[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said while we were with him, "Blessings upon Syria." We asked, "Why, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Verily, the Most Merciful has spread His mercy upon it."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ عَنْدَهُ «طُوبَى لِلشَّامِ» فَقُلْنَا مَا بَالُهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «إِنَّ الرَّحْمَنَ لَبَاسِطٌ رَحْمَتَهُ عَلَيْهِ»
[Machine] While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , we were compiling the Qur'an from pieces of parchment. He said, "Glad tidings for Sham!" It was asked, "Why, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Verily, the angels of the Most Merciful are spreading their wings over it."
بَيْنَا نَحْنُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ نُؤَلِّفُ الْقُرْآنَ مِنَ الرِّقَاعِ إِذْ قَالَ طُوبَى لِلشَّامِ قِيلَ وَلِمَ ذَلِكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ إِنَّ مَلَائِكَةَ الرَّحْمَنِ بَاسِطَةٌ أَجْنِحَتَهَا عَلَيْهَا
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said one day while we were with him, "Blessings be upon the Sham (region)." He said, "Indeed, the angels of the Most Merciful spread their wings over it."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا وَنَحْنُ عِنْدَهُ «طُوبَى لِلشَّامِ» قَالَ «إِنَّ مَلَائِكَةَ الرَّحْمَنِ لَبَاسِطَةٌ أَجْنِحَتَهَا عَلَيْهِ»
"عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ وَنَحْنُ عِنْدَهُ: طُوبَى لِلشَّامِ، قُلْنَا: مَا نَالَهُ يَا رَسُولَ الله؟ قَالَ: إِنَّ الرَّحْمنَ لَبَاسِطٌ رَحْمَتَهُ عَلَيْهِ".
"طُوبى لِلشَّام, إنَّ الرَّحْمَن لبَاسِطُ رَحْمَتَه عَليهِ".
