٢١۔٥٠ فَرْوَةُ بْنُ نَعَامَةَ، وَيُقَالُ نُبَاتَةُ، وَيُقَالُ عَامِرٌ الْجُذَامِيُّ

[Machine] Furwah bin Amir, the leper, was sent to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ upon his conversion to Islam. He presented to him a white mare. Furwah was a boy servant to the Roman Emperor Caesar, ruling over the Romans and the Arabs, and his residence was in Oman and its surroundings. When the Romans learned of his conversion, they imprisoned him, and he said while in his prison...

بُعِثَ إِلَي رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَرْوَةُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْجُذَامِيُّ بِإِسْلَامِهِ وَأَهْدَى لَهُ بَغْلَةً بَيْضَاءَ وَكَانَ فَرْوَةُ غُلَامًا لِقَيْصَرَ مَلِكِ الرُّومِ عَلَى مَنْ يَلِيهِ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ وَكَانَ مَنْزِلُهُ عُمَانَ وَمَا حَوْلَهَا فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ الرُّومُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ حَبَسُوهُ فَقَالَ فِي مَحْبَسِهِ

عَنْ جَابِرٍ «إنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَبْعَثُ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مِن بَنِي بَيَاضَةَ يُقَالُ لَهُ فَرْوَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو فَيَخْرُصُ ثَمَرَةَ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ»
