'(Sell) silver for silver, gold for gold, barley for barley, wheat for wheat, like for like."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْفِضَّةُ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَالذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالشَّعِيرُ بِالشَّعِيرِ وَالْحِنْطَةُ بِالْحِنْطَةِ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ
'(Sell) silver for silver, gold for gold, barley for barley, wheat for wheat, like for like."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْفِضَّةُ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَالذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالشَّعِيرُ بِالشَّعِيرِ وَالْحِنْطَةُ بِالْحِنْطَةِ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ
Gold is to be paid for by gold, silver by silver, wheat by wheat, barley by barley, dates by dates, and salt by salt, like for like and equal for equal, payment being made hand to hand. If these classes differ, then sell as you wish if payment is made hand to hand.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةُ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَالْبُرُّ بِالْبُرِّ وَالشَّعِيرُ بِالشَّعِيرِ وَالتَّمْرُ بِالتَّمْرِ وَالْمِلْحُ بِالْمِلْحِ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ سَوَاءً بِسَوَاءٍ يَدًا بِيَدٍ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفَتْ هَذِهِ الأَصْنَافُ فَبِيعُوا كَيْفَ شِئْتُمْ إِذَا كَانَ يَدًا بِيَدٍ
Gold is to be paid for by gold, silver by silver, wheat by wheat, barley by barley, dates by dates, salt by salt, like by like, payment being made hand to hand. He who made an addition to it, or asked for an addition, in fact dealt in usury. The receiver and the giver are equally guilty.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةُ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَالْبُرُّ بِالْبُرِّ وَالشَّعِيرُ بِالشَّعِيرِ وَالتَّمْرُ بِالتَّمْرِ وَالْمِلْحُ بِالْمِلْحِ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ يَدًا بِيَدٍ فَمَنْ زَادَ أَوِ اسْتَزَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى الآخِذُ وَالْمُعْطِي فِيهِ سَوَاءٌ
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (Allah be pleased with him) through another chain of transmitters.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِهِ
Dates are to be paid for by dates, wheat by wheat, barley by barley, salt by salt, like for like, payment being made on the spot. He who made an addition or demanded an addition, in fact, dealt in usury except in case where their classes differ.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ التَّمْرُ بِالتَّمْرِ وَالْحِنْطَةُ بِالْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرُ بِالشَّعِيرِ وَالْمِلْحُ بِالْمِلْحِ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ يَدًا بِيَدٍ فَمَنْ زَادَ أَوِ اسْتَزَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى إِلاَّ مَا اخْتَلَفَتْ أَلْوَانُهُ
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ prohibited selling gold for gold, silver for silver, wheat for wheat, dates for dates, barley for barley, and salt for salt, except in equal amounts and at the same time. Whoever adds more or asks for more has practiced usury.
إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الذَّهَبِ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَالْبُرِّ بِالْبُرِّ وَالتَّمْرِ بِالتَّمْرِ وَالشَّعِيرِ بِالشَّعِيرِ وَالْمِلْحِ بِالْمِلْحِ إِلَّا مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ سَوَاءً بِسَوَاءٍ فَمَنْ زَادَ أَوِ ازْدَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى»
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Gold for gold, weight for weight, like for like; and silver for silver, weight for weight, like for like. Whoever gives more or takes more has engaged in Riba."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4569)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْفِضَّةُ بِالْفِضَّةِ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ وَالذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ فَمَنْ زَادَ فَهُوَ رِبًا
[AI] Narrated by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he said, "Gold is bought with gold, silver is bought with silver, and paper money is bought with paper money, like for like, hand in hand. Whoever increases or is increased has indulged in riba (usury)."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Silver is exchanged with silver, and gold is exchanged with gold, equally with equal."

[AI] 'Ubada bin As-Samit said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade exchanging gold for gold, silver for silver, wheat for wheat, barley for barley, dates for dates, and salt for salt except in equal amounts. Whoever adds more or accepts more has engaged in usury." And the wording is from Muhammad.
قَالَ عُبَادَةُ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ الذَّهَبِ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَالْبُرِّ بِالْبُرِّ وَالشَّعِيرِ بِالشَّعِيرِ وَالتَّمْرِ بِالتَّمْرِ وَالْمِلْحِ بِالْمِلْحِ إِلَّا مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ سَوَاءً بِسَوَاءٍ فَمَنْ زَادَ أَوِ ازْدَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى» وَاللَّفْظُ لِمُحَمَّدٍ
"التَّمْرُ بالتَّمْرِ والحِنطةُ بالحِنْطَةِ والشَّعِيرُ بالشَّعير، والذهبُ بالذهَبِ، والفِضَّةُ بالفِضَّةِ، يدًا بيد، عَينًا بعَين، مِثْلًا بمِثْلِ، فَمَنْ زاد فهو ربا".
"التَّمْرُ بالتَّمْرِ، والحنْطَةُ بالحِنْطَةِ، والشعيرُ بالشَّعيرِ، والمِلحُ بالمِلح، مِثْلًا بمِثْلِ، يَدًا بِيَدٍ، فمن زادَ أو استزادَ فقد أَربى إِلا ما اخْتَلَفَتْ ألوانهُ".
"الذَّهبُ بالذَّهَبِ، والفضةُ بالفِضَّة، والبُرُّ بالبُرِّ، والشَّعِير بالشَّعِيرِ، والتَّمر بالتَّمْرِ، والمِلح بالمِلح، مِثْلًا بمثلٍ، سَواءً بسواءٍ، يدًا بيدٍ، فإِذا اخْتَلَفَتْ هذه الأَصنافُ، فَبِيعُوا كيفَ شِئْتُم إِذَا كانَ يدًا بيدٍ".
"الذَّهبُ بالذهب، والفضَّةُ بالفضة، والبُرُّ بِالبُرِّ، والشَّعِيرُ بالشَّعِير والتَّمْرُ بالتَّمرِ، وَالملْح بِالمِلْح، مِثْلًا يِمِثلٍ، يَدًا بِيِد، فَمَن زَادَ أَوْ اسْتَزَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى، والآخِذُ والمُعْطَى فِيهِ سَوَاءٌ".
"الْفِضَّةُ بالفِضَّةِ، والذَّهَبُ بالذَّهَب، والشَّعِيرُ بالْشَّعِيرِ، والْحِنْطَةُ بالحنطة مِثْلًا بمِثْلٍ" .
