[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ expressing concern for his ummah regarding six things: the dominance of women, the increase in law enforcement, bribery in judgment, cutting off family ties, the devaluation of bloodshed, and the improper use of the Quran as hymns, where they would give precedence to a man who is not the most knowledgeable or the most virtuous to recite it for them, engaging in singing.

[Machine] "So he informed him and gathered between us, and he continued to be a Christian until he confessed. So he ordered for him a wooden stick that was carved, then he said, 'This is their covenant, so fulfill their covenant as they have fulfilled yours. But if they change, then there is no more covenant for them.' And he ordered for him to be crucified."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at the sky one day and said, "This is the time when knowledge is being raised." A man from the Ansar, whose name was Ziyad bin Labid, said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, is knowledge being raised even though you have come and established it in the hearts?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If I thought you were one of the most knowledgeable people of Madinah, then I would." Then he explained to him the misguidance of the Jews and the Christians regarding what is in their hands of the Book of Allah. So I met Shaddad bin Aws and narrated to him the Hadith of Awf. He said, "Awf spoke the truth. Shall I tell you about the first thing that is raised? It is humility, which is not visible in a person."

I heard the Prophet ﷺ say (while offering prayer on a dead body): O Allah! forgive him, have mercy upon him. Give him peace and absolve him. Receive him with honour and make his grave spacious. Wash him with water, snow and hail, cleanse him from faults as is cleaned a white garment from impurity. Requite him with an abode more excellent than his abode, with a family better than his family, and with a mate better than his mate, and save him from the trial of the grave and torment of Hell. [Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to divide his day when there was something (to distribute). He would give two shares to the families and one share to the unmarried. So we were invited and I was invited before 'Ammar bin Yasir, so I was given one share. He became angry and the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , knew about that. And whoever attended him, there remained a leftover of gold, so the Prophet, ﷺ , would raise it with the end of his stick and it would fall. Then he would raise it again and it would fall, and he would say, "How are you on the day it is bestowed upon you from this (gold)?" No one responded to him, so 'Ammar bin Yasir said, "By Allah, we would have been patient if it had been bestowed upon us," and whoever had patience would be tested, and whoever would be tested would fall into temptation. By Allah, I am the Caller; I am the Seal and I am the Embosser. Have you believed or denied?" Then he left and I was with him until we almost reached the exit, when a man called from behind him, saying, "As you are, O Muhammad." So he turned and said, "Who is that man? O Jews, do you know him among you?" They said, "By Allah, we do not know anyone among us who is more knowledgeable than you in the Book of Allah, or more understanding than you, or more knowledgeable than your father before you, or more knowledgeable than your grandfather before your father." He said, "Then I testify for him by Allah, that he is the Prophet of Allah whom you find in the Torah." They said, "You have lied." Then they refuted him and said evil things about him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You have lied, we will not accept your statement." Then we left, and it was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , Ibn Salam, and I. A Roman soldier intensified his attack on the Muslims and he was riding a chestnut horse with a golden saddle and a golden belt and a sword made of gold. He would strike with it, treating him gently, until the Maddadiyyan passed him, turning to attack his horse, and he fell. Then he climbed on him with a sword and killed him. When Allah defeated the Romans, evidence was found for the Maddadiyyan indicating that he killed him. Khalid gave him his sword and a fifth of his wealth. Awf said, "I spoke to Khalid ibn al-Walid and said, 'Don't you know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ decreed that the spoils belong to the killer?' He said, 'Yes, but I wanted it for myself.'" What prevented you from giving the booty to him? Khalid said: I thought it was too much. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Hand it over to him. Now when Khalid by Auf, the latter pulled him by his cloak and said (by way of chafing him): Hasn't the same thing happened what I reported to you from the Messenger of Allah (may peace he upon him)? When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard it. he was angry (and said): Khalid, don't give him, Khalid, don't give him. Are you going to desert the commanders appointed by roe? Your similitude and theirs is like a person who took camels and sheep for grazing. He grazed them and when it was time for them to have a drink, he brought them to a pool. So they drank from it, drinking away its clear water and leaving the turbid water below So the clear water (i. e. the best reward) is for you and the turbid water (i e. blame) is for them. I said, "When will this be, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "When conditions become corrupt, slave girls become leaders, young boys assume positions of authority, the Qur'an is used as musical instruments, mosques are adorned and beautified, pulpits are raised high, spoils of war are treated as property for personal gain, Zakat is neglected, trust is treacherously betrayed, people acquire knowledge of the religion for other than Allah, a man obeys his wife and disrespects his mother, and the last of this nation curses the first of it. The worst and most disgraced among them will become their leaders. The most honorable among them will be the one who fears his own evil. On that day, this will happen, and the people will be alarmed. On that day, they will rush to Ash-Sham (Greater Syria) seeking refuge from their enemy." I said, "And will Ash-Sham be opened?" He said, "Yes, very soon. Then, turmoil will occur after its opening. Then, there will come a dark, dusty calamity. Then, turmoil will follow each other until a man from my household will emerge. He will be called Al-Mahdi (the guided one). If you live to see him, then follow him and be among the guided."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ entered the mosque with a stick in his hand. He saw hanging water bags, so he pierced one of them and found water inside. He said, "Who is the owner of this? If he gives charity of something better than this, then the owner of this will eat from it on the Day of Resurrection." Then he said, "O people of Madinah, leave it for the birds and animals for forty years." It was asked, "What are the birds and animals?" He said, "Birds and beasts."

[Machine] We traveled with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until we stopped. When the night came, my eyes couldn't sleep, so I got up. There was not a single creature in the camp that did not place its cheek on the ground. The highest thing in my mind was the back of the camel's saddle. I said to myself, "I will not go to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until morning." So I went to the outskirts of the camp until I reached the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ camel. But he was not on his camel. So I went to the outskirts of the camp until I left the army. Suddenly, I found myself in darkness, so I performed Tayammum (dry ablution) with the dark sand. Then, I found Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah and Mu'adh ibn Jabal. They asked me, "What brought you out?" I said, "What brought you two out?" Then, we found ourselves close to Ghaytah. We heard a buzzing sound, like the buzzing of bees or the rustling of the wind. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Is this Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah?" We said, "Yes." He asked, "And Mu'adh ibn Jabal?" We said, "Yes." He further asked, "And Awf ibn Malik?" We said, "Yes." Then, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us. We stood up and didn't ask him anything, nor did he ask us anything. He returned to his camel and said, "Shall I not inform you of what my Lord has favored me with in advance?'" We said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "My Lord has favored me with the choice between having one-third of my Ummah enter Paradise without any reckoning or punishment, and between intercession." We said, "O Messenger of Allah, what have you chosen?" He said, "I have chosen intercession." We all said, "O Messenger of Allah, make us among the people of your intercession." He said to us, "My intercession is for every Muslim."
