Hatib will definitely go to Hell. (But) Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: You tell a lie; he would not get into that for he had taken part in Badr and in (the expedition of) Hudaibiya.
أَنَّ عَبْدًا لِحَاطِبٍ جَاءَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَشْكُو حَاطِبًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَيَدْخُلَنَّ حَاطِبٌ النَّارَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَذَبْتَ لاَ يَدْخُلُهَا فَإِنَّهُ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَالْحُدَيْبِيَةَ
from Jabir, that a slave of Hatib [bin Abi Balt'ah] came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ complaining about Hatib. So he said: 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! Hatib is going to enter the Fire!' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'You have lied! No one who participated in (the battle of) Badr and (the treaty of) Al-Hudaybiyah shall enter it.'"
أَنَّ عَبْدًا لِحَاطِبِ بْنِ أَبِي بَلْتَعَةَ جَاءَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَشْكُو حَاطِبًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَيَدْخُلَنَّ حَاطِبٌ النَّارَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَذَبْتَ لاَ يَدْخُلُهَا فَإِنَّهُ قَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَالْحُدَيْبِيَةَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

أَنَّ عَبْدًا لِحَاطِبٍ جَاءَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَشْتَكِي حَاطِبًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَيَدْخُلَنَّ حَاطِبٌ النَّارَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كَذَبْتَ لَا يَدْخُلُهَا فَإِنَّهُ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَالْحُدَيْبِيَةَ
[Machine] "By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, Hattib will enter the Hellfire." So the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said to him, "You have lied. He will never enter it. He has witnessed Badr and Hudaybiyah."
وَاللهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَيَدْخُلَنَّ حَاطِبٌ النَّارَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كَذَبْتَ لَا يَدْخُلُهَا أَبَدًا قَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَالْحُدَيْبِيَةَ

[Machine] A woodcutter's boy came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "By Allah, the woodcutter will not enter Paradise." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You have lied. He witnessed the Battle of Badr and Al-Hudaybiyyah."
جَاءَ غُلَامُ حَاطِبٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ وَاللهِ لَا يَدْخُلُ حَاطِبٌ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «كَذَبْتَ إِنَّهُ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وْالْحُدَيْبِيَةَ»

" عَنْ جَابرٍ: أَنَّ عَبْدَ حَاطِبِ بْنِ أَبِى بَلْتَعَةَ أَتَى رَسُولَ الله ﷺ يَشْتَكِى حَاطِبًا فَقالَ: يَارَسُولَ الله! لَيَدْخُلَنَّ حَاطِبٌ النَّارَ؟ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ ! كَذَبْتَ، لاَ يَدْخُلُهَا، إِنَّهُ قَدْ شَهِدَ بِدْرًا، وَالْحُدَيْبِيَةَ ".
