The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a man washing in a public place without a lower garment. So he mounted the pulpit, praised and extolled Allah and said: Allah is characterised by modesty and concealment. So when any of you washes, he should conceal himself.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَأَى رَجُلاً يَغْتَسِلُ بِالْبَرَازِ بِلاَ إِزَارٍ فَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ ﷻ حَيِيٌّ سِتِّيرٌ يُحِبُّ الْحَيَاءَ وَالسَّتْرَ فَإِذَا اغْتَسَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَتِرْ

'Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, is forbearing, modest and concealing, and He loves modesty and concealment. When any one of you performs Ghusl, let him conceal himself.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَأَى رَجُلاً يَغْتَسِلُ بِالْبَرَازِ فَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ ﷻ حَلِيمٌ حَيِيٌّ سِتِّيرٌ يُحِبُّ الْحَيَاءَ وَالسَّتْرَ فَإِذَا اغْتَسَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَتِرْ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Allah loves concealment, so when any one of you performs Ghusl let him conceal himself with something.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ ﷻ سِتِّيرٌ فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ فَلْيَتَوَارَ بِشَىْءٍ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Allah loves concealment, so when any one of you performs Ghusl let him conceal himself with something.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 407)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ حَيِيٌّ سِتِّيرٌ فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ فَلْيَتَوَارَى بِشَيْءٍ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you wakes up in the morning and has not performed the Witr prayer, let them perform it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَصْبَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَلَمْ يُوتِرْ فَلْيُوتِرْ»

"إِنَّ الله حَييُّ حَليِمٌ ستِّيرٌ، فإِذا اغْتَسَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتتِرْ ولوْ بِجِذْمِ حَائِطٍ".

"إِنَّ الله تعالى ﷻ حييٌّ سِتيرٌ، يُحبُّ الْحَيَاءَ وَالسَّتْرَ، فإذا اغْتَسَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فليَسْتَتِرْ".

"يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ: إِنَّ اللهَ -تَعَالَى- حَيِىٌّ كَرِيمٌ، فَإِذَا اغْتَسَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَتِرْ".

"عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيه، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَأَى رَجُلًا يَغْتَسِلُ فِى صَحْنِ الدَّلْوِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ اللهَ حَيِيٌّ حَلِيمٌ سِتِّيرٌ، فَإِذَا اغْتَسَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَتِرْ، وَلَوْ بِجِذْمِ حَائِطٍ (*) ".
