The Prophet ﷺ said: Command a boy to pray when he reaches the age of seven years. When he becomes ten years old, then beat him for prayer.

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مُرُوا الصَّبِيَّ بِالصَّلاَةِ إِذَا بَلَغَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ وَإِذَا بَلَغَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ فَاضْرِبُوهُ عَلَيْهَا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When a boy reaches the age of seven, he is commanded to perform prayers. And when he reaches the age of ten, discipline should be enforced for it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا بَلَغَ الْغُلَامُ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ أُمِرَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَإِذَا بَلَغَ عَشْرًا ضُرِبَ عَلَيْهَا

[Machine] The messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Command your children to pray when they reach the age of seven, and discipline them for it when they reach the age of ten, and separate their sleeping arrangements."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مُرُوا صِبْيَانَكُمْ بِالصَّلَاةِإِذَا بَلَغُوا سَبْعًا وَاضْرِبُوهُمْ عَلَيْهَا إِذَا بَلَغُوا عَشْرًا وَفَرِّقُوا بَيْنَهُمْ فِي الْمَضَاجِعِ

Messenger of Allah (S) said: "Teach the boy Salat when he is seven years old, and beat him (if he does not pray) when he is ten." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 407)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «عَلِّمُوا الصَّبِيَّ الصَّلَاةَ ابْنَ سَبْعِ سِنِينَ وَاضْرِبُوهُ عَلَيْهَا ابْنَ عَشْرٍ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «عَلِّمُوا الصَّبِيَّ الصَّلَاةَ ابْنَ سَبْعِ سِنِينَ وَاضْرِبُوهُ عَلَيْهَا ابْنَ عَشْرٍ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a boy reaches the age of seven, teach him prayers, and when he reaches ten, discipline him for not performing them."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا بَلَغَ الْغُلَامُ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ فَمُرُوهُ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَإِذَا بَلَغَ عَشْرًا فَاضْرِبُوهُ عَلَيْهَا»

"إذا بَلَغَ الغلامُ سَبْعَ سِنينَ فأْمروهُ بالصَّلاةِ، فاذَا بلغَ عَشْرًا فاضْربوه عليها.

["مُرُوا الصَّبيَّ بالصَّلاةِ إِذَا بلَغ سَبع سِنِينَ] (*)، وإذَا بَلَغَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ فَاضْربُوه عَلَيهَا".
