"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There are two qualities which no Muslim person attains but he will enter Paradise, and they are easy, but those who do them are few.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The five daily prayers: After each prayer one of you glorifies Allah (SWT) ten times and praises Him ten times and magnifies him ten times, which makes one hundred and fifty on the tongue and one thousand five hundred in the balance.' And I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ counting them on his hands. 'And when one of you retires to his bed he says the tasbih thirty-three times and the tahmid thirty-three times and the takbir thirty-four times, that is one hundred on the tongue and one thousand in the balance.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "So which of you does two thousand five hundred bad deeds in a day and a night?" It was said: "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, how can a person not persist in doing that?" He said: "The Shaitan comes to one of you when he is praying and says: 'Remember such and such, remember such and such," or he comes to him when he is in bed and makes him fall asleep."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَلَّتَانِ لاَ يُحْصِيهِمَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ إِلاَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَهُمَا يَسِيرٌ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهِمَا قَلِيلٌ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الصَّلَوَاتُ الْخَمْسُ يُسَبِّحُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ عَشْرًا وَيَحْمَدُ عَشْرًا وَيُكَبِّرُ عَشْرًا فَهِيَ خَمْسُونَ وَمِائَةٌ فِي اللِّسَانِ وَأَلْفٌ وَخَمْسُمِائَةٍ فِي الْمِيزَانِ وَأَنَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَعْقِدُهُنَّ بِيَدِهِ وَإِذَا أَوَى أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ أَوْ مَضْجَعِهِ سَبَّحَ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَحَمِدَ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلاَثِينَ فَهِيَ مِائَةٌ عَلَى اللِّسَانِ وَأَلْفٌ فِي الْمِيزَانِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَيُّكُمْ يَعْمَلُ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ أَلْفَيْنِ وَخَمْسَمِائَةِ سَيِّئَةٍ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَكَيْفَ لاَ نُحْصِيهِمَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْتِي أَحَدَكُمْ وَهُوَ فِي صَلاَتِهِ فَيَقُولُ اذْكُرْ كَذَا اذْكُرْ كَذَا وَيَأْتِيهِ عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ فَيُنِيمُهُ  

The Prophet ﷺ said: There are two qualities or characteristics which will not be returned by any Muslim without his entering Paradise. While they are easy, those who act upon them are few. One should say: "Glory be to Allah" ten times after every prayer, "Praise be to Allah" ten times and "Allah is Most Great" ten times. That is a hundred and fifty on the tongue, but one thousand and five hundred on the scale. When he goes to bed, he should say: "Allah is Most Great" thirty-four times, "Praise be to Allah" thirty-three times, and Glory be to Allah thirty-three times, for that is a hundred on the tongue and a thousand on the scale. (He said:) I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ counting them on his hand. The people asked: Messenger of Allah! How is it that while they are easy, those who act upon them are few? He replied: The Devil comes to one of you when he goes to bed and he makes him sleep, before he utters them, and he comes to him while he is engaged in prayer and calls a need to his mind before he utters them.  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ خَصْلَتَانِ أَوْ خَلَّتَانِ لاَ يُحَافِظُ عَلَيْهِمَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ إِلاَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ هُمَا يَسِيرٌ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهِمَا قَلِيلٌ يُسَبِّحُ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ عَشْرًا وَيَحْمَدُ عَشْرًا وَيُكَبِّرُ عَشْرًا فَذَلِكَ خَمْسُونَ وَمِائَةٌ بِاللِّسَانِ وَأَلْفٌ وَخَمْسُمِائَةٍ فِي الْمِيزَانِ وَيُكَبِّرُ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلاَثِينَ إِذَا أَخَذَ مَضْجَعَهُ وَيَحْمَدُ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَيُسَبِّحُ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ فَذَلِكَ مِائَةٌ بِاللِّسَانِ وَأَلْفٌ فِي الْمِيزَانِ فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَعْقِدُهَا بِيَدِهِ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ هُمَا يَسِيرٌ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهِمَا قَلِيلٌ قَالَ يَأْتِي أَحَدَكُمْ يَعْنِي الشَّيْطَانَ فِي مَنَامِهِ فَيُنَوِّمُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُولَهُ وَيَأْتِيهِ فِي صَلاَتِهِ فَيُذَكِّرُهُ حَاجَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُولَهَا  

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘There are two characteristics which no Muslim man acquires but he will enter Paradise. They are easy but those who do them are few. At the end of every prayer he should glorify Allah (by saying Subhan Allah) ten times, extol Him (by saying Allahu Akbar) ten times, and praise Him (by saying Al-Hamdu Lillah) ten times.’ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ counting them on his hand. ‘That is one hundred and fifty (after all the prayers of the day) on the tongue, and one thousand and five hundred on the Scale. And when he goes to his bed, let him glorify Allah and praise Him and extol Him one hundred times. That will be one hundred on the tongue and one thousand on the Scale. Who among you does two thousand and five hundred evil actions in one day?’ They said: ‘Who would not be keen to do that?’ He said: ‘But the Shaitan comes to anyone of you while he is performing prayer and says: ‘Remember such and such, remember such and such,” until the person becomes distracted and does not understand (what he is saying). And he comes to him when he is in his bed, and makes him sleepy such that he sleeps.’”  

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَصْلَتَانِ لاَ يُحْصِيهِمَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ إِلاَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَهُمَا يَسِيرٌ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهِمَا قَلِيلٌ يُسَبِّحُ اللَّهَ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ عَشْرًا وَيُكَبِّرُ عَشْرًا وَيَحْمَدُهُ عَشْرًا فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَعْقِدُهَا بِيَدِهِ فَذَلِكَ خَمْسُونَ وَمِائَةٌ بِاللِّسَانِ وَأَلْفٌ وَخَمْسُمِائَةٍ فِي الْمِيزَانِ وَإِذَا أَوَى إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ سَبَّحَ وَحَمِدَ وَكَبَّرَ مِائَةً فَتِلْكَ مِائَةٌ بِاللِّسَانِ وَأَلْفٌ فِي الْمِيزَانِ فَأَيُّكُمْ يَعْمَلُ فِي الْيَوْمِ أَلْفَيْنِ وَخَمْسَمِائَةِ سَيِّئَةٍ قَالُوا وَكَيْفَ لاَ يُحْصِيهِمَا قَالَ يَأْتِي أَحَدَكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَيَقُولُ اذْكُرْ كَذَا وَكَذَا حَتَّى يَنْفَكَّ الْعَبْدُ لاَ يَعْقِلُ وَيَأْتِيهِ وَهُوَ فِي مَضْجَعِهِ فَلاَ يَزَالُ يُنَوِّمُهُ حَتَّى يَنَامَ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are two habits, whoever preserves them will enter Paradise while still being a little effort. And whoever practices them only occasionally, they say, 'What are those two things, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'To praise Allah, to glorify Him, and to exalt Him ten times after every obligatory prayer. And when you go to sleep, glorify Allah, exalt Him, and praise Him one hundred times. That adds up to fifty times in speech, two thousand and five hundred times on the scales. So which one of you does deeds in a day and a night that is equal to two thousand and five hundred sins?' They said, 'How can someone practice them only occasionally?' He said, 'The devil comes to one of you during their prayer, reminding them of a need or something else, so they should not say it. And he comes to them while they are asleep and makes them fall asleep, so they should not say it. I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ holding them in his hand."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَلَّتَانِ مَنْ حَافَظَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَدْخَلَتَاهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَهُمَا يَسِيرٌ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهِمَا قَلِيلٌ قَالُوا وَمَا هُمَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ أَنْ تَحْمَدَ اللهَ وَتُكَبِّرَهُ وَتُسَبِّحَهُ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ مَكْتُوبَةٍ عَشْرًا عَشْرًا وَإِذَا أَوَيْتَ إِلَى مَضْجَعِكَ تُسَبِّحُ اللهَ وَتُكَبِّرُهُ وَتَحْمَدُهُ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ فَتِلْكَ خَمْسُونَ وَمِائَتَانِ بِاللِّسَانِ وَأَلْفَانِ وَخَمْسُ مِائَةٍ فِي الْمِيزَانِ فَأَيُّكُمْ يَعْمَلُ فِي الْيَوْمِ وَاللَّيْلَةِ أَلْفَيْنِ وَخَمْسَ مِائَةِ سَيِّئَةٍ؟ قَالُوا كَيْفَ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهِمَا قَلِيلٌ؟ قَالَ يَجِيءُ أَحَدَكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَيُذَكِّرُهُ حَاجَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَلَا يَقُولُهَا وَيَأْتِيهِ عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ فَيُنَوِّمُهُ فَلَا يَقُولُهَا قَالَ وَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَعْقِدُهُنَّ بِيَدِهِ  

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "There are two qualities or habits that no Muslim man preserves except that he enters Paradise with ease. And whoever acts upon them in a limited manner, Allah will be glorified ten times, praised ten times, and magnified ten times after every prayer. That is a hundred and fifty times with the tongue and a thousand and five hundred in the scales. And you will glorify Allah thirty-three times, praise Allah thirty-three times, and magnify Allah thirty-four times. It is a charity the reward of which is not known, amounting to thirty-four with the tongue and a thousand in the scales. So, who among you will do two thousand five hundred evil deeds in a day?" They said, "O Messenger of Allah, how are they easy and who acts upon them in a limited manner?" He said, "When one of you finishes their prayer, Shaytan comes and reminds him of a need, such and such, and he gets up without saying it. Then, when he lies down, Shaytan comes to him and makes him fall asleep before saying it. I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ clasp it in his hand." Abdullah Ibn Ahmad said, "I heard Ubaidullah Al-Qawariyy say that he heard Hammad bin Zaid say, 'Ata bin As-Sa'ib from Basra came to us and he said, 'Ask him about the hadith of Tasbih.' He meant this hadith."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ خَصْلَتَانِ أَوْخَلَّتَانِ لَا يُحَافِظُ عَلَيْهِمَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ إِلَّا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ هُمَا يَسِيرٌ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهِمَا قَلِيلٌ تُسَبِّحُ اللهَ عَشْرًا وَتَحْمَدُ اللهَ عَشْرًا وَتُكَبِّرُ اللهَ عَشْرًا فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ فَذَلِكَ مِائَةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ بِاللِّسَانِ وَأَلْفٌ وَخَمْسُ مِائَةٍ فِي الْمِيزَانِ وَتُسَبِّحُ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَتَحْمَدُ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَتُكَبِّرُ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ عَطَاءٌ لَا يَدْرِي أَيَّتُهُنَّ أَرْبَعٌ وَثَلَاثُونَ إِذَا أَخَذَ مَضْجَعَهُ فَذَلِكَ مِائَةٌ بِاللِّسَانِ وَأَلْفٌ فِي الْمِيزَانِ فَأَيُّكُمْ يَعْمَلُ فِي الْيَوْمِ أَلْفَيْنِ وَخَمْسَ مِائَةِ سَيِّئَةٍ؟ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كَيْفَ هُمَا يَسِيرٌ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهِمَا قَلِيلٌ؟ قَالَ يَأْتِي أَحَدَكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ فَيُذَكِّرُهُ حَاجَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَيَقُومُ وَلَا يَقُولُهَا فَإِذَا اضْطَجَعَ يَأْتِيهِ الشَّيْطَانُ فَيُنَوِّمُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُولَهَا فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَعْقِدُهُنَّ فِي يَدِهِ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ [بْنُ أَحْمَدَ] سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللهِ الْقَوَارِيرِيَّ سَمِعْتُ حَمَّادَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ يَقُولُ قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ الْبَصْرَةَفَقَالَ لَنَا أَيُّوبُ ائْتُوهُ فَاسْأَلُوهُ عَنْ حَدِيثِ التَّسْبِيحِ؟ يَعْنِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «خُلَّتَانِ لَا يُحْصِيهُمَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ إِلَّا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَهُمَا يَسِيرٌ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ بِهِمَا قَلِيلٌ» قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الصَّلَوَاتُ الْخَمْسُ يُسَبِّحُ اللهَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ عَشْرًا وَيَحْمَدُ عَشْرًا وَيُكَبِّرُ عَشْرًا فَهِيَ خَمْسُونَ وَمِائَةٌ عَلَى اللِّسَانِ وَأَلْفٌ وَخَمْسُمِائَةٌ فِي الْمِيزَانِ» فَأَنَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَعْقِدُهُنَّ بِيَدِهِ «فَإِذَا أَوَى أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ أَوْ مَضْجَعِهِ سَبَّحَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَحَمِدَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ فَهِيَ مِائَةٌ عَلَى اللِّسَانِ وَأَلْفٌ فِي الْمِيزَانِ» قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «فَأَيُّكُمْ يَعْمَلُ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ بِأَلْفَيْنِ وَخَمْسُمِائَةِ سَيِّئَةٍ» قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَكَيْفَ لَا نُحْصِيهُمَا؟ قَالَ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْتِي أَحَدَكُمْ وَهُوَ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَيَقُولُ اذْكُرْ كَذَا اذْكُرْ كَذَا وَيَأْتِيهِ عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ فَيُنِيمُهُ  

"خصلتان لَا يُحافِظُ عليهما عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ إِلَّا دَخَلَ الجَنَّةَ، أَلَا وهما يَسِيرٌ، وَمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهِمَا قَلِيلٌ: يُسَبِّحُ اللَّه في دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاة عَشْرًا وَيَحْمَدُه عَشْرًا، وَيُكَبِّرُهُ

عَشْرًا، فَذَلِكَ خَمْسُونَ ومائةٌ باللسَّانِ وَأَلْفٌ وَخَمْسُمِائِةِ فِى الميزَانِ، ويكبِّرُ أَربَعًا وثلاثين إِذا أَخذ مَضْجَعَهُ، وَيَحْمَدُه ثَلاثًا وثَلاثينَ، وَيُسَبِّحُ ثَلاثًا وثلاثين، فتلك مِائَةٌ باللسان وأَلفٌ في الميزان، فَأَيُّكم يَعْمَل في اليوم والليلة أَلفين وخمَسَمائة سَيئَةِ؟ قالوا: يَا رسولَ اللَّه، كيفَ هما يَسيرٌ وَمَنْ يعملُ بِهِما قَلِيلٌ؟ قال: يأتى أَحَدَكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ في مَنَامِهِ فَيُنَوِّمهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يقولَها، وَيَأتيه في صَلاِتِهِ فَيُذَكِّرُه حَاجَةً قَبْلَ أَن يقولها".  

"عَن عَبْد الله بْنِ عَمْرو عَنِ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ قَالَ: خصْلَتَان أَوْ قَالَ خلَّتَان لاَ يُحافظُ عَليهِمَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِم إِلاَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَهُمَا يَسِير وَمَنْ يَعْمَل بهِمَا قَليلٌ يُسَبحُ الله عَشْرًا، وَيَحْمدُه عَشْرًا، وَيَكْبَره عَشْرًا فِى دُبِرِ كُلِّ صَلاَة، فَذَلَكَ مائَةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ باللسَانِ وَأَلفٌ وَخمْسمائِة فِى الْمِيزَان، وَيُسَبحُ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَيحمد ثَلَاثًا وَثَلاَثينَ، ويُكبِّرُ أَربَعًا وَثَلاَثِينَ، إِذَا أَخَذَ مَضْجعهُ، فَذَلِكَ مِائَةٌ باللِّسان، وَألَفٌ في الْميزَان، وَفِى لَفظٍ، فَذَلِكَ خَمْسُونَ وَمَائَتَا حَسَنَة، فَإِذا اضعفنَ كَانَتْ أَلفَيْن وَخمْسمائَةٍ، فَأَيُّكُمْ يَعْمَل فِى يَوْمِه وَلَيْلَتهِ أَلَفينِ وَخمْسمائَةِ سيئةٍ قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ الله كَيْفَ هُمَا يَسيرٌ، وَمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهمَا قَلِيلٌ؟ ، قَالَ: يَأَتى الشَّيْطانُ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا فَرغَ مِنْ صَلاَتهِ فَيَذْكُر حَاجَة كَذَا وَكذَا، فَيَقُومُ لاَ يَقُولها وَإِذَا اضْطَجَع يَأتِيهِ الشَّيْطَانُ فَيُنَوِّمُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُولها، فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ يَعْقدهُنَّ فِى يَدِهِ".
