أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ

[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about fasting, and he said, "Fast three days every month." I said, "I am able to do more than that." Then he said, "Fast three days every month." I said, "I am able to do more than that." Then he said, "Fast as the fasting of Prophet David: fast one day and break fast one day."  

الطبراني:٣١٢٣ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ حُرَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي مَطَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّوْمِ فَقَالَ «صُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ» قُلْتُ إِنِّي أُطِيقُ حَتَّى نَازَلَنِي ثُمَّ قَالَ «صُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ» قُلْتُ إِنِّي أُطِيقُ حَتَّى نَازَلَنِي ثُمَّ قَالَ «صُمْ صِيَامَ دَاوُدَ صُمْ يَوْمًا وَأَفْطِرْ يَوْمًا»

سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّوْمِ؟ فَقَالَ «صُمْ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ يَوْمًا» قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَقْوَى قَالَ «صُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ» قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ زِدْنِي قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «زِدْنِي زِدْنِي صُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ»

"سَأَلْتُ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّوْمِ؟ فَقَالَ: صُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ، قُلْتُ: إِنى أَطِيقُ حَتَّى نَاوَلَنِى، ثُمَّ قَالَ: صُمْ صِيَامَ دَاوُدَ، صُمْ يَوْمًا وَأَفْطِرْ يَوْمًا".
