[Machine] The Prophet commanded five things and forbade ten things. He commanded the trimming of the mustache, the use of tooth stick (miswak), the trimming of the beard, the practice of nasal rinse (istinshaq), and the gargling of the mouth (maddmada). He forbade a woman from marrying her maternal or paternal aunt, two women from wearing one garment, wearing silk for men, the selling of dogs, the payment of dower for an illicit union, the earning from cupping therapy, the using of animal skins for clothing, and the wearing of Qassi garments. He also forbade mating a horse specified by an ascribe.

[Machine] Narrated from the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , that he stood up one night in Makkah and said, "O Allah, have I conveyed the message three times?" 'Umar ibn Al-Khattab stood up and he was a wise man, and he said, "O Allah, yes, you have been keen and exerted efforts and advised. O Allah, yes, you have been keen and exerted efforts and advised." Then it was morning and he said, "Faith will not be complete until disbelief returns to its homeland, and the seas will be traversed in Islam. A time will come when people will learn the Quran and teach it. Then they will say, 'We have read and learned, so who is better than us?' Are those people better than us?'' They said, "No, O Messenger of Allah, who are those people?" He said, "They are from among you, and they are the fuel of the Fire."

[Machine] In His saying "They ask you about orphans. Say, 'Improvement for them is better,'" and this was before the revelation of "Indeed, those who devour the property of orphans unjustly are only consuming into their bellies fire. And they will be burned in a Blaze." The Muslims disliked eating with orphans and felt uncomfortable if they were to mix with them in any way, so they asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it. So Allah revealed, "Say, 'Improvement for them is better. And if you mix your affairs with them, then they are your brothers. And Allah knows the corrupter from the amender. And if Allah had willed, He could have put you in difficulty. However, He chose to facilitate for you."' He says, "It is not to restrict you but [to promote] virtue;" and He says, "Whoever is rich, let him be abstinent, and whoever is poor, let him eat [only] in a fair manner." He says, "The poor person may consume the wealth of the orphan to the extent of his needs, according to the standard of his living and his benefit from it, as long as he does not exceed [his needs]."

[Machine] Ibn Abbas said about the saying of Allah, "And when you are among them and lead the prayer for them, let a group of them stand [in prayer] with you." (Quran 4:102), that this prayer is performed during times of fear. The Imam stands and a group of them stands with him, and another group takes their weapons and stands facing the enemy. Then the Imam prays one rak'ah with those who are with him, and then sits in his posture while they stand and pray the second rak'ah individually for themselves. The Imam remains seated until they join their companions and stand in their positions, and then others come forward and the Imam prays the second rak'ah for them. This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed with the people on the day of the Nakhla palm tree.

[Machine] In His saying, "those who avoid the major sins and immoralities," Allah [glorified and exalted be He] states that the greatest of the major sins is associating partners with Allah, because Allah has said, "Whoever associates partners with Allah has certainly forbidden Paradise to him." Another major sin is despairing of the mercy of Allah, as Allah says, "None despairs of the mercy of Allah except for the disbelieving people." Another major sin is scheming against Allah, because Allah says, "No one feels secure from the plan of Allah except those who are the losers." Disobeying one's parents is also among the major sins, as Allah has made the disobedient one oppressive and wretched. Killing oneself is forbidden except in cases of justice, as Allah, glorified be He, says, "So its recompense is Hell." Throwing accusations at chaste women is also a major sin, as Allah, the Majestic, says, "They are cursed in this world and the Hereafter and for them is a great punishment." Consuming the wealth of orphans is a major sin, as Allah, glorified be He, says, "They do not consume it except into fire. And they will be burned therein." Fleeing from battle is a major sin, for Allah, may He be exalted, says, "And whoever turns his back to them on such a day, unless swerving as a strategy of war or joining another company. Such has indeed returned with anger upon him from Allah, and his refuge is Hell - and wretched is the destination." Taking usury is a major sin, as Allah, the Most High, says, "Indeed, those who consume interest cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity." Witchcraft and sorcery are among the major sins, as Allah, exalted be He, says, "But they do not appraise Allah with true appraisal." Adultery is a major sin, as Allah says, "He will be flung on the Day of Judgment to be dipped in fire and be scorched to a horrible lodging." Breaking oaths is a major sin, as Allah, exalted be He, says, "And whoever breaks an oath brings upon himself the burden of sin." Withholding the obligatory charity is a major sin, as Allah, the Most High, says, "So let their chattels and their children not impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them." Bearing false witness is a major sin, as Allah, exalted be He, says, "And whoever conceals it - indeed, his heart is sinful." Drinking alcohol is a major sin, as Allah, exalted be He, prohibited it and declared it impure. Deliberately abandoning prayer or any of what Allah has enjoined is a major sin, because the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, "Whoever abandons prayer willfully has disbelieved and removed the protective covering of Allah from himself." Breaking covenants and cutting off ties of kinship are major sins, as

Then he said: "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, if the heavens and the earth and all that is in them and what is between them and what is beneath them were brought and placed in one scale, and the testimony that there is no god but Allah was placed in the other scale, it would outweigh them."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was eager for all people to believe and to follow him on the right path. Allah informed him that only those who have already found happiness in the first remembrance will believe, and only those who have already experienced misery in the first remembrance will go astray. Then Allah said to His Prophet ﷺ, "Perhaps you will cause yourself to grieve because they are not believers." He says, "If We will, We could send down upon them from the sky a sign, and their necks would remain humbled to it."

But when they denied him and refused to follow him, he said, "O people! If you refuse to follow me, then protect my kinship ties among you. Let no one from the Arabs have a greater responsibility in protecting me and supporting me than you."

That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment." He said, "There was a group of people among the people of the Scripture who had an agreement and a covenant with the Prophet ﷺ . However, they broke their agreement and spread corruption on the earth. So Allah gave His Prophet ﷺ the option, if He willed, to kill them, or if He willed, to crucify them, or if He willed, to cut off their hands and feet from opposite sides, or if He willed, to exile them from the land.
