Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr and ʿUmar! used to offer the two ʿId prayers before delivering the Khutba.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ ؓ يُصَلُّونَ الْعِيدَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ
Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr and ʿUmar! used to offer the two ʿId prayers before delivering the Khutba.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ ؓ يُصَلُّونَ الْعِيدَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ
Ibn 'Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr and 'Umar used to observe the two 'Id prayers before the sermon.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ كَانُوا يُصَلُّونَ الْعِيدَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, 'Umar, may Allah (SWT) be pleased with them, used to offer the 'Eid prayer before the Khutbah.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ؓ كَانُوا يُصَلُّونَ الْعِيدَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ
"Messenger of Allah, Abu Bakr, and Umar would pray during the two Eid before the Khutbah, then they would give the Khutbah."
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ يُصَلُّونَ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ ثُمَّ يَخْطُبُونَ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
“The Prophet ﷺ, then Abu Bakr, then ‘Umar, used to pray the ‘Eid prayer before delivering the sermon.”
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ثُمَّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ عُمَرُ يُصَلُّونَ الْعِيدَ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ
[Machine] That Prophets ﷺ , Abu Bakr, and Umar used to start with prayer before the sermon on the day of Eid.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ كَانُوا يَبْدَءُونَ بِالصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ فِي الْعِيدِ
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allahﷺ and Abu Bakr and Umar used to begin with prayer before the sermon on the day of Eid."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ كَانُوا يَبْدَءُونَ بِالصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ فِي الْعِيدِ
[Machine] "I witnessed the Prophet, peace be upon him, and Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman praying before the sermon on the day of Eid."
«شَهِدْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ يُصَلُّونَ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ فِي الْعِيدِ»
