[Machine] "To the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I said, 'Did you dislike your daily life and the day of hardship?' He replied, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah, the loss of family and tribe.' So he said, 'But isn't it better for those who remain among you?'"

الطبراني:١٥٩٨٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ فَحَدَّثَنِي مُجَالِدٌ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ مِسِّيكٍ الْمُرَادِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَكَرِهْتَ يَوْمِيكُمْ وَيَوْمَي هَمْدَانَ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَنَاءُ الْأَهْلِ وَالْعَشِيرَةِ فَقَالَ «أَمَا أَنَّهُ خَيْرٌ لِمَنْ بَقِيَ مِنْكُمْ»

[Machine] I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, it brought destruction upon the people and the families." He (the Prophet) said, "Verily, it is better for those among you who fear Allah."
