[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if I were to have a mountain of gold, I would prefer that it not remain with me for three nights, and I would have a dinar of it left for someone to take from me, without keeping even a single dirham of it owed to me."

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوْأَنَّ أُحُدًا عِنْدِي ذَهَبًا لَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ لَا يَأْتِيَ عَلَيَّ ثَلَاثُ لَيَالٍ وَعِنْدِي مِنْهُ دِينَارٌ أَجِدُ مَنْ يَقْبَلُهُ مِنِّي لَيْسَ شَيْئًا أَرْصُدُهُ فِي دَيْنٍ عَلَيَّ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I do not like to have any gold with me for three nights while I have some of it, without finding someone to accept it from me except that I settle it in a debt that I owe."

[Machine] "Abu Al-Qasim, if I had some gold with me, it would please me to spend it in the path of Allah and not have a third party involved. I only have dinars and dirhams, but they are all reserved for a debt I owe."

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand my soul is, it does not please me that one of you comes to me with no money and stays with me for three days while I have a dinar that I do not spend it on a debt upon myself."

البيهقي:١٩٨١٠وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثنا أَحْمَدُ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ قَالَ هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ
