[Machine] "You are loved by the people, so go to Syria," Ibn Umar said, "By my close proximity and companionship with the Prophet ﷺ, and the bond of kinship between us, he did not befriend him."  

الطبراني:١٣٠٤٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ حَمَّادٍ الْبَرْبَرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ لَمَّا قُتِلَ عُثْمَانُ جَاءَ عَلِيٌّ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ فَقَالَ

إِنَّكَ مَحْبُوبٌ فِي النَّاسِ فَسِرْ إِلَى الشَّامِ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ بِقَرَابَتِي وَصُحْبَتِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَالرَّحِمِ الَّتِي بَيْنَنَا فَلَمْ يُعَاوِدْهُ
