[Machine] From Farwah al-Ashja'i, who narrates from the Prophet ﷺ that he said to a man: "Recite Surah Al-Kafirun (Chapter of Disbelievers) when you go to sleep, for it is a protection from polytheism."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to a man, "Recite in your sleep 'Say, O disbelievers'" for it is a means of protection from polytheism.

14.18 [Machine] The Musnad of Al-Wazaa' ibn Al-Zar'a Al-Abdi
[Machine] I heard Al-Wazaa' (the narrator) saying: "I came to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , along with Al-Ashajj Al-Mundhir ibn 'Amir or 'Amir ibn Al-Mundhir, and they were accompanied by a man who was injured. They reached the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and when they saw the Prophet, ﷺ , they dismounted from their mounts and came to the Prophet, ﷺ , and kissed his hand. Then Al-Ashajj dismounted his mount and took out his saddle and examined it, and he took out two white robes from his clothes and wore them. Then he came to his mount and examined it, and he came to the Prophet, ﷺ , and the Prophet, ﷺ , said to him: 'O Ashajj, in you there are two qualities that Allah and His Messenger love - forbearance and patience.' Ashajj said: 'O Messenger of Allah, were these qualities inherent in me or did Allah bestow them upon me?' The Prophet, ﷺ , said: 'Rather, Allah bestowed them upon you.' Ashajj said: 'Praise be to Allah, who bestowed upon me two qualities that Allah and His Messenger love.' Then Al-Waza' said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have a relative who is afflicted with something, so pray to Allah for him.' The Prophet, ﷺ , said: 'Where is he? Bring him to me.' He said: 'So I did as Ashajj did, I put his two robes on him, then I came to him and he took from his cloak and lifted it until we saw the whiteness of his armpit, then he struck his back and said: 'Get out, enemy of Allah.' So the man turned away, and as he turned his face, he looked at a healthy man."

“No man seizes the wealth of a Muslim unlawfully by means of his (false) oath, but Allah will deny Paradise to him and will doom him to Hell.” A man among the people said: “O Messenger of Allah, even if it is something small?” He said: “Even if it is a twig of an Arak tree.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2324)

14.20 [Machine] The remaining conversation of Abu Juhaym bin Al-Harith Al-Ansari
[Machine] I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying about a man passing in front of another man while he is praying. He said, "If one of you knew what he has upon passing in front of a praying person, he would rather stand for forty years, whether it is a year, a day, or a month, it would be better for him than that."
[Machine] I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying about the one who passes in front of a praying person, he said, "It is better for him to stand in his place than to pass in front of the praying person. I do not know if he said forty years or forty months or forty days."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out for one of his needs towards the well of Jamel, then a man from his companions met him and greeted him, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not reply to him until he placed his hand on the wall, then he wiped his face and hands, and then he said, "And peace be upon you."

[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was delivering a sermon. I said, "A stranger has come to ask about his religion, but he does not know what his religion is." So the Prophet ﷺ turned towards me and left his sermon. Then a seat made of palm leaves with iron legs was brought, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat on it. Then he came to me and taught me what Allah had taught him. Afterwards, he returned to his sermon and completed it.
[Machine] Abu Rifaa'a is a man from the tribe of Bani Adiy. I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was giving a sermon and he mentioned the Hadith.

14.22 [Machine] The remaining conversation of Abu Zuhair Al-Thaqafi
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say in his sermon, during the time of Prophethood or in the construction of the building from Ta'if, "You are about to learn who are the people of Paradise from the people of the Fire, or who among you are the best among you and who among you are the worst. And I only know that he said, 'The people of Paradise from the people of the Fire.' So, a person from the Muslims asked, 'By what, O Messenger of Allah?' He ﷺ said, 'By good praise and bad praise, you are witnesses for each other.'"
14.23 [Machine] Abdullah ibn Ka'b ibn Malik about his uncle.
[Machine] That Ka'ab bin Al-Ashraf used to insult the Prophet ﷺ. So the Prophet ﷺ ordered Saad bin Muadh to send five people to him. They came to him while he was in a gathering with his people in Al-Awali. When he saw them, he got angry and asked, "What brings you here?" They said, "We have come to you with a need." He said, "Let each one of you come close to me and tell me about his need." Some of them approached him and said, "We have come to sell you some shields." He said, "By Allah, if you were to do so, then you would have done something meaningful since this man has made life difficult for you as soon as he arrived among you or as he said, 'among you'. So, make an appointment with him after a period of calm during the night." He added, "They went to him and he rose to meet them." His wife said to him, "What have they come to you for at this hour? It must be something that you desire." He replied, "They have informed me about their need." When they approached him, Abu 'Abs embraced him and Muhammad bin Maslamah came with a sword and struck him in the waist, killing him. In the morning, the Jews went to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Our leader has been killed unjustly." The Prophet ﷺ mentioned the things that Ka'ab used to say in his poetry, and how he used to harm him. Then the Prophet ﷺ summoned them and asked them to write a treaty between them and him. He said, "And that treaty remained with Ali."

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, a man freed a share of his slave, but the Prophet ﷺ did not approve of it. Ghundar, son of Thalib, said: "He (the Prophet) used the word Shu'bah (meaning stuttering) in relation to his tongue. And perhaps Ghundar did not understand the remaining part of the hadith of Ibn Wadi'ah Al-Ansari."

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Indeed, before the Hour, there will be trials like the dark night, and there will be trials like a piece of smoke. In these trials, a person's heart dies just as his body dies. In the morning, a person may be a believer, and by the evening, he becomes a disbeliever. And in the evening, a person may be a believer, and by the morning, he becomes a disbeliever. People will sell their religion and their morals for a small worldly gain. Verily, Yazid ibn Muawiyah has already died, and you are our brothers and our followers. So do not rush ahead of us in anything until we consult with ourselves."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent Amr ibn al-'As to Bahrain, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out on an expedition and we went out with him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell asleep and said, "May Allah have mercy on 'Amr." We then mentioned everyone whose name was 'Amr and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell asleep again and said, "May Allah have mercy on 'Amr." He fell asleep for the third time and woke up and said, "May Allah have mercy on 'Amr." We said, "O Messenger of Allah, who is this 'Amr?" He said, "Amr ibn al-'As." We asked, "What is his matter?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When I called upon the people to give charity, he came and gave a generous amount. So I said, 'O 'Amr, how did you acquire this?' He replied, 'From Allah.' And 'Amr was truthful, for he has much goodness with Allah." Zuhayr ibn Qays said, "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away, I said, 'I will adhere to the statement of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he said, 'He has much goodness with Allah' until I die."

[Machine] He said, "I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , then he left and saw a man praying alone behind the row. The Prophet ﷺ stood there until the man finished his prayer, then he said to him, 'Face your prayer, as there is no prayer for an individual behind the row.'"
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, Allah does not look at a man who does not keep his back straight in his bowing and prostration."
14.30 [Machine] The rest of the hadith of Amr ibn Taghlab.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave some people and prevented others, and it reached him that they complained. So he addressed the people, praised and glorified Allah, and said, "Verily, I give some people and withhold from others, and they complain about me. But I, indeed, love to give a man and others more than him, because I give them what is in their hearts of fear and distress. And I prevent a people because Allah has placed in their hearts richness and goodness." 'Amr ibn Taghlib said, "So what pleased me the most from the statement of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is 'Humar al-na'am'."
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'One of the portents of the Hour will be that wealth becomes widespread and abundant, and trade will become widespread, but knowledge will disappear. A man will try to sell something and will say: "No, not until I consult the merchant of banu so and so: and People will look throughout a vast area for a scribe and will not find one." (Sahih ) (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4456)
14.31 [Machine] The remaining conversation of Amr ibn Murrah al-Juhani.
[Machine] I was sitting next to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he said, "Whoever is sitting here with an intention to leave, then let them get up." So, I took hold of my garment to get up, but he said, "Sit down." Then he repeated, "Whoever is sitting here with an intention to leave, then let them get up." So, I took hold of my garment again to get up, but he said, "Sit down." And he repeated this for the third time. So, I asked, "Who are we, O Messenger of Allah?" He ﷺ said, "We are from the people of Hamyar."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever has something in their possession, should get up." So, I got up and he said, "Sit down." He did this three times and every time I got up, he told me to sit down. When the third time came, I asked, "Who are we, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "You are the people of Al-Qudaa'ah from Himyar." 'Amr then kept this narration hidden for twenty years.
[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah and that you are the Messenger of Allah. I have performed the five daily prayers, paid the obligatory charity (Zakat), and fasted the month of Ramadan." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever dies upon this will be with the Prophets, the truthful ones, and the martyrs on the Day of Resurrection." He raised his index and middle fingers, indicating this, as long as his parents are not disbelievers.
"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'No Imam closes his door on one in need, dire straits and poverty, except that Allah closes the gates of the Heavens from his dire straits, his needs, and his poverty.' So Mu'awiyah appointed a man to look after the needs of the people." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1332)
14.32 [Machine] The rest of the conversation of Umayr, the servant of Abu Lahab
[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at the olive trees, raising his hands, seeking rain.
[Machine] "I used to tend to the army, and I suffered from a personal problem, so I mentioned it to some companions of the Prophet ﷺ. They guided me to a wall belonging to some of the Ansar, and I cut a piece from it. Then they took me to the Prophet ﷺ, and I informed him of my need. He gave me one piece of cloth and returned the rest to its owners."
[Machine] So, I came to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him. He asked me, "Why did you hit him?" I said, "I fed him without ordering him to do so." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The reward is between you two."
14.33 [Machine] The remaining dialogue of Farwah bin Musayk Al-Ghataifi.
[Machine] I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, it brought destruction upon the people and the families." He (the Prophet) said, "Verily, it is better for those among you who fear Allah."
[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I heard a man say, "O Messenger of Allah, is Sabaa' (a region) an earth or a woman?" He said, "It is neither an earth nor a woman, but rather a man who had ten sons from the Arabs. Four of them are among the people of Tishaamah (Syria) and six of them are among the people of Yemen. As for those among the people of Tishaamah, they are 'Aak, Lakhm, Ghassaan, and 'Aamilah. And as for those among the people of Yemen, they are Azd, Kindah, Madh-hij, Himyar, Ash'ariyyoon, and Anmaar." A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, who are Anmaar?" He said, "Among them are Khath'am and Bajee'lah."
[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, shall I fight against my people from behind them?" He said, "Yes, fight against them from behind." Then, when I was appointed, he invited me and said, "Do not fight them until you invite them to Islam." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about Saba'? Is it a valley or a woman? Is it a mountain?" He said, "No, it is a man from the Arabs. He has ten boys, six of whom follow Azd, Ash'ariyun, Himyar, Kindah, Mazhij, and the Anmar, also known as Bajilyah and Khas'aam. But he is a man who was born with ten boys, six of whom follow Azd and embrace Islam, while the other four are Khas'aam, Jutham, Ghassan, and 'Amilah." Then he said to me, "Abdullah told us, and Khalaf ibn Hisham told us, and Abu Usamah told me, and Al Hasan ibn Hakam Nakh'iy told us, and Abu Sabra Nakh'iy told us, and Fruwah ibn Musayk Al Ghutayfi told us, and then Al Muradi told us that I came to the Prophet (PBUH) and mentioned its meaning."

Then it became clear to me, so I said, "O Messenger of Allah, rather it is the people of Saba' who are the most powerful and strong." He commanded me, and gave me permission.

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

14.34 [Machine] Yazid ibn Rukana Al-Qurashi
[Machine] He divorced his wife, Batteh, and mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet asked, "What did you intend by that?" He replied, "To divorce her once." The Prophet exclaimed, "By Allah?" He responded, "By Allah." The Prophet said, "That is what you intended."
