Do not buy fruits (on the trees) until their good condition becomes clear.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تَبِيعُوا الثَّمَرَ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلاَحُهُ

"Do not sell fruits until they have ripened."'

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تَبِيعُوا الثَّمَرَ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلاَحُهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fruit should not be sold until it is tasted."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يُبَاعُ الثَّمَرُ حَتَّى يُطْعَمَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fruit should not be sold until it is ripe."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يُبَاعُ الثَّمَرُ حَتَّى يُطْعَمَ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not sell fruits of dates until they become free from all the dangers of being spoilt or blighted; and do not sell fresh dates for dry dates." Narrated Salim and ʿAbdullah from Zaid bin Habit' "Later on Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted the selling of ripe fruits on trees for fresh dates or dried dates in Bai'-al-'Araya, and did not allow it for any other kind of sale." عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَتَبَايَعُوا الثَّمَرَ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ

"Do not sell fruits until they have ripened."' (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2215)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَبَايَعُوا الثَّمَرَ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Visit the sick and walk with the funeral procession, as it reminds you of the Hereafter."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ عُودُوا الْمَرِيضَ وَامْشُوا مَعَ الْجَنَائِزِ تُذَكِّرْكُمُ الْآخِرَةَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Visit the sick and follow the funeral procession, as it reminds you of the hereafter."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عُودُوا الْمَرِيضَ وَاتَّبِعُوا الْجَنَازَةَ تُذَكِّرُكُمُ الْآخِرَةَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Visit the sick and attend funerals, as they will remind you of the Hereafter."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عُودُوا الْمَرْضَى وَاتَّبِعُوا الْجَنَائِزَ تُذَكِّرُكُمُ الْآخِرَةَ

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If you knew, you would mention it similarly.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

The Prophet ﷺ said: There is no ghoul. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3913)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ يَا بُنَيَّ

the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sold a Mudabbar. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2512)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَاعَ الْمُدَبَّرَ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from entering the unseen realms."

نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَدْخُلَ عَلَى الْمُغِيبَاتِ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not combine my name and my kunya."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَجْمَعُوا اسْمِي وَكُنْيَتِي

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from entering the inaccessible.

نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَدْخُلَ عَلَى الْمُغِيبَاتِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا شِغَارَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the likes of it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not trade with female singers."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَبِيعُوا الْمُغَنِّيَاتِ

Qays ibn Talq said: Talq ibn Ali visited us on a certain day during Ramadan. He remained with us till evening and broke fast with us. He then stood up and led us in the witr prayer. He then went to his mosque and led them in prayer. When the witr remained, he put forward another man and said: Lead your companions in the witr prayer, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: There are no two witrs during one night. أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا وِتْرَانِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to accept the gift and reward for it.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْبَلُ الْهَدِيَّةَ وَيُثِيبُ عَلَيْهَا

[AI] The translation of the passage into English is as follows: "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: Whoever is held accountable will be punished."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ حُوسِبَ عُذِّبَ

“Do not cut off (the thief's hand) except for something worth one quarter of a Dinar or more (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2585)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تُقْطَعُ الْيَدُ إِلَّا فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ

"The hand of the thief is to be cut off for a quarter of a Dinar, or more." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4917)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ تُقْطَعُ الْيَدُ فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ

"Geckos are vermin." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2886)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَزَغُ فُوَيْسِقٌ

Yahya said, "Malik related to us from Ibn Shihab from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The pledge given as security is not forfeited.' " Malik said, "The explanation of that according to what we think - and Allah knows best - is that a man gives a pledge to somebody in security for something. The pledge is superior to that for which he pawned it. The pledger says to the pawn-broker, 'I will bring you your due, after such-and-such a time. If not, the pledge is yours for what it was pawned for.' " Malik said, "This transaction is not good and it is not halal. This is what was forbidden. If the owner brings what he pledged it for after the period, it is his. I think that the time condition is void."

أنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قالَ: «لا يَغْلَقُ الرَّهْنُ» -[٧٢٩]- قالَ مالِكٌ: «وتَفْسِيرُ ذَلِكَ فِيما نُرى، واللَّهُ أعْلَمُ، أنْ يَرْهَنَ الرَّجُلُ الرَّهْنَ عِنْدَ الرَّجُلِ بِالشَّيْءِ، وفِي الرَّهْنِ فَضْلٌ عَمّا رُهِنَ بِهِ، فَيَقُولُ الرّاهِنُ لِلْمُرْتَهِنِ: إنْ جِئْتُكَ بِحَقِّكَ، إلى أجَلٍ يُسَمِّيهِ لَهُ، وإلّا فالرَّهْنُ لَكَ بِما رُهِنَ فِيهِ» قالَ: «فَهَذا لا يَصْلُحُ ولا يَحِلُّ، وهَذا الَّذِي نُهِيَ عَنْهُ، وإنْ جاءَ صاحِبُهُ بِالَّذِي رَهَنَ بِهِ بَعْدَ الأجَلِ، فَهُوَ لَهُ، وأُرى هَذا الشَّرْطَ مُنْفَسِخًا»

Yahya related to me from Malik from Amr ibn Yahya al-Mazini from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no injury nor return of injury."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ ضَرَرَ وَلاَ ضِرَارَ

Messenger of Allah, do not say Amin before me. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 937)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَسْبِقْنِي بِآمِينَ»

The Prophet ﷺ said: The contractual obligation of a slave is three days. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3506)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «عُهْدَةُ الرَّقِيقِ أَرْبَعُ لَيَالٍ»

the Messenger of Allah forbade selling water. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4660)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الْمَاءِ»

[AI] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, "The seven repeatedly-recited verses (Al-Fatiha) are the opening of the Book."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «السَّبْعُ الْمَثَانِي فَاتِحَةُ الْكِتَابِ»

[AI] The translation of the given Arabic sentence into English is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'A believer is forgiven.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمُؤْمِنُ مُكَفَّرٌ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Musk is the best of perfumes."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمِسْكُ هُوَ أَطْيَبُ الطِّيبِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Visit the sick and follow the funerals as they remind you of the Hereafter."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «عُودُوَا الْمَرْضَى وَاتَّبَعُوا الْجَنَائِزَ تُذَكِّرُكُمُ الْآخِرَةَ»

The severer of the tie of kinship would not get into Paradise. (Using translation from Muslim 2556b)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَاطِعٌ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not follow what you do not have."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَبِعْ مَا لَيْسَ عِنْدَكَ»

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Do not sell the fruit until it is ripe and its goodness is evident.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَبِيعُوا الثَّمَرَ حَتَّى يَطْلُعَ الثُّرَيَّا ويَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهَا»

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not sell the fruits until they are fully ripe."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَبِيعُوا الثِّمَارَ حَتَّى يَطْلُعَ الثُّرَيَّا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "A ruler will never cease to be from the Quraish tribe."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَزَالُ وَالٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A person will be with those whom he loves."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade selling fruits until they are ripe.

«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يُطْعَمَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A believer does not hold grudges."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَغُلُّ مُؤْمِنٌ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever forsakes a prayer will meet Allah while He is angry with him."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ تَرَكَ صَلَاةً لَقِيَ اللهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ»

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "People are of three types: the one who is safe, the one who gains, and the one who loses."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «النَّاسُ ثَلَاثَةٌ سَالِمٌ وَغَانِمٌ وَشَاجِبٌ»

[AI] "On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, 'There is no restriction.'"

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا حَبَسٌ»

[AI] That the messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A person will be with those whom he loves."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ»
