A woman got into Hell-Fire because of a cat whom she had tied, and thus it could not eat, and she did not let it free so that it could devour the vermin of the earth, until it died.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ مِنْ جَرَّاءِ هِرَّةٍ لَهَا أَوْ هِرٍّ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلاَ هِيَ أَطْعَمَتْهَا وَلاَ هِيَ أَرْسَلَتْهَا تُرَمِّمُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الأَرْضِ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ هَزْلاً

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَتِ النَّارَ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ جَرَّاءِ هِرَّةٍ لَهَا أَوْ هِرٍّ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَا هِيَ أَطْعَمَتْهَا وَلَا هِيَ أَرْسَلَتْهَا تُرَمِّمُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ هَزْلًا

“A woman entered Hell because of a cat which she tied up and did not feed, or let it loose to eat of the vermin of the earth, until it died.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4256)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ دَخَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَا هِيَ أَطْعَمَتْهَا وَلَا هِيَ أَرْسَلَتْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ ذَلِكَ أَنْ لَا يَتَّكِلَ رَجُلٌ وَلَا يَيْأَسَ رَجُلٌ

A woman was tormented because of a cat which she had tied and thus allowed it neither to eat or drink nor set it free so that it might eat the vermin of the earth. (Using translation from Muslim 2242f)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَسْقِهَا وَلَمْ تُرْسِلْهَا فَتَأْكُلَمِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ

[Machine] I heard Abu Al-Qasim ﷺ saying: "A woman entered the hellfire because of a cat that she tied up, did not feed, did not give water, and did not let it go to eat from the insects of the earth."

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ يَقُولُ دَخَلَتْ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرٍّ أَوْ هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَسْقِهَا وَلَمْ تُرْسِلْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ

“A woman entered Hell because of a cat which she tied up and did not feed, or let it loose to eat of the vermin of the earth, until it died.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4256)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَتْ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرٍّ أَوْ هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَا هِيَ أَطْعَمَتْهَا وَلَا هِيَ أَرْسَلَتْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ فِي رِبَاطِهَا هَزْلًا

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman was tied up a cat, neither feeding her nor letting her eat from the vermin of the earth, so she was thrown into the Fire."

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَبَطَتْ امْرَأَةٌ هِرًّا أَوْ هِرَّةًفَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَتْرُكْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ فَأُدْخِلَتِ النَّارَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman entered the Hellfire because of a cat. It was said to her, 'Did you not feed it or give it water? And did you not let it eat from the scraps of the earth?

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ فَقِيلَ لَا أَنْتِ أَطْعَمْتِيهَا وَسَقَيْتِيهَا وَلَا أَنْتِ أَرْسَلْتِيهَا فَتَأْكُلَ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ

“A woman entered Hell because of a cat which she tied up and did not feed, or let it loose to eat of the vermin of the earth, until it died.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4256)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «دَخَلْتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَا هِيَ أَطْعَمَتْهَا وَلَا هِيَ أَرْسَلَتْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ»

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman entered the Fire because of a cat that she had tied up and did not feed, nor did she let it eat from the vermin of the earth until it died."

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ مِنْ جَرَّاءِ هِرَّةٍ لَهَا رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَا هِيَ أَطْعَمَتْهَا وَلَا هِيَ أَرْسَلَتْهَا تُقَمِّمُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ هَزْلًا

'You did not feed it nor give it water when you imprisoned it nor did you release it and let it eat from the plants of the earth."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ عُذِّبَتِ امْرَأَةٌ فِي هِرَّةٍ حَبَسَتْهَا حَتَّى مَاتَتْ جُوعًا فَدَخَلَتِ فِيهَا النَّارَ يُقَالُ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ لاَ أَنْتِ أَطْعَمْتِيهَا وَلاَ سَقِيتِيهَا حِينَ حَبَسْتِيهَا وَلاَ أَنْتِ أَرْسَلْتِيهَا فَأَكَلَتْ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الأَرْضِ

"دَخَلَتِ امْرَأةٌ النَّارَ فِى هِرَّة رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَم تُطعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَدَعْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الأَرْضِ حَتَّى مَاتَت".
