[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The one killed in the cause of Allah is a martyr, and the one who dies due to a plague is a martyr, and the one who dies due to a stomach illness is a martyr, and whoever dies in the cause of Allah is a martyr."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْقَتِيلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِشَهِيدٌ وَالْمَطْعُونُ شَهِيدٌ وَالْمَبْطُونُ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ  

Whom do you consider to be a martyr among you? They (the Companions) said: Messenger, of Allah, one who is slain in the way of Allah is a martyr. He said: Then (if this is the definition of a martyr) the martyrs of my Umma will be small in number. They asked: Messenger of Allah, who are they? He said: One who is slain in the way of Allah is a martyr; one who dies in the way of Allah, is a martyr; one who dies of plague is a martyr; one who dies of cholera is a martyr. Ibn Miqsam said: I testify the truth of your father's statement (with regard to this tradition) that the Prophet ﷺ said: One who is drowned is a martyr. (Using translation from Muslim 1915a)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ تَعُدُّونَ الشُّهَدَاءَ فِيكُمْ؟ » قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ قَالَ «إِنَّ شُهَدَاءَ أُمَّتِي إِذًا لَقَلِيلٌ» قَالُوا مَنْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي الطَّاعُونِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي بَطْنٍ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allahﷺ said, "Who do you consider as martyrs among you?" They said, "Those who are killed in the cause of Allah." He saidﷺ "And whoever dies in the cause of Allah is a martyr, and whoever dies from the plague is a martyr."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ تَعُدُّونَ الشُّهَدَاءَ فِيكُمْ؟ » قَالُوا مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ قَالَ ﷺ «وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي طَاعُونٍ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»  

"مَن قُتِلَ في سَبيلِ الله فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ، وَمَنَ غَرِقَ في سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَهُوَ شَهيدٌ، وَمَنْ قَتَلَهُ الْبَطن فَهُوَ شَهيدٌ، والمرْأَةُ يَقْتُلُهَا نفَاسُهَا شَهيدَةٌ".
