[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah, forgive the servant of Al-Qais three times."
[Machine] Al-Fadl ibn Abbas was standing next to the Prophet ﷺ, so he allowed the young boy to observe the women and look at them. However, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned his face away from him using his hand from behind. The young boy continued to observe them, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Indeed, this is a day in which a person's hearing, sight, and tongue will be forgiven."
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day Sa'd bin Mu'adh passed away, stood at his grave and then he said, "If anyone could escape the squeezing of the grave, it would have been Sa'd. He has been squeezed and then he has been set free."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Gabriel came to me and said, 'O Muhammad, Allah has cursed alcohol and the one who produces it, the one who presses it, the one who drinks it, the one who carries it, the one it is carried to, the one who sells it, the one who buys it, the one who serves it, and the one who is served it.'"
[Machine] Indeed, we invade this land (Maghrib) while its inhabitants are pagan, and they have a nearby source of milk and water. Ibn Abbas said, "Tanning is cleansing." Then Ibn Wahlah asked, "Is this your opinion or something you heard?" He replied, "No, it is something I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."
[Machine] To Abbas and Fadl bin Abbas, mention to the prophet Muhammad ﷺ that he should instruct you regarding the alms. I will present it to you. Fadl informed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about that, so he said, "Exercise patience, O sons of Hashim, for indeed, charity is the purification of the people."
[Machine] From the Prophet, ﷺ , he said: "Whoever says in the morning, 'Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan Allahil-Azeem, Astaghfirullah' (Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him, Glory be to Allah the Almighty, I seek forgiveness from Allah), will catch up with whatever he missed in his day. And whoever says it in the evening will catch up with whatever he missed in his night."
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ offered two units of prayer and recited in them the opening chapter of the Quran, and he did not add anything to them."
[Machine] "Do not ask for a favor from a blind person, and do not ask for it at night. And when you ask for a favor, face the person with your face, for modesty lies in the eyes. And ask for your need early, for the Prophet ﷺ said, 'O Allah, bless my nation in its mornings'."
[Machine] Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fever is a breath from the Hellfire, so cool it with Zamzam water."
[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ gave Muhammad ibn Muslimah a sword and said, "Fight the polytheists until they submit. And when you see two swords conflicting among the Muslims, strike until discord is gone, and then sit in your house until death or an incorrect hand comes to you." Then I came to Ibn Umar and he urged me to follow the same command from the Prophet ﷺ .
"Indeed there are two traits in you that Allah loves: Forbearance, and deliberateness." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2011)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best of the people of the east is 'Abd al-Qays."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I am the intercessor for whoever has been unjust to Abd al-Qays."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, forgive the servant of Al-Qays three times."
[Machine] About alcohol, I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the masjid when he was leaning against my chest. Then he said, "Whoever has alcohol with them, let them bring it to me." So people started coming to him, and one person said, "I have a container of alcohol," and another person said, "I have a pitcher," and another person said, "I have a wine flask." And Allah willed that there be nothing with him. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Gather it in the open space of Al-Baqi' such and such and then give me the permission." So he stood up and I stood up with him. I walked on his right side while he was leaning on me. Then Abu Bakr caught up with us, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took hold of me and put him in my place. Then 'Umar ibn Al-Khattab caught up with us, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took hold of him and put him on his left side. He walked between them until he reached the wine. Then he said to the people, "Do you know what this is?" They said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, this is alcohol." He said, "You are correct. Indeed, Allah has cursed alcohol, its drinker, its server, its seller, its buyer, its presser, and the one for whom it is pressed." Then he called for a knife and said, "Sharpen it." So they sharpened it. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took it and slashed the wine containers, and the people said, "In these containers is benefit." So he said, "Yes, but I only did that in anger for the sake of Allah, for the evil that is in them." And some of them added to others in the narration.
[Machine] About the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? He said, "Yes, about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."
[Machine] Grant my request, O Commander of the Faithful. By Allah, my need is great. I have become a father of ten, a brother of ten, and an uncle of ten. When Marwan and Ibn Abbas left, Muawiyah sat with me on his bed and said, "I swear to Allah, O Ibn Abbas, do you not know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'When the Banu Hakam reach thirty men, they will corrupt the signs of Allah among themselves, betray their obligations as worshippers, and distort His Book. When they reach ninety-nine and four hundred, their destruction will come faster than the ripening of a fruit'?" Ibn Abbas said, "O Allah, yes." Then Marwan mentioned his need, and Marwan bin Abdul Malik responded to Muawiyah. After Marwan left, Muawiyah said, "I swear to Allah, O Ibn Abbas, do you not know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned this?" Abu al-Jababirah said, "The four mentioned individuals." Ibn Abbas said, "O Allah, yes." That is why Muawiyah claimed Ziyad.

[Machine] Some people from the tribe of Himyar came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about certain matters. One of them said, "I love women and I like to approach my wife from the front and from behind. What do you think about that?" So Allah revealed the verse, "Your wives are a place of cultivation for you, so come to your cultivation however you wish." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Approach her from the front or from behind, as long as it is in the lawful place."

And know that if the nation were to gather together to benefit you, they would not benefit you except with something that Allah has already decreed for you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried."

[Machine] Some of his companions brought him (the Prophet Muhammad) something and he neither declared it lawful nor prohibited it. Ibn Abbas said, "What are you saying? The Messenger of Allah was only sent with (the knowledge of) what is lawful and what is prohibited. It was only Umm Hufaid, the daughter of Al-Harith, who came to visit her sister Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad, and they brought food with them, in which there was the meat of a deer. Then the Messenger of Allah came after he had become dark (meaning it was night). Maymunah said, 'O Messenger of Allah, it is the meat of a deer.' So he refrained from (eating) it and Maymunah refrained from (eating) it." Ibn Abbas said, "But whoever had meat with him, he ate it, even if it was prohibited, he prohibited them from it and said, 'It is not our land, and we are not in need of it.'"

Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was only sent as one who makes things lawful and forbidden. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was with Maymuna and with him were Fadl ibn Abbas and Khalid ibn Walid and a woman. So, some khawans were brought to him, along with bread and game meat. He held his hand and said, 'This meat is not for me to eat, but you may eat.' So, Khalid ibn Walid, Fadl ibn Abbas, and the woman ate. Maymuna said, 'I will not eat any food that the Prophet ﷺ did not eat from.' So, Maymuna did not eat."

[Machine] A group of Jews came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ one day and said, "O Abu Al-Qasim, tell us about some things that only a Prophet knows." He replied, "Ask me about whatever you want, but guarantee me the protection of Allah. And know that whatever Jacob took from his sons, if I tell you about it and you recognize it, you must follow me." They agreed, and asked him four questions: Which food did the Israelites forbid upon themselves before the Torah was revealed? How does the water of a woman differ from the water of a man? How can a child resemble their mother or father? How can this unlettered Prophet be among his people? And who is his guardian angel? The Prophet replied, "I have Allah's covenant with you. If I tell you, give me whatever guarantee and condition I wish." They agreed, and he said, "I swear by the one who revealed the Torah to Moses, do you know that Israel once fell seriously ill and his condition worsened? He made a vow that if Allah cured him of his illness, he would forever prohibit his most beloved drink and food. His most beloved food was the meat of camels and his most beloved drink was their milk." They said, "O Allah, yes." He said, "O Allah, bear witness." And he continued, "I swear by the one who revealed the Torah to Moses, do you know that the water of a man is thick and the water of a woman is thin and yellow? Whichever prevails determines the sex of the child, with the permission of Allah. If the water of a man prevails, the child will be male with the permission of Allah. And if the water of a woman prevails, the child will be female with the permission of Allah." They said, "O Allah, yes." He said, "O Allah, bear witness." And he said, "I swear by the one who revealed the Torah to Moses, do you know that this unlettered Prophet's eyes sleep while his heart does not?" They said, "O Allah, yes." He said, "O Allah, bear witness." Then they said, "Now tell us who is your guardian angel among the angels, for based on your answer, we will either follow you or abandon you." He replied, "My guardian angel is Gabriel, ﷺ . There has never been a Prophet sent by Allah without Gabriel as his guardian angel." They said, "If your guardian angel is someone other than Gabriel, we will abandon you and call you a liar." He said, "What prevents you from believing in him?" They said, "He is our enemy." At that moment, Allah revealed, "Whosoever is an enemy to Gabriel, then indeed he has brought it (this Quran) down upon your heart by Allah's permission, confirming what came before it as a guidance and glad tidings for the believers. Whoever is an enemy to Allah..." until "...they are blind." At that, they became filled with rage.

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ gave a sermon to a woman from his people, known as Sawda, who was widowed and had five or six children from her previous husband. The Prophet ﷺ asked her, "What prevents you from being with me?" She replied, "By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, nothing prevents me from being with you except that I would like to be the most honorable woman to you. However, I would like you to take care of these children at your side, morning and evening." The Prophet ﷺ asked her, "Is there anything else that prevents you from being with me?" She said, "No, by Allah." Upon hearing this, the Prophet ﷺ said, "May Allah have mercy on you. Indeed, the best women who rode the fastest camels were the righteous women of the Quraysh. They loved their children when they were young and cared for their husbands themselves."
