21. Chapter of Fā (Male)
٢١۔ بَابُ الْفَاءِ
[Machine] Furwah bin Amir, the leper, was sent to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ upon his conversion to Islam. He presented to him a white mare. Furwah was a boy servant to the Roman Emperor Caesar, ruling over the Romans and the Arabs, and his residence was in Oman and its surroundings. بُعِثَ إِلَي رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَرْوَةُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْجُذَامِيُّ بِإِسْلَامِهِ وَأَهْدَى لَهُ بَغْلَةً بَيْضَاءَ وَكَانَ فَرْوَةُ غُلَامًا لِقَيْصَرَ مَلِكِ الرُّومِ عَلَى مَنْ يَلِيهِ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ وَكَانَ مَنْزِلُهُ عُمَانَ وَمَا حَوْلَهَا فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ الرُّومُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ حَبَسُوهُ فَقَالَ فِي مَحْبَسِهِ
[Machine] About Urwah, in the identification of those who witnessed the Battle of al-Aqaba from the Ansar, and then from the Banu Bayadah, Furwah bin Amr, who also witnessed the Battle of Badr.
عَنْ عُرْوَةَ فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ الْعَقَبَةَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي بَيَاضَةَ فَرْوَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو وَقَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا
[Machine] Jabir said, "Indeed, the Prophet (PBUH) used to send a man from the Ansar, from the tribe of Bani Bayadah, named Farwah bin Amr, to gather the produce of the people of Madinah."
عَنْ جَابِرٍ «إنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَبْعَثُ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مِن بَنِي بَيَاضَةَ يُقَالُ لَهُ فَرْوَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو فَيَخْرُصُ ثَمَرَةَ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ»
