"Jumu'ah prayer is two rak'ahs, and the prayer of Al-Fitr is two rak'ahs, and the prayer of Al-Adha is two rak'ahs, and the prayer when traveling is two rak'ahs, complete and not shortened, on the tongue of Muhammad ﷺ."  

عُمَرُ صَلاَةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلاَةُ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلاَةُ الأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلاَةُ السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ عُمَرَ  

"The prayer for jumu'ah is two rak'ahs, and for Al-Fitr is two rak'ahs, and for An-Nahr is two rak'ahs, and for traveling is two rak'ahs, complete and not shortened, on the tongue of the Prophet ﷺ."  

صَلاَةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَالْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَالنَّحْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَالسَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ  

"The prayer of Al-Adha is two rak'ahs, the prayer of Al-Fitr is two rak'ahs, the prayer of the traveler is two rak'ahs and the jumu'ah prayer is two rak'ahs, complete and not shortened, upon the tongue of the Prophet ﷺ.  

صَلاَةُ الأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلاَةُ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلاَةُ الْمُسَافِرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلاَةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ لَيْسَ بِقَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ  

“The prayer while traveling is two Rak’ah, and Friday is two Rak’ah, and ‘Eid is two Rak’ah. They are complete and are not shortened, as told by Muhammad ﷺ.”  

صَلاَةُ السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَالْجُمُعَةُ رَكْعَتَانِ وَالْعِيدُ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ  

“The prayer when traveling is two Rak’ah, and Friday is two Rak’ah, and Al-Fitr and Al-Adha are two Rak’ah, complete, not shortened, as told by Muhammad ﷺ.”  

صَلاَةُ السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلاَةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَالْفِطْرُ وَالأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ  

The prayer when travelling is two rakʿahs, the prayer of [Eid] ul-Adha is two rakʿahs, the prayer of [Eid] ul-Fitr is two rakʿahs and the prayer of Jumuʿah is two rakʿahs, complete not shortened, as stated by Muhammad ﷺ, Sufyan said: On one occasion Zubaid said: I think he was narrating it from ʼUmar. ‘Abdur-Rahman said: Without a doubt. Yazeed - i.e., bin Haroon bin Abi Laila - said: l heard ʿUmar.  

صَلاةُ السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلاةُ الْأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلاةُ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ  

[Machine] "The prayer of travel, the prayer of breaking the fast, the prayer of sacrifice, and the Friday prayer consist of two complete units of prayer, not shortened, as mentioned by your Prophet ﷺ."  

«صَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ وَصَلَاةُ الْفِطْرِ وَصَلَاةُ الْأَضْحَى وَصَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ»  

The prayer when travelling is two rakʿahs, the prayer of [Eid] ul-Adha is two rakʿahs, the prayer of [Eid] ul-Fitr is two rakʿahs and the prayer of Jumuʿah is two rakʿahs, complete not shortened, as stated by Muhammad ﷺ, Sufyan said: On one occasion Zubaid said: I think he was narrating it from ʼUmar. ‘Abdur-Rahman said: Without a doubt. "The prayer of Al-Adha is two rak'ahs, the prayer of Al-Fitr is two rak'ahs, the prayer of the traveler is two rak'ahs and the jumu'ah prayer is two rak'ahs, complete and not shortened, upon the tongue of the Prophet ﷺ. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1566)  

قَالَ عُمَرُ «صَلَاةُ الْمُسَافِرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ وَلَيْسَ بِقَصَرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»

«الْأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْمُسَافِرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ لَيْسَ بِقَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ»  

"The prayer of Al-Adha is two rak'ahs, the prayer of Al-Fitr is two rak'ahs, the prayer of the traveler is two rak'ahs and the jumu'ah prayer is two rak'ahs, complete and not shortened, upon the tongue of the Prophet ﷺ. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1566)

"The prayer of Al-Adha is two rak'ahs, the prayer of Al-Fitr is two rak'ahs, the prayer of the traveler is two rak'ahs and the jumu'ah prayer is two rak'ahs, complete and not shortened, upon the tongue of the Prophet ﷺ. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1566)  

«صَلَاةُ الْأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْمُسَافِرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ لَيْسَ بِقَصَرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ»  

[Machine] Umar said: The prayer of the Eid al-Adha consists of two units, and the prayer of the Eid al-Fitr consists of two units, and the prayer of Friday consists of two units, and the prayer of a traveler consists of two units, complete and not shortened. Ath-Thawri narrated it from Zubaid, but he did not mention Ka'b ibn 'Ujrah in its chain except that he raised it at the end.  

قَالَ عُمَرُ ؓ صَلَاةُ الْأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْمُسَافِرِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ وَرَوَاهُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ فَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِي إِسْنَادِهِ كَعْبَ بْنَ عُجْرَةَ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ رَفَعَهُ بِآخِرِهِ  

[Machine] The Friday prayer consists of two units, the Eid prayer consists of two units, and the traveler's prayer consists of two units, which are complete and not shortened, according to the saying of your Prophet ﷺ , narrated by Yahya al-Qattan from Sufyan from Zubaid from Ibn Abi Layla from Al-Thaqafi from Umar.  

صَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْمُسَافِرِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ وَرَوَاهُ يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لِيَلِي عَنِ الثِّقَةِ عَنْ عُمَرَ  

"صَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ، وَصَلَاةُ الضُّحَى رَكْعَتَانِ، وَصَلَاةُ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ، وَصَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ ".
