There are one hundred (parts of) mercy for Allah and He has sent down out of these one part of mercy upon the jinn and human beings and animals and the insects, and it is because of this (one part) that they love one another, show kindness to one another and even the beast treats its young one with affection, and Allah has reserved ninety nine parts of mercy with which He would treat His servants on the Day of Resurrection.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ أَنْزَلَ مِنْهَا رَحْمَةً وَاحِدَةً بَيْنَ الْجِنِّ وَالإِنْسِ وَالْبَهَائِمِ وَالْهَوَامِّ فَبِهَا يَتَعَاطَفُونَ وَبِهَا يَتَرَاحَمُونَ وَبِهَا تَعْطِفُ الْوَحْشُ عَلَى وَلَدِهَا وَأَخَّرَ اللَّهُ تِسْعًا وَتِسْعِينَ رَحْمَةً يَرْحَمُ بِهَا عِبَادَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Verily, there are one hundred (parts of) mercy for Allah, and it is one part of this mercy by virtue of which there is mutual love between the people and ninety-nine reserved for the Day of Resurrection.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ فَمِنْهَا رَحْمَةٌ بِهَا يَتَرَاحَمُ الْخَلْقُ بَيْنَهُمْ وَتِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

Verily, Allah created, on the same very day when He created the heavens and the earth, one hundred parts of mercy. Every part of mercy is coextensive with the space between the heavens. and the earth and He out of this mercy endowed one part to the earth and it is because of this that the mother shows affection to her child and even the beasts and birds show kindness to one another and when there would be the Day of Resurrection, Allah would make full (use of Mercy).

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ كُلُّ رَحْمَةٍ طِبَاقَ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ فَجَعَلَ مِنْهَا فِي الأَرْضِ رَحْمَةً فَبِهَا تَعْطِفُ الْوَالِدَةُ عَلَى وَلَدِهَا وَالْوَحْشُ وَالطَّيْرُ بَعْضُهَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ أَكْمَلَهَا بِهَذِهِ الرَّحْمَةِ

“Allah has one hundred (degrees of) mercy, of which He has shared one between all of creation, by virtue of which you show mercy and compassion towards one another and the wild animals show compassion towards their young. And He has kept back ninety-nine (degrees of) mercy by virtue of which He will show mercy to His slaves on the Day of Resurrection.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4293)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لِلَّهِ مِائَةُ رَحْمَةٍ أَنْزَلَ مِنْهَا رَحْمَةً وَاحِدَةً بَيْنَ الْإِنْسِ وَالْجِنِّ وَالْهَوَامِّ فَبِهَا يَتَعَاطَفُونَ وَبِهَا يَتَرَاحَمُونَ وَبِهَا تَعْطِفُ الْوَحْشُ عَلَى أَوْلَادِهَا وَأَخَّرَ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ يَرْحَمُ بِهَا عِبَادَهُ

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Indeed, Allah created one hundred mercies. From one mercy, the creation shows mercy amongst themselves, and by it, animals show compassion to their offspring. And He has reserved ninety-nine mercies until the Day of Resurrection."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ خَلَقَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍفَمِنْهَا رَحْمَةٌ يَتَرَاحَمُ بِهَا الْخَلْقُ وَبِهَا تَعْطِفُ الْوُحُوشُ عَلَى أَوْلَادِهَا وَأَخَّرَ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: 'Verily, Allah created on the day He created the heavens and the earth, one hundred mercies. Each mercy fills what is between the heavens and the earth. He divided among His creation one mercy by which the mother shows compassion towards her child, and by which the wild animals and birds drink water. And it is by this mercy that creatures show compassion towards one another. And on the Day of Resurrection, He will reserve it for the believers and increase them by ninety-nine.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ كُلُّ رَحْمَةٍ مِلْءُ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَقَسَمَ مِنْهَا رَحْمَةً بَيْنَ الْخَلَائِقِ بِهَا تَعْطِفُ الْوَالِدَةُ عَلَى وَلَدِهَا وَبِهَا يَشْرَبُ الْوَحْشُ وَالطَّيْرُ الْمَاءَ وَبِهَا يَتَرَاحَمُ الْخَلَائِقُ فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ قَصَرَهَا عَلَى الْمُتَّقِينَ وَزَادَهُمْ تِسْعًا وَتِسْعِينَ»

“On the day when He created the heavens and the earth, Allah created one hundred (degrees of) mercy, of which He placed one on earth, by virtue of which mothers show compassion to their children and animals as well as the birds show compassion to one another. And He kept back ninety-nine (degrees of) mercy. When the Day of Resurrection comes, Allah will complete this mercy.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4294)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ طِبَاقَ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَجَعَلَ فِي الْأَرْضِ مِنْهَا رَحْمَةً فَبِهَا تَعْطِفُ الْوَالِدَةُ عَلَى وَلَدِهَا وَالْوَحْشُ بَعْضُهَا بَعْضًا وَأَخَّرَ تِسْعًا وَتِسْعِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ أَكْمَلَهَا بِهَذِهِ الرَّحْمَةِ مِائَةً»

عن أبي هريرة ؓ رفعه قال إنَّ الله تبارك وتعالى خلق مئة رحمة فجعل منها رحمة واحدة فقسمها بين خلقه وأمسك تسعة وتسعين إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "Indeed, Allah created one hundred units of mercy, one unit of which has been sent down upon the creatures and through which they have mutual mercy between themselves, and ninety-nine units are stored for the Day of Resurrection."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللهَ خَلَقَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ رَحْمَةٌ مِنْهَا يَتَرَاحَمُ بِهَا هَذَا الْخَلْقُ وَتِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah created on the day He created the heavens and the earth one hundred mercies. Each mercy encompasses what is between the heaven and the earth. Among them is one mercy in which the mother shows compassion to her child, and the wild animals show kindness to each other. And He kept ninety-nine mercies until the Day of Resurrection."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ خَلَقَ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ كُلُّ رَحْمَةٍ طِبَاقُ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ مِنْهَا رَحْمَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فِيهَا تَعْطِفُ الْوَالِدَةُ عَلَى وَلَدِهَا وَالْوَحْشُ بَعْضُهَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَأَخَّرَ تِسْعًا وَتِسْعِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah created one hundred mercies, with one mercy being between His creation that they show mercy to one another, and He has kept ninety-nine mercies for His righteous servants."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ «اللهَ تَعَالَى خَلَقَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ فَرَحْمَةٌ بَيْنَ خَلْقِهِ يَتَرَاحَمُونَ بِهَا وَادَّخَرَ لِأَوْلِيَائِهِ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ»

"إِنَّ الله تَعَالى خَلَقَ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّموات والأرضَ مائةَ رَحْمَةٍ، كُلُّ رَحْمَة طِبَاقُ مَا بَينَ السَّماءِ والأَرْضِ، فَجَعَل مِنْها فِي الأَرْضِ رحْمَة، فَبِهَا تَعْطِفُ الوَالِدَةُ

عَلَى وَلَدِها، وَالْوَحشُ والطَّيرُ بَعْضُها عَلى بعْض، وأَخَّرَ تِسْعًا وتسْعينَ، فَإِذَا كَان يَوْمُ الْقيامَةِ أَكمَلها بِهذِه الرَّحْمَةِ ".

"إِنَّ الله تَعَالى خَلَقَ مائةَ رَحْمَةٍ: رَحْمَةً مِنْها قَسَمَها بَينَ الْخَلائِق، وتسعة وتِسْعِينَ إِلى يَوْم القِيَامَةِ".

"إِنَّ الله تَعَالى خَلَقَ مائَةَ رَحْمَة، كُلُّ رَحْمَةٍ مِلءُ ما بَينَ السَّمَاءِ والأَرْضِ، قَسَمَ مِنْها رَحْمَةً بَين الْخَلائِق بِهَا تَعْطِفُ الْوَالِدةُ عَلَى وَلَدِها، وَبِهَا تَشْرَبُ

الوحْشُ والطَّيْرُ الماءَ، وَبِهَا يَتَرَاحَمُ الخَلَائِقُ، فَإِذا كَانَ يَوْمُ القيَامَةِ قَصَرها عَلَى الْمُتَّقِينَ، وَزَادهُم تِسْعًا وتِسْعِينَ".

"إِنَّ الله تَعَالى خَلَقَ مَائَةَ رَحْمَة فَرَحْمَةٌ بَينَ خَلقِه يَتَرَاحمُونَ بِهَا، وادخرَ لأَوليائِه تِسْعَةً وتسْعِينَ".

"إِنَّ الله خَلقَ مائَةَ رحْمةٍ فبَثَّ بَينَ خَلقِهِ رَحْمَةً وَاحِدَةً فَهمْ يَتَراحمُون بها، وادَّخرَ عِنْده لأوْلِيَائِه تِسْعَةً وتسْعِينَ".

"إِنَّ للَّهِ ﷻ مائَةَ رحمة، أَنزل منها رحمةً واحدةً بين الجن والإِنس والبهائِم والهوامِّ، فَبِهَا يَتَعَاطَفُون، وَبَهَا يَتَرَاحَمُونَ، وبها تَعْطِفُ الوحشُ على وَلَدِهَا، وَأَخَّرَ اللَّهُ تِسْعًا وتِسْعِينَ رَحْمَةً، يَرْحَمُ بِهَا عبادَهُ يومَ القيامةِ".

"إِنَّ للَّهِ تعالى مائةَ رحمة، منها رحمةٌ تَتَراحَمُ بها الخلقُ، وتسعة وتسعين ليوم القيامِة".

"إِنَّ الله تَعَالَى خَلَقَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَواتِ وَالأَرْضَ كُلُّ رَحْمَةٍ مِنْها طِباقُ مَا بَيْنَ السَّماءِ وَالأرضِ، فَأَهْبَطَ رَحْمَةً منْها إِلَى الأَرْضِ فَبِهَا تَرَاحَمَ الْخَلْقُ، وَبِها تَعْطِفُ الوَالِدةُ عَلَى وَلَدِها، وبِها يَشْرَبُ الطَّيْرُ وَالْوَحْشُ مِنَ الماءِ، وَبِها تَعِيشُ الْخلَائِقُ، فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيامَةِ انْتَزَعَهَا مِنْ خَلْقِهِ، ثُمَّ اقْتَصَرَها عَلَى النَّبيِّينَ، وَزَادَهُمْ تِسْعًا وَتِسْعِينَ رَحْمَةً، ثُمَّ قَرأَ: {وَرَحْمَتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَسَأَكْتُبُهَا لِلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ (* *)} ".
