The Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, would start their recitation with: "All the praise and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of all that exists.

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ ؓ يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ { الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ }

The Prophet(peace be upon hm), Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthman used to begin the recitation with “Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe.”

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يَفْتَتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ { الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ }

"Messenger of Allah, Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman opened the Salat with (Al-Hamdu-lillahi rabbil-alamin)."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ يَفْتَتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ (الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ )

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthman used to start their recitation with “All praises and thanks are to Allah, the Lord of all that exists. (Al- hamdu Lillahi Rabbil-‘Alamin).’” [1:2]

[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to start the recitation with {Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds}. And Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman used to do the same."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَسْتَفْتِحُ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ {الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ} وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ ؓ

The Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, would start their recitation with: "All the praise and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of all that exists. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 902)

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

[Machine] May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, and Abu Bakr and Umar. They used to begin their recitation with "Alhamdulillahi Rabbil 'Alamin" [Surah Al-Fatiha, verse 2].

اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وعُثمَان فَكَانُوا يَفْتَتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَة بـ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رب العلمين

اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ يَفْتَتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بـ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رب العالمين
