A woman was punished because of a cat. She had neither provided her with food nor drink, nor set her free so that she might eat the vermin of the earth.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ عُذِّبَتِ امْرَأَةٌ فِي هِرَّةٍ لَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَسْقِهَا وَلَمْ تَتْرُكْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الأَرْضِ

A woman was tormented because of a cat which she had tied and thus allowed it neither to eat or drink nor set it free so that it might eat the vermin of the earth. (Using translation from Muslim 2242f)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَسْقِهَا وَلَمْ تُرْسِلْهَا فَتَأْكُلَمِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman was punished for imprisoning a cat and not feeding it or letting it eat from the insects of the earth."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عُذِّبَتْ امْرَأَةٌ فِي هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تُرْسِلْهَا فَتَأْكُلَ مِنْ حَشَرَاتِ الْأَرْضِ

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman was tied up a cat, neither feeding her nor letting her eat from the vermin of the earth, so she was thrown into the Fire."

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَبَطَتْ امْرَأَةٌ هِرًّا أَوْ هِرَّةًفَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَتْرُكْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ فَأُدْخِلَتِ النَّارَ

[Machine] I heard Abu Al-Qasim ﷺ saying: "A woman entered the hellfire because of a cat that she tied up, did not feed, did not give water, and did not let it go to eat from the insects of the earth."

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ يَقُولُ دَخَلَتْ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرٍّ أَوْ هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَسْقِهَا وَلَمْ تُرْسِلْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ

[Machine] On the authority of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he said, "A woman entered the Fire (Hell) because of a cat that she tied up and did not allow it to eat from the insects of the earth."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَال دَخَلَتِ النَّارَ امْرَأَةٌ فِي هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَمْ تَدَعْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ

[Machine] "On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , a woman entered the fire because of a cat that she tied up and did not allow to eat or drink until it died."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً دَخَلَتِ النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَمْ تَدَعْهَا تُصِيبُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَسْقِهَا حَتَّى مَاتَتْ

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said: 'A woman was punished in Hell because she tied up a cat and did not feed it or allow it to eat from the earth's vegetation.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «عُذِّبَتِ امْرَأَةٌ فِي هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَدَعْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ»

قال عذبت امراة في هرة أوثقتها لم تطعمها ولم تسقها ولم تدعها تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الأَرْضِوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عن عاصم عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة إلا إسرائيل

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم عذبت امرأة في هِرَّة أمسكتها حتى ماتت من الجوع لم تطعمها ولم ترسلها فتأكل من خشاش الأرضوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة من طرق

الله عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال دخلت امرأة النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ أَوْثَقَتْهَا فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تتركها تأكل من خشاش الأرض

اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أحسبه قال إن امرأة ربطت هرة لها فلم تطعمها ولم تدعها تأكل من خشاش الأرض فماتت فأدخلها الله النار

اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دخلت امرأة النار في هرة ربطتها فلم تطعمها ولم تسقها ولم تدعها تأكل من خشاش الأرض

"دَخَلَتِ امْرَأةٌ النَّارَ فِى هِرَّة رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَم تُطعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَدَعْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الأَرْضِ حَتَّى مَاتَت".
