adab:91 –

Abu Hurayra said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ kissed Hasan ibn 'Ali while al-Aqra' ibn Habis at-Tamimi was sitting with him. Al-Aqra' observed, 'I have ten children and I have never kissed any of them.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at him and said, 'Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.'"

bukhari:5997 – Abū al-Yamān > Shuʿayb > al-Zuhrī > Abū Salamah b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman > Abū Hurayrah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ kissed al-Hasan b. Ali while al-Aqra‘ b. Habis al-Tamimi was sitting with him. al-Aqra‘ said, “I have ten children and I have not kissed any of them.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at him and then said, “Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.”

البخاري:٥٩٩٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ

I have ten children, but I have never kissed any one of them, whereupon Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He who does not show mercy (towards his children), no mercy would be shown to him.

I have ten children and I have never kissed any of them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He who does not show tenderness will not be shown tenderness.

أبو داود:٥٢١٨ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ الأَقْرَعَ بْنَ حَابِسٍ أَبْصَرَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُقَبِّلُ حُسَيْنًا فَقَالَ إِنَّ لِي عَشْرَةً مِنَ الْوَلَدِ مَا فَعَلْتُ هَذَا بِوَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ لاَ يَرْحَمُ لاَ يُرْحَمُ

tirmidhi:1911 – Ibn Abū ʿUmar And Saʿīd b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman > Sufyān > al-Zuhrī > Abū Salamah > Abū Hurayrah

"Al-Aqra' bin Habis saw the prophet kissing Al-Hasan"- Ibn Abi 'Umar (one of the narrators) said:"Al-Hasan and Al-Husain." So he said: 'I have ten children and I do not kiss any one of them.' So the Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever shows no mercy, he will be shown no mercy."

الترمذي:١٩١١ – حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَعَائِشَةَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ اسْمُهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
