"The Messenger of Allah embraced me and said: 'O Allah, teach him wisdom and the (correct) interpretation of the Book.'"

Once the Prophet ﷺ embraced me (pressed me to his chest) and said, "O Allah, teach him wisdom (i.e. the understanding of the knowledge of Qur'an).

The Prophet ﷺ embraced me and said, "O Allah! Teach him (the knowledge of) the Book (Qur'an)."

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ pulled me close to him and said: 'O Allah, teach him Al-Hikmah (wisdom)."  

الترمذي:٣٨٢٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَال حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ قَال أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

ahmad:3379 – Ismāʿīl > Khālid al-Ḥadhhāʾ > ʿIkrimah

[Machine] Ibn Abbas said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ embraced me and said, 'O Allah, teach him the book.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ guaranteed me and said, "O Allah, teach him wisdom."  

الطبراني:١١٩٦١ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ أَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ
