"أدوا إلى كلِّ ذى حقٍّ حقَّه، والولدُ للفراشِ وللعاهرِ الحجر، ومن تولى غيرَ مواليه، أو ادَّعى إلى غير أبيه، فعليه لعنة الله والملائكةِ والناسِ أجمعين، لا يقْبَلُ منه صرفٌ ولا عدلٌ".

I asked Anas b. Malik whether Messenger of Allah ﷺ had declared Medina as sacred. He said: Yes. (the area) between so and so. He who made any innovation in it, and further said to me: It is something serious to make any innovation in it (and he who does it) there is upon him the curse of Allah, and that of the angels and of all the people, Allah will not accept from him on the Day of Resurrection either obligatory acts or the surpererogatory acts. Ibn Anas said: Or he accommodates an innovator.

"The Prophet ﷺ gave a Khutbah upon his she-camel, while I was under the front of her neck, and she was chewing her curd, with her saliva dripping between my shoulders. I heard him saying: 'Indeed Allah, Most Blessed and Most High, has given the right due to everyone deserving a right. So there is no will for an heir, the child is for the bed, and for the fornicator is the stone.'"

"Whoever is killed in the blind or by something thrown, with a rock, a whip, or a stick, then the blood money to be paid for him is the blood money for accidental killing. Whoever kills deliberately, then retaliation is upon him, and whoever tries to prevent that, upon him is the curse of Allah, the Angels and all the people, and Allah will not accept any Sarf nor 'Adl from him."

“Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father, or (a freed slave) who claims that his Wala is for other than his real master, the curse of Allah (SWT), the angels and all the people will be upon him.”
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنِ انْتَسَبَ إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ

Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father, or (a freed slave) who claims that his Wala is for other than his Mavali, upon him will be the curse of Allah, the angels and all the people, and no charge nor equitable exchange will be accepted from him.” Or he said: “No equitable exchange nor change.”
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَطَبَهُمْ وَهُوَ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ وَإِنَّ رَاحِلَتَهُ لَتَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا وَإِنَّ لُغَامَهَا لَيَسِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَىَّ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَسَمَ لِكُلِّ وَارِثٍ نَصِيبَهُ مِنَ الْمِيرَاثِ فَلاَ يَجُوزُ لِوَارِثٍ وَصِيَّةٌ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ وَمَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لاَ يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلاَ عَدْلٌ أَوْ قَالَ عَدْلٌ وَلاَ صَرْفٌ
[AI] "I was sitting beneath the Prophet's camel ﷺ when I heard him saying, 'Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father, or falsely claims affiliation to someone other than his guardians, out of preference for them, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people. His deeds will not be accepted, and his testimony will not be valid.'"
كُنْتُ تَحْتَ نَاقَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوِ انْتَمَى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ رَغْبَةً عَنْهُمْ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever claims to have a relationship with someone other than his biological father, or supports those who are not his legal guardians, those who have freed him from slavery, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people, until the Day of Judgment. His expenditures and testimonies will not be accepted."

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon to us in Mina while he was on his mount, and it was stumbling with its reins. His saliva was flowing between his shoulders. He said, "Indeed, Allah has allotted each person his share of inheritance, so it is not permissible for an heir to make a bequest on behalf of his father, nor for the adulterer to inherit. Verily, the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people is upon anyone who claims someone other than his father as his father or who supports other than his supporters out of preference for them." Ibn Ja'far said: Sa'id said: Ma'atir said, "No substitution or compensation is accepted from him." Yazid said in his narration: "No substitution and no compensation," or "compensation and no substitution." خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِمِنًى وَهُوَ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ وَهِيَ تَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا وَلُعَابُهَا يَسِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ قَسَمَ لِكُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ نَصِيبَهُ مِنَ الْمِيرَاثِ فَلَا تَجُوزُ لِوَارِثٍ وَصِيَّةٌ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ أَلَا وَمَنْ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ رَغْبَةً عَنْهُمْ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَقَالَ سَعيدٌ وَقَالَ مَطَرٌ وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ قَالَ يَزِيدُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَلَا يُقْبَلُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ أَوْ عَدْلٌ وَلَا صَرْفٌ قَالَ يَزِيدُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ إِنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ خَارِجَةَ حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَطَبَهُمْ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ
[AI] I was leading the camel of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while it was hobbling with its harness, and its saliva was dripping between its shoulders. He (the Messenger) said, "Indeed, Allah has given every rightful person his right, and there is no bequest for an heir. The child belongs to the bed, and the stone belongs to the adulterer, and whoever claims someone other than his father or belongs to someone other than his guardian then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people." 'Affan said, "And Hammad added to it with this chain of narration, and 'Abdul Rahman bin Ganm was not mentioned. Indeed, I was under the garment of his riding animal." And he added, "Justice and generosity are not accepted from him." And in the Hadith of Hammad, it is narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon and said, "Desire on their behalf."
كُنْتُ آخِذًا بِزِمَامِ نَاقَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهِيَ تَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا وَلُعَابُهَا يَسِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ أَعْطَى كُلَّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ وَلَيْسَ لِوَارِثٍ وَصِيَّةٌ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ وَمَنْ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ انْتَمَى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ قَالَ عَفَّانُ وَزَادَ فِيهِ هَمَّامٌ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُذْكَرْ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ غَنْمٍ وَإِنِّي لَتَحْتَ جِرَانِ رَاحِلَتِهِ وَزَادَ فِيهِ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ عَدْلٌ وَلَا صَرْفٌ وَفِي حَدِيثِ هَمَّامٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَطَبَ وَقَالَ رَغْبَةً عَنْهُمْ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon while he was on his camel, and I was underneath its saddle while it was jerking with its reins. Its saliva was flowing between my shoulders. He said, "Indeed, Allah has given every person their rightful due, and there is no will for the inheritor. The child belongs to the marriage bed, and the child of adultery belongs to the stone. Whoever claims someone other than his father as his own, or belongs to someone other than his guardian, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people. His expenditure and testimony will not be accepted."

“The Prophet ﷺ addressed them when he was on his camel. His camel was chewing its cud and its saliva was dripping between my shoulders. He said: 'Allah (SWT) has allocated for each heir his share of the inheritance, so it is not permissible (to make) a bequest for an heir. The child belong to the bed and the adulterer gets the stone. Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father, or (a freed slave) who claims that his Wala is for other than his Mavali, upon him will be the curse of Allah, the angels and all the people, and no charge nor equitable exchange will be accepted from him.” Or he said: “No equitable exchange nor change.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2712)

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a speech to us while he was in Mina, riding on his camel. I was sitting under the shade of his camel while it was drooling and its saliva was dripping between my shoulders. He said, "Allah has divided for every person his share of inheritance, and it is not permissible for an inheritor to prevent a will. Verily, the child belongs to the bed, and the stone belongs to the adulterer. And whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father, or supports someone other than his legal guardians, out of allegiance to them, then upon him is the curse of Allah, His angels, and all people." Sa'id said, "Matir narrated to us, from Shahar, from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Ghanim, from 'Amr bin Kharijah, from the Prophet ﷺ with the same narration. Matir added something to the narration, and it is not accepted from him."

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , delivered a sermon to us in Mina while he was on his mount, which was braying with its nostrils and its saliva flowing between his shoulders. He said, "Verily, Allah has divided for every person his share of the inheritance, so it is not permissible for an heir to make a will in favor of someone else, nor for a disobedient person (who is deserving of stoning) to be thrown with stones. And whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father or turns away from his guardians out of desire for others, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people."
Ibn Ja'far said, and Sa'id said, "Matar narrated to them and said, 'No valid transfer or justice from him is accepted.'" Yazid said, "And in his narration, no transfer or justice is accepted from him, nor justice or transfer." My father said, "Yazid said in his narration, 'Indeed, Amr ibn Harithah informed them that the Prophet, ﷺ , delivered a sermon to them while on his mount.'"

[AI] "I was holding the reins of the Prophet's camel while it was stumbling and its saliva was flowing between its shoulders. He said, 'Verily, Allah has given every rightful person his right, and there is no will for an inheritor. The child belongs to the bed, and the offspring of an adulteress belongs to the stone. And whoever alleges to someone other than his father or joins a group other than his own people, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people.' Affan said, and Hammam added to this chain, but did not mention Abdul Rahman bin Ghannam. I was under the saddle of his riding animal.' And he added, 'No justice or fairness is accepted from him.' In a hadith of Hammam, it is mentioned that the Messenger of Allah gave a speech and said, 'Out of their own will.'

He said, "Indeed, Allah has given every rightful person his right, and there is no will for an heir. A child belongs to the marriage bed, and the stone is for the adulterer. And whoever claims to be someone other than his father, or affiliates himself with someone other than his guardians, the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people is upon him. No exchange or justice will be accepted from him."

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon while he was in Mina, riding on his camel. I was sitting beneath the saddle of his camel, and it was grazing with its nose-rein. Its saliva was flowing between my shoulders. He said, "Verily, Allah has allotted to every person their share of inheritance, and it is not permissible for an heir to make a bequest in favor of someone else. Indeed, a child belongs to their bed [biological father], and the stone [of punishment] is for the one who commits adultery. And whoever claims someone other than their father, or turns their back on their guardians, out of aversion for them, then upon them is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people." Sa'id said: Matr narrated to us from Shahr bin Hawsab, from 'Abdul-Rahman bin Ghinm, from 'Amr bin Kharijah, from the Prophet ﷺ , with similar wording. Matr added in the Hadith: "And it is not accepted from him [the heir] to transfer it [inheritance] or to act justly."

ذِكْرُ إِيجَابِ لَعْنَةِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ عَلَى الْفَاعِلِ الْفِعْلَيْنِ اللَّذَيْنِ تَقَدَّمَ ذِكْرُنَا لَهُمَا
“Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father, or (a freed slave) who claims that his Wala is for other than his real master, the curse of Allah (SWT), the angels and all the people will be upon him.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2609)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ»
[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever frightens the people of Medina, Allah will frighten him, and upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind. No compensation or ransom will be accepted from him.'"
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَخَافَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ أَخَافَهُ اللهُ وَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ»
[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever harms the people of Medina, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَخَافَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ»
[AI] Narrated by the Messenger of Allah, may ﷺ , that he said, "O Allah, whoever oppresses the people of Madinah and fears them, then conceal him, and upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind. Allah will not accept any compensation or justice from him."
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ مَنْ ظَلَمَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ وَأَخَافَهُمْ فَأَخِفْهُمْ وَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يَقْبَلُ اللهُ مِنْهُ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever fears the people of Medina, Allah will fear him on the Day of Judgment, curse him, be angry with him, and will not accept anything from him, nor will He compensate him."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَخَافَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ أَخَافَهُ اللهُ ﷻ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَلَمْ يَقْبَلْ مِنْهُ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا»
[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father, or shows loyalty to someone other than his guardian, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ تَوَلَّى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever curses my companions, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ سَبَّ أَصْحَابِي فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ»
[AI] Ibn Abbas said, "Whoever claims to have a relationship or allegiance with someone other than his parents or those whom his parents have freed, then upon him is the curse of Allah and the angels until the Day of Judgment. No act of charity or justice will be accepted from him."
ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ وَالِدَيْهِ أَوْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ الَّذِينَ أَعْتَقُوهُ فَإِنَّ عَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةَ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ»
[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying, "Whoever curses his brother, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people." Al-Asamm here refers to Yazid bin Hurmuz, and Allah knows best.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَثَّلَ بِأَخِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ» الْأَصَمُّ يَعْنِي يَزِيدَ بْنَ هُرْمُزَ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever changes the boundaries of the earth, upon him is the curse of Allah and His wrath on the Day of Resurrection. Allah will not accept any compensation or justice from him."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ غَيَّرَ تُخُومَ الْأَرْضِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَغَضَبُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا يَقْبَلُ اللهُ مِنْهُ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا»
[AI] I was under the Prophet's camel while it was stumbling with its harness, and its saliva was resting between my shoulders. I heard him saying, "Verily, Allah has given every rightful person their right, and it is not permissible for an heir to have a will, and a child is for the bed [i.e., the biological father], and the stone [i.e., the child conceived out of wedlock] is for the adulterer. And whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father or claims to belong to someone other than his guardians obediently, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. His testament or adjustment will not be accepted."
كُنْتُ تَحْتَ نَاقَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهِيَ تَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا وَلُعَابُهَا يَتَوَسَّدُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَدْ أَعْطَى كُلَّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ وَلَا يَجُوزُ لِوَارِثٍ وَصِيَّةٌ وَالْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ وَمَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوِ انْتَمَى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ رَغْبَةً عَنْهُمْ فَعَلَيْهُ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ»
[AI] I witnessed the pilgrimage of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and I was among the neighbors of the camel of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , as it was grazing with its rope and its saliva was flowing between its shoulders. So I heard him saying, "Verily, Allah has given every rightful person his right. Verily, it is not permissible for a bequest to be made for an heir to the bed or for the prostitute. And whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father or attributes himself to someone other than his guardians, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. His word does not hold the power to change or amend anything."
شَهِدْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَجَّتَهُ وَإِنِّي لَبَيْنَ جِرَانِ نَاقَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهِيَ تَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا وَلُعَابُهَا يَسِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «أَلَا إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ أَعْطَى كُلَّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ أَلَا وَلَا تَجُوزُ وَصِيَّةٌ لِوَارِثٍ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ وَمَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوِ انْتَمَى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ»
[AI] I was holding the reins of the Messenger of Allah's camel, while it was staggering with its saddle blanket, and its saliva was dripping between its shoulders. Then I heard him say, "Indeed, Allah has given every rightful person their right. Verily, it is not permissible for a bequest to be made for an heir, and the child belongs to the bed. And whoever claims to be from someone other than his father and joins himself to other than his guardians, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. His expenditure and testimony will not be accepted from him."
كُنْتُ آخُذُ بِزِمَامِ نَاقَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهِيَ تَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا وَلُعَابُهَا يَسِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «أَلَا إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَدْ أَعْطَى كُلَّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ أَلَا إِنَّهُ لَا تَجُوزُ وَصِيَّةٌ لِوَارِثٍ وَالْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَمَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ وَانْتَمَى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ»
[AI] I witnessed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was giving a sermon, and he was on his mount in Mina, holding its reins while it was shaking its head, and its saliva was flowing between its shoulders. The Prophet ﷺ said, "O people, indeed Allah has allotted for every individual their share of inheritance, and it is not permissible for an heir to make a will. Verily, the child belongs to the bed and the stone belongs to the fornicator. Whoever claims someone other than his father or chooses guardians other than his rightful guardians out of their love, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people."
شَهِدْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ وَهُوَ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ بِمِنًى وَهُوَ آخِذٌ بِخِطَامِهَا وَهِيَ تَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا وَإِنَّ لُعَابَهَا يَسِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ «أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ اللهَ قَسَمَ لِكُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ نَصِيبَهُ مِنَ الْمِيرَاثِ وَلَا تَجُوزُ لِوَارِثٍ وَصِيَّةٌ أَلَا إِنَّ الْوَلَدَ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ مَنِ ادَّعَى لِغَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ رَغْبَةً عَنْهُمْ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Indeed, Allah has given every rightful person his right, and it is not permissible for a will to be made for the heirs, whether they be legitimate offspring or illegitimate offspring, and for the adulterer the stone, and for whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father or to belong to someone other than his guardians, upon him is the curse of Allah." And he did not mention a month or Abdulrahman bin Ghanem.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ أَعْطَى كُلَّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ لَا تَجُوزُ وَصِيَّةٌ لِوَارِثٍ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ وَمَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوِ انْتَمَى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ» وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ شَهْرًا وَلَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ غَنْمٍ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us on the Day of Victory until those who were after him gathered around him. He called out to them in a voice that could be heard by all and said, "O people, indeed Allah has been good to you and has returned to each rightful person their right. Verily, there is no bequest for the heir after my position. This child belongs to the bed and the stone belongs to the adulterer. Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father or supports someone other than his guardians, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of the people on the Day of Resurrection. No release or compensation will be accepted from him." Then he turned away, and the people dispersed.
وَقَفَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الفَتْحِ حَتَّى اجْتَمَعَ إِلَيْهِ مَنْ بَعُدَ فَنَادَى بِصَوْتٍ أَسْمَعَهُمْ فَقَالَ «أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ أَحْسَنَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَرَدَّ إِلَى كُلِّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ أَلَا إِنَّهَا لَا وَصِيَّةَ لِوَارِثٍ بَعْدَ مَوْقِفِي هَذَا الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهُ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا يَُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ» ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ وَانْصَرَفَ النَّاسُ
[AI] I was standing in front of the Prophet ﷺ during the Hajj, and the foam of his camel fell on my back. I heard him say, "Give everyone their due rights. The child belongs to the bed, and the adulterer must be stoned. And whoever claims to be the child of someone other than his father, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people. His testimony will not be accepted, nor will his intercession."
إِنِّي لَبَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْحَجِّ وَإِنَّ زَبَدَ نَاقَتِهِ لَيَقَعُ عَلَى ظَهْرِي فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «أَدُّوا إِلَى كُلِّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ وَالْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ وَمَنْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ أَوِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ فَعَلَيْهُ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ»
