَهْرَمُ ابْنُ آدَمَ وَتَشِبُّ فِيهِ اثْنَتَانِ الْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْمَالِ وَالْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْعُمُرِ» *
