[AI] What is wrong with them? They said they are fleeing from the plague. He said, "Oh plague, take me to you." His cousin said to him, "Do you wish for death?" He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Wish for death at six occasions: during the reign of fools, when seeking power, when being careless with bloodshed, when making excessive conditions, when severing family ties, and when people make the Quran songs, preferring someone to sing it for them even though they are not the most knowledgeable among them.'"

مَا لَهُمْ؟ قَالُوا يَفِرُّونَ مِنَ الطَّاعُونِ فَقَالَ يَا طَاعُونُ خُذْنِي إِلَيْكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ ابْنُ عَمٍّ لَهُ أَتَتَمَنَّى الْمَوْتَ؟ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ تَمَنَّوُا الْمَوْتَ عِنْدَ خِصَالٍ سِتٍّ عِنْدَ إِمَارَةِ السُّفَهَاءِ وَبَيْعِ الْحُكْمِ واسْتِخْفَافٍ بِالدَّمِ وَكَثْرَةِ الشُّرَطِ وَقَطِيعَةِ الرَّحِمِ وَنَشْوٍ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْقُرْآنَ مَزَامِيرَ يُقَدِّمُونَ الرَّجُلَ لِيُغَنِّيَهُمْ وَلَيْسَ بِأَفْقَهِهِمْ زَادَ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْإِسْنَادِ عُلَيْمًا الْكِنْدِيِّ

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "I fear for you six things: the rule of the foolish, bloodshed, selling of positions of authority, severing of family ties, people who take the Quran as songs, and an abundance of false oaths."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ سِتًّا إِمَارَةُ السُّفَهَاءِ وَسَفْكُ الدِّمَاءِ وَبَيْعُ الْحُكْمِ وَقَطِيعَةُ الرَّحِمِ وَنَشْوٌ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْقُرْآنَ مَزَامِيرَ وَكَثْرَةُ الشُّرَطِ

"أخاف عليكم ستًا: إمارةَ السُّفهاء، وَسفْكَ الدم، وبيع الحكْم، وقطيعةَ الرَّحمِ، ونَشأ يتخذونَ القرآن مزاميرَ، وكثرة الشُّرَط .

"تَمَنَّوُا الْمَوتَ عِندَ خصالٍ سِت: عند إمَارَةِ السُّفَهَاءِ وبَيعْ الحُكْم، وَاستِخْفَاف بالدَّم، وَكثْرَةِ الشُّرَطِ، وقَطِيعةِ الرًّحِم، وَنَشْءٍ يَتَّخِذونَ الْقُرآنَ مَزَامِيرَ يُقدِّمُونَ الرَّجُلَ لِيُغنِّيَهَمْ، وَليْسَ بأَفقههِمْ".

"عَنْ زَازانَ قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ عَابسٍ الغِفَارِىِّ، فَقَالَ عَابسٌ: إِنِّى أعْرِفُ خِصالًا سَمعْتُ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ ليَتَخَوَّفُهُنَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِهِ، قِيلَ: مَا هُنَّ؟ قَالَ: إمْرَةُ

السُّفَهَاءِ، وَبَيْعُ الحُكْم، وَكَثْرةُ الشُّرَطِ، وَقَطِيعَةُ الرَّحِم، وَاسْتِخْفَافٌ بِالدَّم، وَنَشْوٌ يَتَّخِذُونَ القُرآنَ مَزَامِيرَ، يُقَدِّمُونَ أَحَدَهُمْ لَيْسَ بِأَفْضَلِهِمْ وَلاَ بِأهَمِّهِمْ فِى الدِّينِ إِلَّا لِيُغْنِّيِهُمْ غِنَاءً".
