٢١۔ بَابُ الْفَاءِ ص ٤

فَرْوَةُ بْنُ مِسِّيكٍ الْمُرَادِيُّ

[Machine] He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the people of Saba, so he said, "O Messenger of Allah, who are the people of Saba? Are they men, mountains, or valleys?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No, rather they are a man who had ten children. Four of them were penitent and six of them were righteous. The penitent ones are Lahm, Judham, 'Amilah, and Ghassan. The righteous ones are Tayy, Hamyar, Muzhir, Azd, Kindah, Ash'ariyyun, and the Anmar of Bajilah."  

الطبراني:١٥٩٨٩حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الْعَدَنِيُّ ثَنَا فَرَجُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبْيَضَ بْنِ حَمَّالٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي ثَابِتُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ فَرْوَةَ بْنَ مِسِّيكٍ الْمُرَادِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ سَبَأٍ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا سَبَأٌ؟ أَرَجُلٌ أَمْ جَبَلٌ أَمْ وَادٍ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا بَلْ رَجُلٌ وَلَدَ عَشَرَةَ فَتَشَاءَمَ أَرْبَعَةٌ وَتَيَامَنَ سِتَّةٌ تَشَاءَمَ لَخْمٌ وَجُذَامُ وَعَامِلَةُ وَغَسَّانُ وَتَيَامَنَ حِمْيَرُ وَمَذْحِجٌ وَالْأَزْدُ وَكِنْدَةُ وَالْأَشْعَرِيُّونَ وَأنْمَارٌ الَّتِي مِنْهَا بَجِيلَةُ»

[Machine] "I came to the Prophet ﷺ in winter and I found them praying while wearing fur and woolen garments, with their hands covered in them."  

الطبراني:١٦٠١٢حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى زَحْمَوَيْهِ ثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ خَالِهِ قَالَ

«أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي الشِّتَاءِ فَوَجَدْتُهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ فِي الْبَرَانِسِ وَالأَكْسِيَةِ وَأَيْدِيَهِمْ فِيهَا»

[Machine] That his grandfather, Fudayk, came to the Prophet ﷺ and the Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Establish prayer, pay Zakah, abandon evil, and live among your people wherever you like."  

الطبراني:١٦٠١٣حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ القَيْصَرَانِيُّ ثَنَا فُدَيْكُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ بَشِيرِ بْنِ فُدَيْكٍ

أَنَّ جَدَّهُ فُدَيْكًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ وَائْتِ الزَّكَاةَ واهْجُرِ السُّوءَ وَاسْكُنْ بَيْنَ أَرْضِ قَوْمِكَ حَيْثُ شِئْتَ»  

21.2 [Machine] The virtue of Al-Abbas ibn Abdul Muttalib and his mother: Umm Al-Fadl, and her name: Lubabah bint Al-Harith ibn Hazn ibn Bujayr ibn Al-Haram ibn Ruwaybah ibn Abdullah ibn Hilal ibn Amir ibn Sa'sa'ah or Umm Al-Fadl bint Amr ibn Ka'b

٢١۔٢ فَضْلُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ وَأُمُّهُ: أُمُّ الْفَضْلِ، وَاسْمُهَا: لُبَابَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ حَزْنِ بْنِ بُجَيْرِ بْنِ الْهَرَمِ بْنِ رُوَيْبَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ أَوْ أُمُّ الْفَضْلِ بِنْتُ عَمْرِو بْنِ كَعْبٍ "

[Machine] He came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "What is permissible for us from the dead (animal)?" He said: "What is your food?" He said: "We lie in wait and hunt." He said: "That is the prey (for you)."

Abu Nu'aim explained to me after Uqbah that it means a handful in the evening and a handful in the morning.  

الطبراني:١٥٩٨٠حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ وَهْبِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ الْعَامِرِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الْفُجَيْعِ الْعَامِرِيِّ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ مَا يَحِلُّ لَنَا مِنَ الْمَيْتَةِ؟ فَقَالَ «مَا طَعَامُكُمْ؟» قَالَ نَغْتَبِقُ وَنَصْطَبِحُ قَالَ «ذَاكَ الْجُوعُ» فَأَحَلَّ لَهُمُ الْمَيْتَةَ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَالِ قَالَ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ فَسَّرَهُ لِي عُقْبَةُ قَالَ قَدَحٌ عَشِيَّةً وَقَدَحٌ غُدْوَةً

[Machine] Abdul Malik ibn Ata Al-Amiri Al-Bakka'i brought to us a book from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ for them. He said to us, "Write it down for us," and he did not dictate it to us. He claimed that Ibn Bint Al-Fujai' had informed him that this is a book from Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , for Al-Fujai. "And whoever follows it has embraced Islam, and whoever establishes the prayer, gives the compulsory charity, obeys Allah and His Messenger, and gives one-fifth of the booty, then he has aided the Prophet of Allah and testified to his Islam, and he has separated from the polytheists, for he believes in the security of Allah and Muhammad."  

الطبراني:١٥٩٨١حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ قَالَ

أَخْرَجَ إِلَيْنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ الْعَامِرِيُّ الْبَكَّائِيُّ كِتَابًا مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَهُمْ فَقَالَ لَنَا اكْتُبُوهُ وَلَمْ يُمْلِهِ عَلَيْنَا زَعَمَ أَنَّ ابْنَ بِنْتِ الْفُجَيْعِ حَدَّثَهُ هَذَا كِتَابٌ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لِلْفُجَيْعِ «وَمَنْ تَبِعَهُ أَسْلَمَ وَمَنْ أَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطَاعَ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَأَعْطَى مِنَ الْمَغْنَمِ خُمُسَهُ وَنَصَرَ نَبِيَّ اللهِ وَأَشْهَدَ عَلَى إِسْلَامِهِ وَفَارَقَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَإِنَّهُ آمِنٌ بِأَمَانِ اللهِ وَمُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ»

[Machine] Furat bin Hayyan was a companion of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . The Prophet had ordered for his execution. Furat was a close associate of Abu Sufyan and an ally to him. He passed by a group of the Ansar (Muslims from Medina) and said, "I am a Muslim." One of them replied, "O Messenger of Allah, he claims to be a Muslim." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Amongst you, there are some individuals who openly show their faith to me, and Furat bin Hayyan is one of them."  

الطبراني:١٥٩٨٢حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثَنَا أَبُو هَمَّامٍ الدَّلَّالُ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ

عَنْ فُرَاتِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ وَكَانَ عَيْنًا لِأَبِي سُفْيَانَ وَحَلِيفًا فَمَرَّ عَلَى حَلْقَةٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي مُسْلِمٌ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْهُم يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ يَقُولُ إِنِّي مُسْلِمٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ مِنْكُمْ رِجَالًا يُظْهِرُ إِلَيَّ إِيمَانَهُمْ مِنْهُمُ الْفُرَاتُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ»

[Machine] He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the oaths of ignorance, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Perhaps you ask about the oath of Lakhm and Tameem?" He said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Islam only increases in strength."  

الطبراني:١٥٩٨٣حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُؤْمِنِ ثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْمَازِنِيُّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ فُرَاتِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الْعِجْلِيِّ

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ حِلْفِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَعَلَّكَ تَسْأَلُ عَنْ حَلِيفِ لَخْمٍ وَتَمِيمٍ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «لَا يَزِيدُ الْإِسْلَامُ إِلَّا شِدَّةً»

[Machine] He said, "I would not have come before you if you were older and had migrated earlier, and the mosque is your mosque." Furat said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say something about you, I will never surpass you." Banu Ajlan said, "Did you witness it when he sent me to Ta'if and I came back with a specific news?" He said, "Yes." Hanthalah then stepped forward and led the prayers with them. Furat said, "O Banu Ajlan, I only came forward because the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to Ta'if and he came and informed him of the news, and he said, 'You spoke the truth, go back to your home, for you have witnessed the night.' When he left, he said to us, 'Bring him and his likes.'"  

الطبراني:١٥٩٨٤حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الفَسَوِيُّ قَالَا ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يُونُسَ أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْمُسْتَمْلِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ وَزَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ قَالَا ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ قَالَا ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُرَقَّعٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ قَالَ انْطَلَقْنَا مَعَ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ فُرَاتِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ فَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَقَالَ لَهُ تَقَدَّمْ فَقَالَ

لَهُ مَا كُنْتُ لِأَتَقَدَّمُكَ وَأَنْتَ أَكْبَرُ مِنِّي سِنًّا وَأَقْدَمُ هِجْرَةً وَالْمَسْجِدُ مَسْجِدُكَ فَقَالَ فُرَاتٌ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِيكَ شَيْئًا لَا أَتَقَدَّمُكَ أَبَدًا قَالَ أَشْهِدْتَهُ يَوْمَ أَتَيْتُهُ بِالطَّائِفِ فَبَعَثَنِي عَيْنًا؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَتَقَدَّمَ حَنْظَلَةُ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ فَقَالَ فُرَاتٌ يَا بَنِي عَجْلَانَ إِنَّمَا قَدَّمْتُ هَذَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَعَثَهُ عَيْنًا إِلَى الطَّائِفِ فَجَاءَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ الْخَبَرَ فَقَالَ صَدَقْتَ ارْجِعْ إِلَى مَنْزِلِكَ فَإِنَّكَ قَدْ شَهِدْتَ اللَّيْلَةَ فَلَمَّا وَلَّى قَالَ لَنَا «ائْتَمُّوا بِهَذَا وَأَشْبَاهِهِ»

[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, should I fight those who attack from my people, or should I fight those who retreat from them?" He said, "Yes." So when they retreated, he called them and said, "Invite them to Islam, and if they refuse, then fight them." Then, I said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell me about Saba, is it a man or a woman?" He said, "Saba is a man from the Arabs. He had ten sons from them, six of whom were Tayy, and four were Tasham. As for those who were Tayy, they included Azd, Kindah, Madhij, Ashariyyun, Himyar, and Anmar, among whom is Bajilah. As for those who were Tasham, they included Amilah, Ghassan, Lakhm, and Judham."  

الطبراني:١٥٩٨٥حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ حُبَابٍ ثَنَا أَبُو هَمَّامٍ الدَّلَّالُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَبَّبٍ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي جَنَابٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ هَانِي عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ مِسِّيكٍ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أُقَاتِلُ بِمَنْ أَقْبَلَ مِنْ قَوْمِي مَنْ أَدْبَرَ مِنْهُمْ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» فَلَمَّا أَدْبَرَ دَعَاهُ فَقَالَ «أَدْعُهُمْ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ فَإِنْ أَبَوْا فَقَاتِلْهُمْ» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَأَخْبِرْنِي عَنْ سَبَأٍ أَرَجُلٌ هُوَ أَمْ امْرَأَةٌ هِيَ؟ قَالَ «هُوَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ وَلَدَ عَشَرَةً تَيَامَنَ مِنْهُمْ سِتَّةٌ وَتَشَاءَمَ مِنْهُمْ أَرْبَعَةٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ تَيَامَنُوا فَالْأَزْدُ وَكِنْدَةُ وَمَذْحِجٌ وَالْأَشْعَرِيُّونَ وَحِمْيَرُ وَأنْمَارٌ مِنْهُمْ بَجِيلَةُ وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ تَشَاءَمُوا فَعَامِلَةُ وَغَسَّانُ وَلَخْمٌ وَجُذَامُ»  

tabarani:15986Jaʿfar b. Muḥammad al-Firyābī > Abū Jaʿfar al-Nufaylī > ʿAbbād b. Kathīr al-Ramlī > Thawr b. Yazīd > al-Barāʾ b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman > Farwah b. Missīk

[Machine] He came to the Prophet (saw) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, we have a neighbor from Saba, people of honor, wealth, and power. Grant me permission to invite them to Islam, and if they refuse, grant me permission to fight them with my people, and whoever obeys me, grant him permission." Then the Messenger of Allah (saw) appeared to him and said, "You have mentioned some matters regarding the people of Saba that I have not mentioned. Invite them to Islam, and if they respond, accept them and refrain from harming them. And if they refuse, do not confront them until I give you further instructions." He then asked, "O Messenger of Allah, is Saba a land or a woman?" He replied, "It is neither a land nor a woman, but rather a man who had ten tribes, six from Tiyamah and four from Tashaam. The Yemenis, the Azd, the Kindah, the Himyar, and the Ashariyyun, and the Anmar." A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, who are the Anmar?" He replied, "Abu Bajilah, Khotham, and four others from them, Lakhm, Judham, Ghassan, and 'Amila."  

الطبراني:١٥٩٨٦حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ ثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ مِسِّيكٍ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ لَنَا جِيرَةً مِنْ سَبَأٍ أَهْلَ عَزٍّ وَمُلْكٍ وَجَبَرُوتٍ فَائْذَنْ لِي أَنْ أَدْعُوَهُمْ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ فَإِنْ أَبَوْا فَائْذَنْ لِي أَنْ أُقَاتِلَهُمْ بِقَوْمِي وَمَنْ أَطَاعَنِي فَأَذِنَ لَهُ ثُمَّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَدَا لَهُ فَقَالَ «إِنَّكَ ذَكَرْتَ مِنْ أَمْرِ سَبَأٍ مَا ذَكَرْتَ فَادْعُهُمْ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ فَإِنْ أَجَابُوكَ فَاقْبَلْ مِنْهُمْ وَاكْفُفُ عَنْهُمْ وَإِنْ أَبَوْا فَلَا تَعْرَضْ لَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيكَ أَمْرِي» فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرَأَيْتَ سَبَأً أَرْضٌ أَو امْرَأَةٌ؟ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ بِأَرْضٍ وَلَا امْرَأَةٍ وَلَكِنْ رَجُلٌ وَلَدَ عَشَرَةَ قَبَائِلَ تَيَامَنَ مِنْهُمْ سِتَّةٌ وَتَشَاءَمَ أَرْبَعَةٌ فَاليَمَانِيُّونَ مَذْحِجٌ وَالْأَزْدُ وَكِنْدَةُ وَحِمْيَرُ وَالْأَشْعَرِيُّونَ وَأنْمَارٌ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَمَا أَنْمَارٌ؟ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَجِيلَةَ وَخَثْعَمَ وَتَشَاءَمَ مِنْهُمْ أَرْبَعَةٌ لَخْمٌ وَجُذَامُ وَغَسَّانُ وَعَامِلَةُ

[Machine] I approached the Messenger of Allah and said, "O Messenger of Allah, shall I not fight those who turn back from my people with those who come forward from among them?" He said, "Yes." Then it occurred to me and I said, "O Messenger of Allah, rather the people of Saba are the most honorable and strong in terms of power. So, the Messenger of Allah commanded me and gave me permission to fight against the people of Saba. When I left his presence, Allah revealed concerning Saba what He revealed. So, the Messenger of Allah said, "What did Al-Ghatafani do?" He sent someone to my house and found that I had set out. He followed my trail and caught up with me. When I went to the Messenger of Allah, I found him sitting among his companions and he said, "Invite the people. If anyone responds to you from among them, then accept him. But if they refuse, do not be hasty until you inform me." A man from the people said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is Saba? Is it a land or a woman?" He said, "It is neither a land nor a woman. Rather, it is a tribe composed of ten groups among the Arabs. As for the six, they are Tayy, which is Yamamah, and the ones you wish to choose. And as for the four, they are Lakhm, Judham, 'Amilah, and Ghassan. As for those you wish to choose, they are Azd, Kendah, Himyar, Ash'ariyun, Anmar, and Madhhij." Then a man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is Anmar?" He said, "They are the ones with bushy hair and flat noses."

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلَا أُقَاتِلُ مَنْ أَدْبَرَ مِنْ قَوْمِي بِمَنْ أَقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ؟ قَالَ «بَلَى» ثُمَّ بَدَا لِي فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَا بَلْ أَهْلُ سَبَأٍ هُمْ أَعَزُّ وَأَشَدُّ قُوَّةً فَأَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأْذِنَ لِي فِي قِتَالِ سَبَأٍ فَلَمَّا خَرَجْتُ مِنْ عِنْدَهُ أَنْزَلَ اللهُ فِي سَبَأٍ مَا أَنْزَلَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا فَعَلَ الْغَطَفَانِيُّ» ؟ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى مَنْزِلِي فَوَجَدَنِي قَدْ سِرْتُ فَرَدَّنِي فَلَمَّا أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَوَجَدْتُهُ قَاعِدًا فِي أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالَ «ادْعُ الْقَوْمَ فَمَنْ أَجَابَكَ مِنْهُمْ فَاقْبَلْ وَمَنْ أَبَى فَلَا تَعْجَلْ حَتَّى تُحَدِّثَ إِلَيَّ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا سَبَأٌ؟ أَرْضٌ أَو امْرَأَةٌ؟ قَالَ لَيْسَتْ بِأَرْضٍ وَلَا امْرَأَةٍ وَلَكِنَّهُ وَلَدَ عَشَرَةَ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ فَأَمَّا سِتَّةٌ فَتَيَامَنُوا وَأَمَّا أَرْبَعَةٌ فَتَشَاءَمُوا وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ تَشَاءَمُوا فَلَخْمٌ وَجُذَامُ وَعَامِلَةُ وَغَسَّانُ وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ تَيَامَنُوا فَالأَزْدُ وَكِنْدَةُ وَحِمْيَرُ وَالْأَشْعَرِيُّونَ وَأنْمَارٌ وَمَذْحِجٌ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا أَنْمَارٌ؟ قَالَ هُمُ الَّذِينَ بَجِيلَةُ وَخَثْعَمُ

Furwah was a boy servant to the Roman Emperor Caesar, ruling over the Romans and the Arabs, and his residence was in Oman and its surroundings. When the Romans learned of his conversion, they imprisoned him, and he said while in his prison...

بُعِثَ إِلَي رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَرْوَةُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْجُذَامِيُّ بِإِسْلَامِهِ وَأَهْدَى لَهُ بَغْلَةً بَيْضَاءَ وَكَانَ فَرْوَةُ غُلَامًا لِقَيْصَرَ مَلِكِ الرُّومِ عَلَى مَنْ يَلِيهِ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ وَكَانَ مَنْزِلُهُ عُمَانَ وَمَا حَوْلَهَا فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ الرُّومُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ حَبَسُوهُ فَقَالَ فِي مَحْبَسِهِ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to send Furwah ibn Amr to inspect the date palms. When he entered the garden, he would estimate the yield of the fruits present and then hit some of them against others based on his judgement without making any mistakes.

[Machine] I went to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are people who have grapes and dates, and the prohibition of alcohol has been revealed. What should we do?" He said, "You make it into raisins." They asked, "What should we do with the raisins?" He said, "Soak them in your food, drink them with your dinner, soak them with your dinner, and drink them with your food." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, shouldn't we leave it until it becomes strong?" He said, "Do not put it in a small container or in a barrel, put it in a large container, for if it is delayed beyond its time, it turns into vinegar." I said, "O Prophet of Allah, we are those whom you have taught and given life from where you have known. And we are among the people whom you have known, so who is our guardian?" He said, "Allah and His Messenger."

قَدِمْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا أَصْحَابُ أَعْنَابٍ وَكُرُومٍ وَقَدْ نَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ فَمَاذَا نَصْنَعُ؟ قَالَ «تَتَّخِذُونَهُ زَبِيبًا» قَالُوا فَمَا نَصْنَعُ بِالزَّبِيبِ؟ قَالَ «تُنْقِعُونَهُ عَلَى غَدَائِكُمْ وَتَشْرَبُونَهُ عَلَى عَشَائِكُمْ وَتَنْقَعُونَهُ عَلَى عَشَائِكُمْ وَتَشْرَبُونَهُ عَلَى غَدَائِكُمْ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَفَلَا نَدَعَهُ حَتَّى يَشْتَدَّ؟ قَالَ فَلَا تَجْعَلُوهُ فِي الْقِلَالِ وَلَا الدُّبَّاءِ وَاجْعَلُوهُ فِي الشِّنَانِ فَإِنَّهُ إِنْ تَأَخَّرْ عَنْ عَصْرِهِ صَارَ خَلًّا قُلْتُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ نَحْنُ مَنْ قَدْ عَلِمْتَ وَحَيِّنَا مِنْ حَيْثُ قَدْ عَلِمْتَ وَنَحْنُ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَي مَنْ قَدْ عَلِمْتَ فَمَنْ وَلِيُّنَا؟ قَالَ «اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ»

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قُلْتُ إِنَّ أَرْضَنَا أَرْضٌ بَارِدَةٌ وَلَنَا كُرُومٌ فَمَا نَصْنَعُ بِهَا؟ قَالَ «تَتَّخِذُونَهَا زَبِيبًا» فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[Machine] I visited the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "We make food and drink and feed them to our relatives." He asked, "Does it intoxicate?" I said, "Yes." He said, "It is forbidden." When I was bidding him farewell, I reminded him of it and said, "O Prophet of Allah, they will not be able to abstain from it." He said, "Then whoever cannot abstain, strike his neck."

وَفَدْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّا نَصْنَعُ طَعَامًا وَشَرَابًا فَنُطْعِمُهُ بَنِي عَمِّنَا فَقَالَ «هَلْ يُسْكِرُ؟» قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ «حَرَامٌ» فَلَمَّا كَانَ عِنْدَ تَوْدِيعِي إِيَّاهُ ذَكَرْتُهُ لَهُ فَقُلْتُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ إِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَصْبِرُوا عَنْهُ قَالَ «فَمَنْ لَمْ يَصْبِرْ عَنْهُ فَاضْرِبُوا عُنُقَهُ»

[Machine] I visited the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "We make food and drinks and feed them to our cousins." He said, "Does it intoxicate?" I said, "Yes." He said, "It is forbidden." When I was about to bid him farewell, I reminded him of it and said, "O Prophet of Allah, they will not give it up." He said, "Then whoever does not give it up, strike his neck."

[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are those whom you have taught and guided from where you have knowledge, and we have come down between the two mountains of those who have knowledge. So who is our guardian?" He said, "Allah and His Messenger." I said, "Sufficient for me."

[Machine] Narrated by Ibn Ad-Dailami, who is the son of the niece of An-Najashi and who served the Prophet ﷺ, he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever recites the Surah Al-Ikhlas (Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad) one hundred times in prayer or outside of it, Allah will write for him a protective immunity from the Fire."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There will be a voice in Ramadan." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, in its beginning, or in its middle, or in its end?" He said, "No, but in the middle of Ramadan, on the night of the half of the month, which is the night of Friday, there will be a voice from the sky that will stun seventy thousand people, deafen seventy thousand people, blind seventy thousand people, and mute seventy thousand people." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, who will be saved from your Ummah?" He said, "The one who stays in his house, seeks refuge in prostration, and loudly recites the Takbir (proclaiming the greatness of Allah), then another voice will follow, and the first voice is the voice of Gabriel, and the second voice is the voice of Satan. So the voice will be heard in Ramadan, and chaos will be in Shawwal, and tribes will be distinguished in Dhu al-Qidah, and the pilgrims will be envied in Dhu al-Hijjah, and in Muharram is what is Muharram? Its beginning is a test for my Ummah, and its end is happiness for my Ummah. The saved one among them is like someone who is saved from a decrepit old house that is about to collapse and will bury a hundred thousand people."  

الطبراني:١٦٠٠٤حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ عَنْ فَيْرُوزَ الدَّيْلَمِيِّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَكُونُ فِي رَمَضَانَ صَوْتٌ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فِي أَوَّلِهِ أَو فِي وَسَطِهِ أَو فِي آخِرِهِ؟ قَالَ «لَا بَلْ فِي النِّصْفِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ إِذَا كَانَ لَيْلَةُ النِّصْفِ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ يَكُونُ صَوْتٌ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ يُصْعَقُ لَهُ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا وَيُخْرَسُ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا وَيُعْمَى سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا وَيُصِمُّ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَمَنِ السَّالِمُ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ؟ قَالَ «مَنْ لَزِمَ بَيْتَهُ وَتَعَوَّذَ بِالسُّجُودِ وَجَهَرَ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ لِلَّهِ ثُمَّ يَتْبَعُهُ صَوْتٌ آخَرُ وَالصَّوْتُ الْأَوَّلُ صَوْتُ جِبْرِيلَ وَالثَّانِي صَوْتُ الشَّيْطَانِ فَالصَّوْتُ فِي رَمَضَانَ وَالمَعْمَعَةُ فِي شَوَّالٍ وَتُمَيَّزُ الْقَبَائِلُ فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ وَيَغَارُ عَلَى الْحُجَّاجِ فِي ذِي الْحِجَّةِ وَفِي الْمُحْرِمِ وَمَا الْمُحْرَّمُ؟ أَوَّلُهُ بَلَاءٌ عَلَى أُمَّتِي وَآخِرُهُ فَرَحٌ لِأُمَّتِي الرَّاحِلَةُ فِي ذَلِكَ الزَّمَانِ بِقَتَبِهَا يَنْجُو عَلَيْهَا الْمُؤْمِنُ لَهُ مِنْ دَسْكَرَةٍ تَغُلُّ مِائَةَ أَلْفٍ»

[Machine] We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ in the mosque when his gaze fell upon a man walking in the mosque. The Prophet said, "O so-and-so." The man replied, "Here I am, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet asked him, "Do you testify that I am the Messenger of Allah?" The man replied, "No." The Prophet asked him, "Do you recite the Torah?" The man replied, "Yes, and the Gospel too." The Prophet then asked, "And the Quran?" The man replied, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, if I wish, I can recite it." The Prophet then addressed him, saying, "Do you find me in the Torah and the Gospel?" The man replied, "I find you similar to you, similar to your appearance, and similar to the way you speak. We had hoped that you would be among us, but when you left, we were bewildered as to whether or not you were the one." The Prophet asked, "Why is that?" The man said, "Because with him (referring to the Mahdi) are seventy thousand people from his nation who will enter Paradise without being held to account or punished, and with you are a small group." The Prophet said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, I am the one, and they are my nation. They are more than seventy thousand."  

الطبراني:١٦٠٠٥حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ السطوي ثَنَا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثَنَا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنِ الفَلْتَانِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ

كُنَّا قُعُودًا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَشَخَصَ بَصَرُهُ إِلَى رَجُلٍ يَمْشِي فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ «يَا فُلَانُ» قَالَ لَبَّيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ وَلَا يُنَازِعُهُ الْكَلَامَ إِلَّا قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَتَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ؟» قَالَ لَا قَالَ «أَتَقْرَأُ التَّوْرَاةَ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ وَالْإِنْجِيلَ قَالَ «وَالْقُرْآنَ؟» قَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِِ لَوْ أَشَاءُ لَقَرَأْتُهُ قَالَ ثُمَّ نَاشَدَهُ قَالَ «تَجِدُنِي فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنْجِيلِ؟» قَالَ أَجِدُكَ مِثْلَكَ وَمِثْلَ هَيْأَتِكَ وَمِثْلَ مَخْرَجِكَ وَكُنَّا نَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ مِنَّا فَلَمَّا خَرَجْتَ تَحَيَّرْنَا أَنْ تَكُونَ أَنْتَ هُوَ فَنَظَرْنَا وَإِذَا لَيْسَ أَنْتَ هُوَ قَالَ «وَلِمَ ذَلِكَ؟» قَالَ إِنَّ مَعَهُ مِنْ أُمَّتِهِ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ وَلَا عَذَابٍ وَمَعَكَ نَفَرٌ يَسِيرٌ قَالَ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَأَنَا هُوَ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَأُمَّتِي لَأَكْثَرَ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا وَسَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا»

[Machine] We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when his gaze fell upon a man. He called the man, and a Jewish man wearing a shirt, trousers, and sandals approached. The man began saying, "O Messenger of Allah," and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ responded, "Do you testify that I am the Messenger of Allah?" The man refused to respond, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not say anything except, "O Messenger of Allah" to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, "Do you read the Torah?" He replied, "Yes." He then asked, "And the Gospel?" He replied, "Yes." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "And the Furqan?" He replied, "Yes," while adding, "And I swear by the Lord of Muhammad, if I wished, I could recite it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then asked, "I ask you by the One who revealed the Torah and the Gospel, have you found me mentioned in them?" He replied, "Yes, we find a description like yours coming out from your homeland. We used to hope that you would be among us. Then when you came out, we realized that you were the one. But when we looked again, we realized that you were not the one. So he asked, "Where am I from?" He replied, "We find among his nation seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without being held to account, and indeed you are only a few." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ approached and said the Takbeer twice and then said, "By the One whom my soul is in His Hand, I am indeed the one, and my nation is more than seventy thousand and seventy thousand."  

الطبراني:١٦٠٠٦حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ خَالِهِ الفَلْتَانِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ

كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِذْ شَخَصَ بَصَرُهُ إِلَى رَجُلٍ فَدَعَاهُ فَأَقْبَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ مُجْتَمِعٌ عَلَيْهِ قَمِيصٌ وَسَرَاوِيلُ وَنَعْلَانِ فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَيَقُولُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَتَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ؟» فَيَأْبَى فَجَعَلَ لَا يَقُولُ شَيْئًا إِلَّا قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَيَقُولُ «أَتَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ؟» فَيَأْبَى فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «هَلْ تَقْرَأُ التَّوْرَاةَ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ «وَالْإِنْجِيلَ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ وَالْفُرْقَانَ وَرَبِّ مُحَمَّدٍ لَو شِئْتَ لَقَرَأْتُهُ قَالَ «فَأَسْأَلُكَ بِالَّذِي أَنْزَلَ التَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنْجِيلَ وَأَشْيَاءَ خَلَقَهُمَا أَمَا تَجِدُنِي فِيهِمَا؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ نَجِدُ مِثْلَ نَعْتِكَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ مَخْرَجِكَ حَتَّى كُنَّا نَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ فِينَا فَلَمَّا خَرَجْتَ رَأَيْنَا أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ هُوَ فَلَمَّا نَظَرْنَا إِذَا أَنْتَ لَيْسَ بِهِ قَالَ «مِنْ أَيْنَ؟» قَالَ نَجِدُ مِنْ أُمَّتِهِ سَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ وَإِنَّمَا أَنْتُمْ قَلِيلٌ فَأَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَبَّرَ وَهَلَّلَ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنِّي لَأَنَا هُوَ وَإِنَّ أُمَّتِي لَأَكْثَرَ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا وَسَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا»

[Machine] We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when revelation came down upon him. His eyesight would become open and his hearing and sight would be fully focused on what came from Allah. When he finished, he said to a scribe, "Write: 'The ones who remain at home from amongst the believers and those who strive in the cause of Allah are not equal.'" The blind man stood up and asked, "What is our fault?" So revelation was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ and we said to the blind man, "Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is receiving revelation." The blind man remained standing and said, "I repent to Allah." When he finished, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Write: 'Except those who are disabled.'"

كُنَّا قُعُودًا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ وَكَانَ إِذَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ذَابَ بَصَرُهُ مَفْتُوحَةٌ عَيْنَاهُ وَفَرَّغَ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ قَلْبَهُ لِمَا جَاءَ مِنَ اللهِ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَالَ لِكَاتِبٍ اكْتُبْ {لَا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ} الْآيَةَ فَقَامَ الْأَعْمَى فَقَالَ مَا ذَنْبُنَا؟ فَأُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ فَقُلْنَا لِلْأَعْمَى إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْزِلُ فَبَقِيَ قَائِمًا يَقُولُ أَتُوبُ إِلَى اللهِ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اكْتُبْ {غَيْرُ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ}

[Machine] We came to the Prophet ﷺ regarding a man from the Bedouins who had come to him. We sat waiting for him while anger appeared on his face. He sat in silence for a long time without speaking, then he said, "I came out to you while the Night of Decree and the False Messiah were revealed to me. I came out to clarify them to you and give you good news about them. At the entrance of the mosque, I met two men wrapped with shaytans. I seized one of them and forgot what I wanted to clarify to you, and it slipped away from me. So, I will tell you something different instead."

أَتَيْنَا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِيمَنْ أَتَاهُ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ فَجَلَسْنَا نَنْتَظِرُهُ فَخَرَجَ فِي وَجْهِهِ الْغَضَبُ فَجَلَسَ طَوِيلًا لَا يَتَكَلَّمُ فَقَالَ «إِنِّي خَرَجْتُ إِلَيْكُمْ وَقَدْ تَبَيَّنَتْ لِي لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ ومَسِيحُ الضَّلَالَةِ فَخَرَجْتُ لِأُبَيِّنَهَا لَكُمْ وَأُبَشِّرَكُمْ بِهَا فَلَقِيتُ بِسُدَّةِ الْمَسْجِدِ رَجُلَيْنِ يَتَلاحَيَانِ مَعَهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ فَحَجَزْتُ بَيْنَهُمَا فَنَسِيتُهَا وَاخْتُلِسَتْ مِنِّي وَسَأَشْذُوا لَكُمْ مِنْهَا شَذْوًا»

[Machine] He informed him that he saw the Prophet ﷺ and that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "As for the Night of Qadr, seek it in the last ten odd nights [of Ramadan]."  

الطبراني:١٦٠٠٩حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ الْجَرْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ خَالَهُ الفَلْتَانَ بْنَ عَاصِمٍ

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَمَّا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ وِتْرًا»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I saw the Night of Decree and I forgot it, so seek it in the last ten nights (of Ramadan)."  

الطبراني:١٦٠١٠حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الفَلْتَانِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «رَأَيْتُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ وَأُنْسِيتُهَا فَاطْلُبُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ»

[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and we were sitting, waiting for him, when he came out with anger on his face. He sat silently for a long time without speaking, then he disappeared from us. He said, "I came to you and the Night of Al-Qadr and the Dajjal (Antichrist) have been shown to me. I came to you to explain them to you. I met two men in the mosque who were arguing with each other, and the devil was between them. I separated them and wanted to hear what they were saying, but it escaped from me. So, search for it in the last ten nights. As for the Dajjal (Antichrist), he has a wide forehead, his eyes are wide apart, and on his neck is blood as if he were Ibn Al-Uzza or the son of Ibn Al-Uzza."  

الطبراني:١٦٠١١حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ خَالِهِ الفَلْتَانِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَإِنَّا لَجُلُوسٌ نَنْتَظِرُهُ إِذْ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا فِي وَجْهِهِ الْغَضَبُ فَجَلَسَ طَوِيلًا لَا يَتَكَلَّمُ ثُمَّ سُرِّي عَنْهُ فَقَالَ «إِنِّي خَرَجْتُ إِلَيْكُمْ وَقَدْ تَبَيَّنَتْ لِي لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ ومَسِيحُ الضَّلَالَةِ فَخَرَجْتُ إِلَيْكُمْ لِأُبَيِّنَهَا لَكُمْ فَلَقِيتُ بِالْمَسْجِدِ رَجُلَانِ يَتَلَاحَيَانِ بَيْنَهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ فَحَجَزْتُ بَيْنَهُمَا فَاخْتُلِسَتْ مِنِّي فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ وَأَمَّا مَسِيحُ الضَّلَالَةِ فَإِنَّهُ أَجْلَى الْجَبْهَةِ مَمْسُوحُ الْعَيْنِ عَرِيضُ النَّحْرِ فِيهِ دِمَاءٌ كَأَنَّه ابْنُ الْعُزَّى أَو ابْنُ الْعُزَّى بْنِ فُلَانٍ»
