“The prayer while traveling is two Rak’ah, and Friday is two Rak’ah, and ‘Eid is two Rak’ah. They are complete and are not shortened, as told by Muhammad ﷺ.”

"The prayer for jumu'ah is two rak'ahs, and for Al-Fitr is two rak'ahs, and for An-Nahr is two rak'ahs, and for traveling is two rak'ahs, complete and not shortened, on the tongue of the Prophet ﷺ."

Yazeed - i.e., bin Haroon bin Abi Laila - said: l heard ʿUmar.

قَالَ عُمَرُ «صَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ»
"صَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ، وَصَلَاةُ الضُّحَى رَكْعَتَانِ، وَصَلَاةُ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ، وَصَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ ".
