bayhaqi:1208 – [Chain 1] Abū Zakariyyā b. Abū Isḥāq al-Muzakkī And ʾAbū Bakr Aḥmad b. al-Ḥasan al-Qāḍī > Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad b. [Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If a dog drinks from one of your containers, then wash it seven times, the first of which is with soil." This hadith is narrated in Sahihayn from the narration of Malik, as mentioned before. Ibn Uyaynah said that Abu Al-Zinad reported and he meant the place where it drank.  

البيهقي:١٢٠٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ قُرِئَ عَلَى ابْنِ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَكَ مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا شَرِبَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ مُخَرَّجٌ فِي الصَّحِيحَيْنِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ كَمَا مَضَى وَقَالَ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ وَلَغَ مَكَانُ شَرِبَ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If a dog drinks from your vessel, wash it seven times."
