("إِنَّ الله تَعَالى حيَّا محمدًا وأُمَّتَهُ بِغَيرِ هَذ التَّحِيَّة، بِالتَّسْلِيم بَعْضُهَا على بعض".  

أبو نعيم، والديلمى، عن عبد النجار بن الحارث بن مالك، قال: وفدت على رسول الله ﷺ فحيَّيتُه بتحيَّةِ الْعرَبِ، فَقُلتُ: انْعَمْ صَبَاحًا ، قال: فذكره)
