"The Messenger of Allah set a time limit for the traveler of three days, and if the questioner had persisted in asking, he would have made it five (days)." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 553)
[Machine] "About the Prophet ﷺ , he was asked about wiping over the slippers. He said, 'Three times for the traveler and one day for the resident.'"
[Machine] About wiping over the socks, the Prophet ﷺ said: "For the traveler, three days and nights, and for the resident, one day and night."
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ allowed us to wipe three times, even if we added more, it would increase."
[Machine] "A Bedouin asked the Prophet ﷺ about wiping (during ablution). He said, 'For a traveler, (wipe) for three days and nights, and for a resident, (wipe) for a day and a night.'"
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, and it was said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what do you think about a person who speaks, then performs ablution and wipes over his socks? Can he pray?' He replied, 'There is no problem with that.'"
"We prayed with Abdullah bin Mas'ud in his house. He stood between us and we placed our hands on our knees, but he took them off and made us interlace our fingers, and said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do that.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1030)
"Jarir bin 'Abdullah urinated, then he performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks. Someone asked him: 'Do you do this?' He said: 'Why shouldn't I? I saw the Messenger of Allah doing this.'" Ibrahim (who narrated it from Hammam) said: "They were pleased by the Hadith of Jarir because he accepted Islam after the revelation of Ma'idah." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 543)
We prayed Zuhr with ‘Ali ؓ , then he went to a gathering that he used to hold in ar-Rahbah. He sat and we sat around him, then the time for ‘Asr came. A vessel (of water) was brought to him. He took a handful from it and rinsed his mouth and nose, and he wiped his face and forearms, and he wiped his head, and he wiped his feet. Then he stood up and drank what was left over in the vessel. Then he said: I have been told that some men dislike anyone to drink whilst standing, but I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do what I have done. (Using translation from Aḥmad 1366)
[Machine] We prayed with Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, the afternoon prayer. Then we went out to the open area where he called for a container with a drink in it. He took it and rinsed his mouth, inhaled it into his nostrils, wiped his face, his arms, his head, and his feet. Then he drank the remaining of it while standing. Then he said, "Indeed, there are people who dislike to drink while standing. However, the Messenger of Allahﷺ performed similar to what I have done, and this is the ablution of one who did not invalidate it."
[Machine] "The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ wiped over his forehead, turban, and then wiped over his feet."
[Machine] "He saw the Prophet ﷺ performing ablution and wiping over the turban and socks."
[Machine] I was with Salman al-Farisi when he saw a man who had just broken wind and wanted to remove his socks for ablution. Salman said to him, "Wipe over them and your turban, for I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping over his headscarf and socks."
"I saw the Messenger of Allah wiping over his leather socks and turban." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 562)
[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution and wiped over his nose and over the turban."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ set off, and Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah accompanied him. When the Prophet ﷺ finished his business, he said, "Do you have water?" I said yes, and I brought him a bowl. He washed his hands and face, then reached beneath his garment to wash his arms. The sleeves of his garment became tight, so he pulled out his hand from underneath the garment and placed it on his shoulder. He washed his arms and wiped over his feet and turban. Then, he mounted his ride, and I mounted with him. We reached the people, and Abdullah bin Awf had already led them in one Rak'ah prayer. When he realized that the Prophet ﷺ had arrived, he intended to step back, but the Prophet ﷺ gestured to him to continue praying. When Abdullah bin Awf finished the prayer, the Prophet ﷺ and Al-Mughirah both stood up and completed what they had missed.

The Messenger of Allah performed ablution and wiped over his socks and his sandals. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 559)
[Machine] I saw my father perform ablution and he wiped over his footwear. I criticized him for that, so I said to him, "Do you wipe over both shoes?" He said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping over them."
8.19 [Machine] Al-Hayd and al-Istihada
[Machine] "Fāṭimah, the daughter of Abi Hubaysh, used to have menstruation. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Indeed, the blood of menstruation is black in color and can be recognized. So if that is the case, then abstain from prayers. But if it is the other (non-menstrual discharge), then perform ablution and pray.'"
"A woman asked 'Aishah: 'Should a menstruating woman make up the Salah she misses? She said: 'Are you a Haruri? [1] We used to menstruate during the time of Messenger of Allah ﷺ but we did not make up the missed Salah nor were we commanded to do so.'" [1] Meaning are you one of the Khawarij. Harura is a place associated with a group of the Khawarij. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 382)
"Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I do not become pure. Should I stop praying? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'That is a vein and is not menstruation. When your period comes, stop praying, and when the same amount of time as your regular period has passed, then wash the blood from yourself and pray.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 218)
[Machine] Umm Habibah, the daughter of Ja'far, came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and she had been experiencing istihadah (abnormal bleeding) for seven years. She complained about it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and sought his advice. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "This is not menstruation, but rather a hemorrhage, so perform ablution and then pray." Aisha said, "Umm Habibah used to perform ablution for every prayer and she would sit on a piece of cloth, and the redness of the blood would appear as water, then she would pray."

Umm Habibah, daughter of Jahsh, sister-in-law of Messenger of Allah ﷺ and wife of 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awf, had a flow of blood for seven years. She asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: This is not menstruation but only vein; so you should take a bath and pray. 'Aishah said: She used to take bath in a wash-tub in the apartment of her sister Zainab daughter of Jahsh ; the redness of (her) blood dominated the water. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 288)

[Machine] She said that Umm Habiba bint Jahsh performed Istihadah while she was under the authority of Abdulrahman bin Auf, her sister Zainab bint Jahsh's husband, for seven years. She complained about it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he told her, "It is not menstruation, but rather a vein. So, perform the ritual bath and pray." She used to take a bath for every prayer, and she would sit in a different corner from her sister. The blood would appear as drops on the water.
[Machine] Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I experience istihadah (continuous bleeding) for a month or two." Among the jews, when a women menstruated, they ejected her from the house, and they did not eat with her, nor did they drink with her, nor did they associate with her in (their houses) so the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) was questioned about that. Thereupon Allah revealed : “They question thee concerning menstruation. Say : I: is an illness, so let woman alone at such times” (ii 222). The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) then said: Associate with them in the houses and do everything except sexual intercourse. Thereupon the Jews said: This man does not want to leave anything we do without opposing us in it. Usaid b. Hudair and Abbad b. Bishr came and said: Messenger of Allah, the jews are saying such and such a thing. Shall we not then have intercourse with women during mensuration? The face of the Apostle Allah ﷺ underwent such a change that we thought he was angry with them; but when they went out they received a gift of milk which was being brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he sent after them and gave them a drink, whereupon we thought that he was not angry with them.
